Quarterbacks Jalen Hurts FD 9200 DK 8300 Opponent ARIProj Points FD - 28 DK - 28 We are probably in a spot where we will need to spend up for quarterback this week, and that could leave us in something of a tricky spot. This game very much means something for the Eagles who are still fighting for the NFC East and get to face off against the dreadful Cardinals. It’s a dream spot, and Philly is -11.5 home favorites. He’s third among quarterbacks in rushing yards and second overall in the NFL in rushing touchdowns. The floor is just so, so high here and though the Cardinals don’t allow a ton of passing yards per game, it’s mostly because they are getting crushed on the ground. Patrick Mahomes FD 8000 DK 7500 Opponent CINProj Points FD - 24.23 DK - 24.23 If you watched the Chiefs play the Raiders last week, I would understand the hesitancy to play Mahomes in cash games this week. He was running for his life and completed only 61% of his passes for 235 total yards. But I think we can go back to the well here, considering he’s going against a Bengals’ defense, allowing the fifth-most passing yards per game and most passing yards per pass attempt. They are the dream spot for opposing quarterbacks and Mahomes has seen the price come down some. This is a smash spot in a place for the Chiefs to get right. Running Back Christian McCaffrey FD 11000 DK 9600 Opponent WASProj Points FD - 27.89 DK - 30.42 It is going to be tough rostering one of the expensive quarterbacks and also getting CMC into lineups. But there’s reason to try because McCaffrey is pushing up against historic levels now. He’s about 500 yards away from the yards-from-scrimmage record, which is a tough sell, but it’s still (just a little) plausible. He could also conceivably move into the top 10 in single-season touchdown scoring as well. Plus, he faces off against the Commanders, who completely stink, and the 49ers still need to win out for the playoffs. This is lining up basically perfectly for CMC. Kyren Williams FD 9400 DK 8300 Opponent NYGProj Points FD - 23.32 DK - 25.44 The Kyren Williams usage remains among the best in the league and he’s touched the ball at least 22 times in each of the...

Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! Quarterbacks C.J. Stroud FD 7700 DK 7700 Opponent JAXProj Points FD - 20.25 DK - 20.25 We could be in a situation where stacking a particular game in cash even on a bigger slate. CJ Stroud has been nothing short of amazing in his rookie season racking up 330 or more passing yards in each of the last three weeks and about to walk away with the Rookie of the Year. Now he’ll face the Jaguars in what could be another shootout and the price, unbelievably, hasn’t gotten all the way there yet. I like the FanDuel price a bit more than DraftKings all things considered. He’s priced just below the elite tier of Allen, Mahomes, Hurts, etc but has just as much upside as that group. Trevor Lawrence FD 7800 DK 6400 Opponent HOUProj Points FD - 19.43 DK - 19.43 This game has the second-highest total on the slate so having some exposure here makes sense. We had Trevor Lawrence as a bounce-back candidate last week and that more than worked out. He threw for 262 yards and two touchdowns while also running in for two more. It was a slate-breaking performance from Lawrence who had been struggling a bit in the short-term. The DraftKings price is way too cheap in my opinion and if the rushing attempts hold then his floor is plenty high enough. Strongly consider Jalen Hurts here, especially on FanDuel. He could be a chalkier option there. Running Back Bijan Robinson FD 7400 DK 6500 Opponent NOProj Points FD - 18.95 DK - 20.72 Arthur Smith finally saw the light of day in Week 10 when he trotted Bijan Robinson out there for 75% of the running back snaps, giving him 22 carries and two targets as well. If this is the new plan (and let’s hope that it is) then he’s way, way too cheap on both sites. From the talent pedigree to the every down role, he has an incredibly high floor that is essentially script independent. Again, Smith can’t totally be trusted here, but for this game, I think we can run him out in cash against the Saints. Jonathan Taylor FD 7500 DK 6900 Opponent TBProj Points FD - 19.25 DK - 20.74 Jonathan Taylor gets a rougher matchup against the Bucs who have been only allowing 3.7 yards per carry to opponents this season, but there’s an...

