Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings and DraftStreet 4/3/14

The lightest of Thursdays tonight in the NBA before an epic Friday. We will keep the picks nice and quick tonight. Included FanDuel prices, but keep in mind they have Fri-Sat tournaments going only. Nothing for just today.

Point Guards

Reggie Jackson - FanDuel $6,000 DraftKings $5,100 DraftStreet $10,570
This play is only going if Westbrook sits out. I believe Russell will sit this part of the back-to-back and if so Jackson is pretty much a must start on DraftKings and DraftStreet. A little pricey for me on FanDuel, but the safety of him playing would probably precipitate the move. Like I said, check Russell's status and if he's out fire off Jackson everywhere.

Darren Collison - FanDuel $5,700 DraftKings $5,400 DraftStreet $10,565
Will be rolling him out as well assuming Crawford sits again. The Clips basically have no backcourt and have been forced to run Jared Dudley around the court (we'll get to him in a bit) so you know they are in dire straits. I'm looking for minutes tonight at low costs and Collison is perfect in that respect. When the Clips are without guards, Darren pays these prices off easily.

Tony Parker - FanDuel $6,000 DraftKings $6,500 DraftStreet $10,938
At the risk of mentioning three guys at one position on a night with only two games, let me say that I'm only running Parker on FanDuel if Westrbook plays, and probably only on DraftKings as well. It's closer there. But I think you can squeeze all three of these guys into DraftStreet lineups which is why he warrants a mention.

Shooting Guards

Monta Ellis - FanDuel $7,400 DraftKings $7,700 DraftStreet $14,772
I don't love this play, but you might just need someone to play in the SG slot and he is safe-ish. Though his game against the Clippers recently was bad, he was still able to get off 19 shots. He only made four, but that is an outlier for Monta in terms of futility. I'm encouraged that he got the looks.

Small Forwards

Matt Barnes - FanDuel $5,600 DraftKings $5,100 DraftStreet $11,234
Another cheaper option you can roll with. And the same logic applies to Barnes that went for Collison and Dudley. No Crawford? No problem.

Shawn Marion - FanDuel $5,200 DraftKings $5,100 DraftStreet $9,992
The Matrix is a guy we were firing off all the time early in the season but haven't used too much of late. That's been a bit of a mistake as he's been playing real well. The minutes are back when he gets thirty or more of run then he should be safe especially considering this will be a fast-paced game.

Jared Dudley - FanDuel $3,500 DraftKings $3,000 DraftStreet $5,620
He's a SG on FanDuel so keep that in mind. On the other two sites he'll fill up on of those F slots real nicely assuming Crawford sits again. Crawford  not playing cascade the value all the way down the chain . Again, this is only a play if Crawford is out, but if so Dudley can score (even though he stinks in real life).

Power Forwards

Dirk Nowitzki - FanDuel $7,700 DraftKings $8,600 DraftStreet $17,069
If choosing between Dirk and Duncan, I'm going Dirk. It's close but I want to make a firm choice here. Dirk has the better matchup and has posted some monsters in the last four games. The Clippers even with Griffin are below league average against power forwards even though Dirk was below average in their meeting last week. It's not scaring me off. I'll be running Dirk unless the money is too close.

Centers

Tiago Splitter - FanDuel $5,400 DraftKings $4,300 DraftStreet $9,544
Not many center options so I'll go the value route and choose to spend on Duncan or Paul if I save enough elsewhere. Splitter has been playing great for the Spurs and the Thunder are about league average against opposing centers with scoring.
