    Quarterback

    Jeff Driskel
The Florida transfer may have a found himself a new home in Ruston, Louisiana playing for the La Tech Bulldogs. Last week Driskel opened the year basically perfect, throwing for four touchdowns on only 15 pass attempts while running another in. Last week's opponent, Southern, was known more for their marching band than their football and the Bulldogs know this week against WKU will be a totally different story. Much to my chagrin, WKU was essentially awful last week facing a not-so-great Vanderbilt team, but maybe they were looking ahead at revenge. Ok, I realize it’s a little farfetched to think WKU was looking past an SEC team, but you bet your sweet arse they want revenge against La Tech. Last year The Bulldogs thumped the Hilltoppers to the tune of 59-10. Driskel & Co. are on the road and also coming off a short week. It may seem like there are some things working against Driskel here and I gave a brief pause about the potential for an extremely hostile environment; one where the home team remembers the embarrassment put on them last year. But I'm rolling Driskel. Start with his price. Money is crazy tight and on a site like DraftKings where you play two quarterbacks, it's really hard to imagine a lineup that doesn’t include Driskel (though it isn't impossible). Fanduel offers more salary flexibility so I don’t think he's necessarily a must start there, but still probably the best option. Driskel's career at Florida never really materialized partially due to injury and partially due to a lack of talent. Well, this is Conference USA and not the SEC so the Driskel-types become big fish in little ponds. He's a blue chip athlete who doesn’t receive enough credit for his ability to make things happen with his feet. Obviously anything can happen, but WKU is not good enough to run the Bulldogs out of the building. I think you get a full throttle Driskel wire to wire and I also think he will be forced to make some plays with his feet adding even more value to his game.

    Running Backs

    Kenneth Dixon
The choice between Dixon and Leon Allen is a close one (on FanDuel) and I wouldn’t blame you for going the other way. Both guys are expensive and both guys are the most dangerous offensive weapon for their respective teams. So while I don’t think there is much difference between the two in terms of fantasy value for Thursday's showdown there is one difference I'm banking on in my selection. Dixon is an NFL talent whereas Allen is not. Since the Philadelphia Eagles didn’t hire me as their Director of Player Personnel you should probably take my Dixon endorsement with a grain of salt. That being said, and this no slight on Allen, but if Dixon had the WKU offense to operate behind I have no doubt his career numbers would be more impressive than they already are. This game should be wide open and although La Tech has capable receivers KD is far and away the workhorse for the Bulldogs. Dixon finished last week's game with 109 yards rushing and 65 yards receiving along with two touchdowns, one on the ground and one through the air. Decent stats, but more impressive when I tell you Dixon was pulled from the game with 12 minutes left in the 2nd quarter. So he racked up 174 total yards and two touchdowns on a mere 11 touches in just over one quarter of play. 11 touches people, 11; imagine what he can do when he gets 30 touches and that’s not a stretched number for this game. I expect a lot of Dixon.

    Wide Receivers

    Western Kentucky/ LaTech Receivers
It's really difficult to recommend any particular guy from this matchup considering price will likely be the deciding factor of which receivers from this game makes your roster. You could possibly take a shot with Miami receiver Rashawn Scott, but he seems like just as much speculation at a higher price compared to the guys from WKU/La Tech. This game figures to be the highest scoring tilt on the docket and quite frankly I think Vegas' total of 65 is too low for these teams. There is still some uncertainty with Jared Dangerfield as he looked fine in warmups last week, but ultimately did not play. If he is out again it opens the door for Nicholas Norris to pick up some extra targets again. If JD does play I would recommend avoiding him due to his price and the uncertainty of his health. I mean his injury hasn’t even been disclosed so it could be anything from a foot blister to amputation from a firework display gone wrong. The La Tech receivers, Taylor & Turner, flip flop pricing on the two sites so you can naturally hedge by playing the cheaper guy on each site. Your best bet is to stick with receivers from this game and plug in the guys that fit with the rest of your roster.

    Tight End

    Tyler Higbee
He's the TE to target and it's not particularly close. Higbee has real potential in an otherwise dead slot and at 3700 on Fanduel he's arguably a better play than most of the receivers from a value standpoint. I think you can actually make a real strong case to play him on DK as well given how tight the money is over there. After Higbee the only guy I would consider is Nate Terry, but he's just a lawn dart.
