    Pitchers

Madison Bumgarner - Our system has no idea about that game. If anything, his price is a little steep because of the recent performance. But even with the big tag I like his matchup against the Brewers. Milwaukee strikes out close to 22% of the time against lefties. The ballpark does favor pitchers by and large and Bumgarner's taken advantage. Madison's peripherals are awesome this season and his last five starts have been nails. You'll have to pay up, but he's a favorite over Lohse and you can afford him today.

    Alex Cobb -

    Hyun-Jin Ryu -

Strongly consider Francisco Liriano and A.J. Burnett to target K's against the Reds and Mets. Also consider Dillon Gee against the Phillies.

    Catchers

    Salvador Perez - FD 2800 DK 3900 DD 7100 DFSTR 3800
It's been a struggle for him against lefties this season, but some of that is related to both his low Babip (.232) and Hr/FB% (8%) both of which are significantly below his career averages. It doesn't tell the whole story of course, but those numbers are part of a dip in production. For his career his xFIP against righties is 133 and I think you are getting him at a nice value today against House.

    Jason Castro - FD 2700 DK 3500 DD 7400 DFSTR 4100
By far his biggest issue is the strikeout. He K's at an ungodly rate and it limits his upside on a daily basis. That's why I want to target him against pitchers with low K and high contact rates. Enter Nick Martinez. Martinez strikes out no one (less than five per nine) and owns an xFIP in the mid fives. He's horrible. Take Castro against him today and you have some power upside.

    First Basemen

    Chris Davis - FD 3100 DK 4700 DD 9400 DFSTR 8100
Starting to come around of late. And by "starting to come around" I mostly mean that he's not striking out every single at bat. That trend should continue today against Nolasco whose low K rate plays perfectly with Crush's profile. I love the stadium for power to right and really think Davis is in a good spot at lower prices. His season's been a rough one for sure, but he might be showing signs of coming out of the spiral.

    Adam Dunn - FD 2600 DK 3600 DD 7700 DFSTR 3000
Speaking of a guy whose profile lines up well with the opposing pitcher. Dunn is a good spot today against Porcello as old Rick doesn't induce a lot of swings and misses. He also doesn't walk a ton of guy meaning he keeps the ball in the zone. This doesn't suggest he gets rocked on the regular, but I want to target Dunn against pitchers who can't blow the big guy away.

    Strongly consider Billy Butler

    Second Basemen

    Omar Infante - FD 2400 DK 3800 DD 7400 DFSTR 6300
I want to go cheap at second base today and Infante represents one of those opportunities. T.J. House has been destroyed by righties this season to the tune of a .383 wOBA. Small sample size of course, but he is worse on that side of the split. Infante, hitting second in the order, has a nice contact rate against lefties, even if he's on the weaker side. More of a cash game play as a lot needs to go right for him to break it out of the box. But he seems safe against House today.

    Aaron Hill - FD 2200 DK 3300 DD 7400 DFSTR 3000
Coming at punt prices, and that's basically what he is at this point. But there aren't a whole ton of second base options and working at min salaries on some guys limits your downside considerably if you just want to punt it away and get money in some other spots. Hill hits around the middle of the order and is better against lefties over the course of his career. He faces Jorge de la Rosa in a hitter's park and the price doesn't do any damage to your cap.

    Consider

    Shortstops

    Hanley Ramirez - FD 3200 DK 4200 DD 10050 DFSTR 5000
I'm writing this during the Dodger game so if he goes off tonight, you need to believe me that I'm writing this under the consideration that he's still struggling. And that's why I want to buy, buy, buy today. His prices are starting to bottom out and when we consider the positional scarcity, it makes total sense to snag him in the mid tier price point against a crappy lefty in Stults. As it remains, Hanley has had an excellent season against lefties with an OPS over .900. That his return from injury has been a struggle only gets his price near the must buy point as long as you consider him healthy. I'll have him all over the place today.

    Elvis Andrus - FD 2400 DK 3500 DD 7650 DFSTR 4300
I probably over-recommend him. But there is something to be said for a SS who hits near the top of the order and adds some upside with his speed. The extra at-bat piece of the pie does matter over the long term as he'll see one more trip to the plate when the Rangers are actually hitting (no guarantee). He's better against lefties for his career and the price is so cheap that honestly his position in the order does tip the scale for me.

    Consider Josh Rutledge

    Third Basemen

    Adrian Beltre - FD 3200 DK 4400 DD 9900 DFSTR 7300
Coming so insanely cheap on FanDuel and not too expensive in some other spots. Have to like a lot about what he's offering today. He face Dallas Keuchel who's low K rate could be a problem today against a guy like Beltre who murders lefty pitching. This season's been more of the same with a .975 OPS and crazy high .417 wOBA. The Ballpark in Arlington helps with power and the prices are just too good to pass up on for Beltre today.

    Martin Prado - FD 3000 DK 4300 DD 8250 DFSTR 8400
We've been touting him against lefties all season and the prices are starting to catch up a little because the Babip started heading towards his career averages. That being said, his inability against righties keeps the salaries somewhat low and you can grab him against J.A. Happ in the Rogers Centre. I don't want to overbuy on him considering Beltre is in the same tier and a much better option. But if you want to go a little different direction, Prado makes sense here.

    Consider Trevor Plouffe

    Outfielders

There are a bunch of cheaper options here today.
    Yasiel Puig - FD 2800 DK 4400 DD 10800 DFSTR 3000
Much like Hanley, Puig's prices are bottoming out because of an extended power drought that has me a little worried. But not enough to avoid him today. On FanDuel, against the left, he's simply too cheap to pass on against Stults. The latter is below average and particularly bad against righties for his career. It's been a rough go of it for Puig of late with the long ball. But these prices are simply too low to pass up on.

    Mark Trumbo - FD 2900 DK 4200 DD 8050 DFSTR 4100
Another guy I love targeting against weaker lefties. His struggles against righties keep his price depressed when he's in these optimal situations. The rest of the DBack offense is horrible, which does hurt Trumbo's potential upside because they are dogs to put up a lot of runs. But I like him as a one off.

    Alex Rios - FD 2500 DK 3500 DD 8550 DFSTR 5800
Want to have him in there at near punt prices against the lefty today. His power hasn't been there this season which is a bit concerning, but I think these prices just beg to scoop him up and play him at near minimums. Still hits in the middle of the order and ranks among the best in the league in hitting lefty pitching this season.

    Josh Willingham - FD 3400 DK 4100 DD 8550 DFSTR 3600
I'm thinking I want to have some exposure to the Royals righties today against House. I don't want to overdo it, but they have some guys in their lineup today that make for some nice value plays. Willingham has a better than .800 OPS against lefties on the season and is historically better on that side of the split.

    Dexter Fowler - FD 3000 DK 4400 DD 8500 DFSTR 4400
    Robbie Grossman - FD 2600 DK 3700 DD 7150 DFSTR 3000
If you are considering stacking some Astros against Nick Martinez, I'd take a look at these guys.

Consider Scott Van Slyke and Matt Kemp
