Basketball Picks Daily Fantasy Expert Advice

With most games starting early tonight, we should have a significant amount of player information and lineup considerations out there before tip. Let's take a look at some things that have come up today to expand on our daily picks posted earlier.

Kyrie Irving is a game time decision tonight. At this point we all know the disaster that took place last game with the Cavs starters. Irving, on paper, appears a solid option against the Wizards, but it is very scary thinking about slotting him into lineups. With an added injury concern he becomes a more of a stay away. That being said, if he sits Jarrett Jack is completely in play. If the Cavs are shorthanded Jack should see his minutes regardless of whatever is happening inside Mike Brown's head.

Jordan Farmar is out tonight for the Lakers. This clears away some of the hesitancy I had about Steve Blake's minutes, though Blake is a GTD tonight with a thigh bruise. If he plays, Blake is now a great start on all sites. He could see huge minutes in the Laker backcourt. This also makes Wes Johnson and Ryan Kelly even better options (they were already awesome value). This also makes Steve Nash somewhat intriguing, mainly because of the opponent.

Lance Stephenson is out tonight. I wasn't really considering him to begin with, but I think this really boosts Paul George's value on DraftStreet where he is priced under 14K. Also keep an eye on Danny Granger FD $3,600 DK $3,900 DS $8,130 who is now in the starting lineup.

Rajon Rondo looks like he'll sit tonight. And Avery Bradley is iffy. This puts Jerryd Bayless FD $4,100 DK $3,800 $ DS $7,010 and Phil Pressey FD $3,700 DK $4,200 DS $3,237 firmly in play.

Kevin Love is playing tonight. This should be a great matchup against Anthony Davis as they compete for every rebound available. I like Davis on FanDuel and DraftKings. With a number of good options at power forward tonight, I think you can find some better safety than Love coming back from injury.

We recommended Jamal Crawford and it's looking like JJ Redick won't play tonight. Getting early news on a late game would be fantastic. I think you can almost take the risk on Redick not going and Jamal getting into the starting lineup. Crawford is a great value today.
