Quarterbacks Lamar Jackson FD 8700 DK 7900 Opponent HOUProj Points FD - 22.22 DK - 22.22 Lamar Jackson has been off for a couple of weeks now, so I suppose there’s some concern about too much rust. But there’s also a ton of rest in there as well, and at this point in the NFL season, that can really mean a lot. The Ravens are -9.5 home favorites here against the Texans with Lamar coming a bit cheaper than Josh Allen for this Divisional Round. He was second among quarterbacks in rush attempts on the season, completed passes at a career-high 67% rate, and had a 24:7 TD: INT. Plus, he’s getting Mark Andrews back for this game as well, giving him yet another weapon. Jackson has a very high floor in this game. Baker Mayfield FD 7300 DK 6000 Opponent DETProj Points FD - 18.11 DK - 18.11 Though the Bucs are underdogs here, there are reasons to like Baker Mayfield as a cash game play. The Lions have let it up to opposing quarterbacks this season, ranking 30th in yards per pass attempt and 27th in passing yards per game allowed. The dome conditions will play fast here no matter what and it stands to reason Tampa is playing from behind. At worst, they are going to need to try to hold serve with a high-powered Lions offense. Mayfield threw for 337 yards against the Eagles in the Wild Card round and, over his last six games, has gone for 13 touchdowns and just two interceptions. Running Back Christian McCaffrey FD 10800 DK 8800 Opponent GBProj Points FD - 24.96 DK - 26.86 When it comes to running backs, we are looking for home favorites, in good offenses with guys who handle all three downs. Check, check, and check with Christian McCaffrey. He led the NFL in overall usage (carries + targets) with 355 total touches. That was 13 more than the next-closest running back (Rachaad White) despite playing one whole game less. It was a remarkable season from the workhouse back. With a couple of weeks off now, it stands to reason he will see a big workload once again. The Packers were among the worst in the league in opponents rushing yards per game on the season. Plus, they ranked 23rd in opponents' yards per rush. This is a smash spot for CMC. He should be...

Quarterbacks Dak Prescott FD 8600 DK 7600 Opponent GBProj Points FD - 22.54 DK - 22.54 The Cowboys are in a great spot this Wild Card weekend, facing off against the Packers at home as -7.5 favorites with a 50.5 total. There could be a lot of points here, considering Green Bay comes in with the fifth-worst defensive DVOA in the league. Plus, the weather won’t be in the way it could be with some other games. Dak finished the season with over 4,500 passing yards and a 36:9 TD: INT rate. It was an awesome season and he isn’t even the most expensive quarterback on the slate. This is a great spot, and I expect him to be a popular play. Jordan Love FD 7600 DK 6300 Opponent DALProj Points FD - 17.96 DK - 17.96 Jordan Love poured it on at the end of the season, throwing nine touchdowns and zero interceptions over the final four weeks of the season. He averaged right around 270 passing yards per game in that stretch, with the Packers winning three of their final four to get into the playoffs. Plus, he’ll have Christian Watson back in the mix, giving him a full complement of weapons on Sunday. Dallas has been a good defense this season for sure, but on a weekend that features some iffy outdoor weather, getting quarterbacks in dome environments should be the priority. Along with Dak, Jordan Love, Jared Goff, and Matthew Stafford all fit the bill here and are all coming in the same price tier. Running Back Aaron Jones FD 7000 DK 6300 Opponent DALProj Points FD - 18.27 DK - 20.21 Aaron Jones has finally been unleashed, and the last few weeks have been a testament to what he can do when he is A: healthy and B: given a full workload. Over that span, Jones is averaging 21 carries a game and 119 yards on the ground. Plus, he’s totaled nine targets and 58 yards through the air. It’s been amazing. We can ride this hot hand into the playoffs against the Cowboys. Dallas can be run on. I think the Packers will lean heavily this way for the Wild Card round. Tony Pollard FD 7800 DK 6100 Opponent GBProj Points FD - 16.04 DK - 17.79 Tony Pollard finally did something! That’s right, after weeks (and kind of a season) of struggles...