Daily Fantasy NFL Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Week 7 Main Slate 10/22/23

Daily Fantasy NFL Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings - Week 7 Main Slate 10/22/23 Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NFL and MLB optimizers and our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! Quarterbacks Patrick Mahomes FD 9200 DK 8300 Opponent LACProj Points FD - 25.28 DK - 25.28 Chiefs and Chargers have the highest total on the main slate of games and it isn’t all that close with the game sitting four points higher than the next closest one. Patrick Mahomes is QB4 in DraftKings scoring on the season this one could be something of a shootout. You are paying a premium on Mahomes for sure, but there should be cheaper running backs to smooth salary concerns out for overall lineup construction. Geno Smith FD 7000 DK 6000 Opponent ARIProj Points FD - 18.45 DK - 18.45 Gen Smith is coming cheaper on both sites and gets one of the best matchups on the slate facing off against the Cardinals at home. He isn’t having quite the season we saw last year, off that pace in terms of yards and touchdowns with the completion percentage down as well. But the Cardinals have the 31st-ranked defense on the season and this is a get-right spot for sure. I like stacking Geno and Kenneth Walker (will get to him in a second) in cash games because the floor should be very high for the offense in general. Running Back Isiah Pacheco FD 7400 DK 6100 Opponent LACProj Points FD - 16.27 DK - 18.22 Having exposure to the Chiefs after Mahomes can get tough because, at least in the pass game, the wide receivers are all over the place. And Travis Kelce is very expensive. But Pacheco is still coming at something of a value. He’s playing about 60-65% of the offensive snaps and last week had elite usage with 16 carries and 6 targets. This kind of role in one of the best offenses in football is too good to pass up and his price doesn’t match at all. Kenneth Walker III FD 8800 DK 7000 Opponent ARIProj Points FD - 16.85 DK - 18.34 While he’s expensive on FanDuel, this is definitely a spot to play Kenneth Walker on DraftKings considering the context. We love playing home running backs on teams that are big favorites and that’s the case with the Seahawks here. They are -8 against the Cardinals who rank 29th in run defense on the season. Walker got 76% of the offensive snaps in Week 6, carrying the ball 19 times while also seeing three targets in the...

For a limited time, we're offering a free one-week trial to all the sports that we cover - that's optimal lineups for NFL and MLB - for the same low price. Get started now! START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! Quarterbacks Josh Allen FD 8800 DK 8100 Opponent MIAProj Points FD - 25.06 DK - 25.79 Through his six games, Josh Allen is first among quarterbacks in DraftKings per game scoring at 28.22 and he’s third overall behind only Derrick Henry and Cooper Kupp. It’s quarterbacks all the way down after that, but Allen is the best among the group. Miami ranks 25th in defensive DVOA this season and is actually allowing the 5th-most opponents plays per game as well. This lines up perfectly for Allen considering how much the Bills want to keep the ball in the air with their superstar quarterback. Allen has the sixth-most rushing yards among quarterbacks this season and that's even without being totally pressed to do so in the offense.  Trevor Lawrence FD 6700 DK 5500 Opponent SEAProj Points FD - 18.4 DK - 19.16 This matchup lines up very well for the rookie with Lawrence facing off against a pretty bad Seattle team. Over the course of the season, the Seahawks have allowed the most opponent plays and ranks 25th overall in defense against the pass. It’s been an up-and-down first season for Lawrence though, from a fantasy perspective, he does offer a higher floor because he will get out and run. He’s averaging more than four rushes per game and has a couple of touchdowns on the ground. And over the last four weeks, he’s improving his accuracy completing 66% of his passes in that stretch. He’s coming cheaper on a week we might want to load up at the other positions. Running Backs Darrell Henderson Jr. FD 7700 DK 6500 Opponent HOUProj Points FD - 20.3 DK - 22.37 Running backs in positive game scripts is the place to be and almost no one projects to have a better one than Henderson this week against the Texans. The Rams come in as -14 road favorites against Houston and Henderson is set to, once again, dominate the touches out of the backfield. He played 88% of the snaps in Week 7, totaling 21 touches (15 carries and six targets) even though the yards didn’t exactly rack up. Nevertheless, He’s looking like a chalk option going into Week 8 and the price isn’t making it all that difficult on either site. Leonard Fournette FD 7200 DK 6300 Opponent NOProj...

