New DFS Site Draftboard Big on In-Game Experience and Fair Practice.

Posted by on Nov 1, 2017 in Bonus Codes, featured, News | 0 comments

Why we've taken on a new daily fantasy sports site You don’t read about many new DFS sites launched in this mature and highly competitive market, but 2017 is looking a little different so far. We had Fanball resurrected in August this year and just a month later a new and very different DFS platform was launched in Draftboard. Draftboard is the brainchild of well-known poker Pro Phil Galfond of Runitonce fame. If you know Galfond you will have read his opinions on the issues facing the poker economy and the need for fairness and a level playing field. These translate easily to Daily Fantasy Sports and he and CEO Dan Quinn shaped Draftboard.com based on a desire to provide an entertaining and fair DFS experience. The Draftboard experience is indeed slick. The site is beautiful. A lot of thought has been put into making engagement top shelf. Take a look at this brief video showing their interface. Another difference you will notice right away is that you build your line-up first and then enter it to a contest. Draftboard has several features that protect new players, all branded under Fair Match. Separate high and low stakes lobbies prevent users from playing $50 and $1 contests on the same day in a given sport. Right now Draftboard is focused on NFL and NBA but this will extend to hockey when it launches. Contests are formed using a random opponent selection process. This eliminates the problem of experienced DFS player targeting newbies. An innovative multi-entry system matches first entries in a contest with only other first entries. It then matches second entries with second entries, third with third and so on. So you won’t see one player with more than one entry in a single contest. One of the biggest threats to the future of the DFS economy is that there is no place for new players to hone their craft before taking on the pros, and Draftboard provides that. Draftboard serves Canada and about 30 US states. The best way to judge Draftboard is to try it for yourself. Right now you can do so for free. Sign up an account and they will credit you $1 to try. No deposit required. It is a low cost way to check out the site. It is also a way to take a run at their $10,000 NFL Record Breaker prize, which awards the highest all time line-up score. Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – 10/17/17

Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings - 10/17/17 Can you even believe it? It seems like almost yesterday we were watching the Warriors finalize their relatively inevitable championship run and dispatching the Cavs in the finals. And then the NBA offseason happened. What an offseason it was; with more franchise-changing moves than we’re likely to ever see again in a three-month span. It was nuts. More than 50% of teams saw, what I would call, “major” overhauls to their starting lineups either through mass player movement or the addition/ subtraction of an NBA star (some teams had both). It’s a nuts way to start the season and will make this early season of basketball one of the more (if not most) interesting in recent memory. We start the year with an intriguing two-game slate featuring an Eastern Conference Finals rematch* between the Cavs and Celtics and a tilt between the champion Warriors and Chris Paul-added Rockets. *Term used incredibly loosely here as these two teams are like 70% different in their starting lineups from when they squared off last May. Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA optimizer, our NFL Optimizer, and our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. Point guard Kyrie Irving FD - $8200 DK - $8300 Opponent - CLE Proj Pts FD - 39.51 DK - 42.06 Great price + great player + great narrative = this Flat Earth truther. Irving heads to the Celtics in what most season’s would have been the biggest offseason move by a wide margin. This year it rated as merely “top news.” He looks to take over a major scoring role for a completely revamped Celtics team returning only one starter from last season (Horford). Irving average a 25/6/3 line in 2017 on 19 shots per game. You know who put up 19 shots per game for the Celts last season? Thomas, who Irving effectively replaces. This seems like a standard baseline for the latter’s usage. The assists have never come in great numbers for Irving and even with the change of scenery I doubt they spike now. But the scoring is elite and his FanDuel price is right in the cash game zone of value. It’s a little closer on DraftKings where he’s priced in line with Curry and CP3. Oh and he’s going to see a steady helping of Derrick Rose “defense”. Derrick Rose FD - $5500 DK...

Let's recap last week before moving on to Pocono. Last week's win was the 83rd of Jimmie Johnson's Hall of Fame career, tying him with Cale Yarborough for sixth on the all-time list. That puts him just one win behind Darrell Waltrip and Bobby Allison and just 10 back of Jeff Gordon for third. Last week's win was the 83rd of Jimmie Johnson's Hall of Fame career, tying him with Cale Yarborough for sixth on the all-time list. That puts him just one win behind Darrell Waltrip and Bobby Allison and just 10 back of Jeff Gordon for third. Enjoy it up there in third while you can Jeff, Jimmie is coming. This week the Monster Energy Cup series travels to Pocono Raceway, better known as the "Tricky Triangle" for its unique setup. As you probably already guessed by the nickname Pocono is made up of three corners and the unique part is that each corner is different from one another. The biggest challenge for the crew chief is working on a setup for the car that balances out and works well in all corners. It is definitely a week to pay close attention to all practices. For fantasy purposes, it is going to be to balancing act between place differential and dominator points. First of all, there are only 160 laps available to lead and with the new stages and pit strategies, we are most likely going to see multiple drivers lead 20+ laps. Place differential isn't going to be as easy as it appears either. Looking at the cheatsheet and the last three years results, we see that no more than two drivers have finished inside the top 10 who started outside of the top 20. Also, all but once in those six races, at least five drivers who started inside the top 10 finished there. This puts even more emphasis on practice and qualifying so stay tuned for my post practice/qualifying video...