Daily Fantasy NFL Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Week 18 Main Slate 1/7/23

Quarterbacks Dak Prescott FD 8700 DK 8000 Opponent WASProj Points FD - 24.64 DK - 24.64 Week 18 always offers some of the trickier DFS situations because teams’ motivations are all over the place, with some sitting, some going all-out, and some kind of in between. The Dallas Cowboys fall into the all-out category with a chance to win the NFC East. That should mean a ton of passes from Dak Prescott against the Washington Commanders and one of the worst defenses in the entire league. It’s a dream spot for Dak Prescott who has put up some awesome numbers this season, completing 68% of his passes for 4,237 yards and a 32:8 TD:INT rate. The price is up there, but the floor might be the highest of any QB on the slate. Justin Fields FD 8400 DK 7200 Opponent GBProj Points FD - 22.08 DK - 22.08 The Bears aren’t playing for anything here, though this could be one final audition for Justin Fields to remain the starting quarterback into next season. They already have the #1 pick via the Panthers, so they are in a bit of house money territory against the Packers. This could be play spoiler territory, and I love the floor on Fields, who has been completing passes efficiently enough and still runs as much as any quarterback in the game. Coming cheaper than Dak with the ground game as a floor-raiser, I do like this spot for Fields, especially on DraftKings. Tyrod Taylor FD 7000 DK 5300 Opponent PHIProj Points FD - 18.69 DK - 18.69 Going on the cheaper side of things, we get Tyrod Taylor who was a popular DraftKings play in Week 17 and could be one again this time around. The Giants aren’t playing for much besides spoiler, but that’s what they did last week against the Rams where Taylor was fantasy gold at these price points. He threw for 319 yards and a touchdown while also running six times for 40 yards. Now he’ll get an Eagles’ defense that’s been an absolute sieve of late, giving it up to Kyler Murray and the Cardinals just last week. This is another good spot for Taylor and the Giants. Running Back Tony Pollard FD 7600 DK 6500 Opponent WASProj Points FD - 17.55 DK - 19.98 Oof, can we really do it again? I think we can do it...

Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! Quarterbacks Jalen Hurts FD 9200 DK 8300 Opponent ARIProj Points FD - 28 DK - 28 We are probably in a spot where we will need to spend up for quarterback this week, and that could leave us in something of a tricky spot. This game very much means something for the Eagles who are still fighting for the NFC East and get to face off against the dreadful Cardinals. It’s a dream spot, and Philly is -11.5 home favorites. He’s third among quarterbacks in rushing yards and second overall in the NFL in rushing touchdowns. The floor is just so, so high here and though the Cardinals don’t allow a ton of passing yards per game, it’s mostly because they are getting crushed on the ground. Patrick Mahomes FD 8000 DK 7500 Opponent CINProj Points FD - 24.23 DK - 24.23 If you watched the Chiefs play the Raiders last week, I would understand the hesitancy to play Mahomes in cash games this week. He was running for his life and completed only 61% of his passes for 235 total yards. But I think we can go back to the well here, considering he’s going against a Bengals’ defense, allowing the fifth-most passing yards per game and most passing yards per pass attempt. They are the dream spot for opposing quarterbacks and Mahomes has seen the price come down some. This is a smash spot in a place for the Chiefs to get right. Running Back Christian McCaffrey FD 11000 DK 9600 Opponent WASProj Points FD - 27.89 DK - 30.42 It is going to be tough rostering one of the expensive quarterbacks and also getting CMC into lineups. But there’s reason to try because McCaffrey is pushing up against historic levels now. He’s about 500 yards away from the yards-from-scrimmage record, which is a tough sell, but it’s still (just a little) plausible. He could also conceivably move into the top 10 in single-season touchdown scoring as well. Plus, he faces off against the Commanders, who completely stink, and the 49ers still need to win out for the playoffs. This is lining up basically perfectly for CMC. Kyren Williams FD 9400 DK 8300 Opponent NYGProj Points FD - 23.32 DK - 25.44 The Kyren Williams usage remains among the best in the league and he’s touched the ball at least 22 times in each of the...

Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! Quarterbacks Justin Fields FD 8300 DK 7100 Opponent ARIProj Points FD - 23.16 DK - 23.16 It sure seems like Justin Fields is playing for his future as the Bears quarterback and we are happy to ride that through the final few weeks of the season. In Week 16, it works out perfectly with the Bears facing off against the Cardinals who have one of the worst defenses in the NFL. Fields was inefficient against the Browns last time out, but that was a significantly more difficult lift. In the previous three games, Fields had run 12, 12, and 18 times and gotten enough done through the air to really give him upside. He for sure has that this time out against Arizona and on the main slate is the best QB option. Kyler Murray FD 7600 DK 6400 Opponent CHIProj Points FD - 19.85 DK - 19.85 Let’s go to the other side of the ball for our other cash game quarterback on this main slate. The Chicago Bears defense has been better lately, but I still like running with Kyler Murray here. He’s run 15 total times over the last two weeks, and last week got the pass attempts up to 39, completing them at a 67% rate. When it comes to the floor, Fields is higher because he just runs more, but Kyler is cheaper and in a good game environment for cash games. Consider Nick Mullens coming at just $5300 on DraftKings. Running Back Ty Chandler FD 6900 DK 5600 Opponent DETProj Points FD - 16.68 DK - 18.01 It looks like Alexander Mattison is going to sit again this week, and that should open up another week of huge opportunity for Ty Chandler. He played 81% of the snaps last time out, carrying the ball 23 times while also seeing four targets in the passing game. That accounted for 43% of the Vikings offensive plays. Minnesota is a 3.5 dog to the Lions this week, but the game’s 47-point total is the second-highest of the slate. We will want exposure here on both sides of the ball if possible. Zack Moss FD 6600 DK 6500 Opponent ATLProj Points FD - 17.63 DK - 19.08 Zack Moss left the game very early last week and never returned. It was a massive bummer for a guy who was massive chalk on the Saturday slate. But...

Quarterbacks Brock Purdy FD 8400 DK 6800 Opponent ARIProj Points FD - 21.3 DK - 21.3 Brock Purdy is in the MVP discussion for a reason, and he’s a fantastic cash game option again this week. While the FanDuel price is getting tough to fit, the DraftKings salary could make him a chalkier option once again. He’s averaged 314 passing yards per game over the last six weeks, and that even includes a 209-yard game mixed in there. He’s been unbelievably efficient, and the 49ers offense looks borderline unstoppable. The matchup against Arizona is one of the best around even with the Cardinals slightly better against the pass than the run. Jordan Love FD 8000 DK 6200 Opponent TBProj Points FD - 19.56 DK - 19.56 Jordan Love isn’t a name we might expect to see, but he draws such a good matchup that he needs to be in consideration for cash games on this slate. The Bucs are one of the worst pass defenses in the league this season and opponents have lit them up all year long. They rank among the worst in yards per pass attempt and passing yards allowed per game. Love has attempted 36 or more passes in four of the last five weeks, completing more than 65% during that stretch. He’ll also get out and run from time to time as well. The floor is high here because of the matchup and the DraftKings price makes him relatively easy to fit into lineups. Running Back Christian McCaffrey FD 10500 DK 9300 Opponent ARIProj Points FD - 27.39 DK - 29.92 I think that the cash game running back options are going to be pretty clear-cut on this main slate with the closer decisions coming at quarterback and wide receiver. Christian McCaffrey is in another amazing spot this week, facing off against an Arizona team that owns one of the worst defenses in football. The 49ers are huge -13.5 road favorites, and CMC hasn’t carried the ball fewer than 16 times in the last five weeks. Sure, the one target against the Seahawks is “concerning,” but his usage has been off the charts all season, and he comes here with a massive floor. Kyren Williams FD 9600 DK 7500 Opponent WASProj Points FD - 23.1 DK - 25.09 Few other running backs have the kind of opportunity Kyren Williams carries right now. That...