Daily Fantasy College Football Picks for DraftKings – Week 14

Daily Fantasy College Football Picks for DraftKings - Week 14 The final week of CFB has arrived and it is with a heavy hand I type this week's article. It’s Championship Week and all eyes will surely be on Oklahoma vs Texas, the rematch, and of course, the one-man wrecking crew, Kyler Murray. Can the Sooners avenge their only loss to make their case for the final spot in the coveted playoff. Will Ohio State remain steady against a sneaky Northwestern team. Bama will remain perfect so no worries there. This is a difficult slate to navigate with so many marquee players available, but not enough salary to roster them all. Let's get after it.   Quarterback Darriel Mack Jr. -UCF DK 6800 Opponent Memphis Team Total - 32.5 This is by far the easiest choice you will make Saturday. Mack is not as much of a bargain salary as one would hope, but given the matchup and skill set, it’s a no-brainer. Mack will be replacing McKenzie Milton who has been lost for the season as a result of a gruesome injury. In all seriousness, we wish him the best in his recovery as his playing career as a whole is in jeopardy. Mack is nowhere near the passer Milton was, but he runs and runs, then runs some more. In his last start, Mack ran the ball 22 times compared to 20 pass attempts. That was against East Carolina and not the high powered offense of Memphis. Central Florida is going to turn Mack loose from start to finish in this one in hopes to preserve the perfect season. I would imagine he will be a popular play and not one you want to go against the grain. Ryan Willis -Virginia Tech DK 5700 Opponent Marshall Team Total - 27.75 While I see Mack being a heavy start I don't see many people on Willis. Especially after his last two outings and Virginia Tech as a whole. The Hokies have seemingly fallen apart from ACC contender to bust. Willis has generally been very steady doing just enough through the air and with his legs. The past couple weeks haven't been very pretty. Against Miami’s tough defense is one thing, but last week against Virginia was especially disconcerting. The Hokies have an implied total of 27.5 so the production is there to be had and most of what Virginia Tech does is through Willis. Superflex option only.   Running Back Greg McCrae -UCF DK 7000 Opponent Memphis Team Total - 32.5 Out of nowhere, Greg McCrae has become the stud back for the undefeated Knights. Central Florida uses a rotation of backs which was led by Adrian Killins,...

Daily Fantasy College Football Picks for DraftKings – Week 13

Daily Fantasy College Football Picks and Betting Spotlight (Premium) for DraftKings - Week 13 Gobble gobble gobble everyone! This is the most amazing week in terms of football, both College and the NFL, and hands down the best holiday weekend of the year. We have two action-packed slates to break down so I'm about to cram a ton of data into this article like sitting down at Thanksgiving dinner. Seriously folks, is there anything better then slowly slipping into an FIC, aka Food Induced Coma, while watching foosball? I didn't think so. The highlight of the entire weekend arrives Friday night at 8pm when Oklahoma takes on West Virginia. Sadly Draftkings split this game off into a two-game slate Friday night. The salaries on the two-game slate are little softer than what we would expect for these players on a main slate so it should make for an exciting slate despite being only two games. Due to the amount of games and two full slates I will provide players from both nights, but with a condensed summary. Quarterback Friday Desmond Ridder -Cincinnati DK 6800 Opponent East Carolina Team Total - 25 Ridder checks all the boxes of a cash quarterback. He runs a little, he throws a little, he’s a healthy 19 point favorite, and the salary is forgiving. East Carolina has been putting points on the board lately, but the Bearcats are a step up in the defensive competition so we’ll see. Personally, I don't think 51 is near enough points to contain this game and pairing Ridder with Warren at running back puts your lineup to gobble up most of Cincinnati's scoring. In fact, the pair of Ridder and Warren account for approx 79% of Cincinnati's offensive touchdowns. Blake Barnett -South Florida DK 6200 Opponent UCF Team Total - 34.5 It feels really gross rostering Barnett after last week’s misery of a game against my Hootie Owls and I certainly won’t be playing him in cash games. That said, the upside is tremendous. When Blake is on his game he is running and throwing his way up and down the field. Blake was coming off an injury that forced him to miss a game then went on the road against an underrated Owls defense, some rust was to be expected. The Bulls are 14 point dogs with a total of 68. This is a rivalry game being playing on Blake’s home turf. If there is a game Blake can put it altogether fantasy wise, this is it. Saturday David Blough -Purdue DK 8500 Opponent Indiana Team Total - 34 Purdue has been one of the hottest teams in the country over the second half of the season...
