Welcome to the daily fantasy hockey picks article for DraftKings, FanDuel, and DraftPot for Tuesday, November 10, 2015. We have a large 12 game slate on Tuesday giving us multiple options at the high, mid and low tier. With some teams struggling to score early in the season we are seeing some lines being adjusted by coaches. This is something that we should monitor closely as a lower tier player in salary can take a big jump in value going up to a line with a star player.

We are now a few weeks into the season and there are some advanced stats that I am going to start to incorporate into my analysis each night and I want to go over what the stat is and how it can be predictive in fantasy hockey.

The first stat I am going to start using is iCorsi/60 or CF/60. Corsi has been used in hockey as a proxy for puck possession as their currently is no metric available to track a player or teams actual possession time. The NHL has tested technology that will soon be incorporated but for now Corsi will have to do. It measures a player or teams shot attempts during a game. A Corsi event during a game can be 1 of 3 things. A shot on net, a shot that misses the net, and a shot that is blocked. On the team level it is measured as Corsi For and Corsi Against or more commonly as CF%(Corsi For/(Corsi Frr + Corsi Against)). For team purposes we are looking for teams above 50%. On the player level we will be using CF/60 which gives us a look into how much an individual player is attempting shots. We are looking for players who are attempting above average(approx. 10 CF/60) Corsi events per 60 minutes of ice time.

Lets now dig in to the matchups and find some core plays for Tuesday night.

GOALIES

Jonathan Quick - LA Kings vs. ARI *PROBABLE*
DraftKings - $7,500 FanDuel - $8,900 DraftPot - 4.56 DPPG
After a stretch where he recorded six straight wins and didn't allow more than 2 goals in a game he went cold for two straight games. He rebounded on Saturday with a win and now faces a matchup at home vs. the Coyotes playing in back to back games on the road. Nice discount off the top options, especially on FanDuel.

Andrei Vasilevskiy - Tampa Bay Lightning @ BUF *CONFIRMED*
DraftKings - $7,800 FanDuel - $8,400 DraftPot - 4.34 DPPG
He was confirmed starting tonight for Lightning this morning and makes a great play in any format. He has started the year going 2-0 with a .939 save percentage and seems to be getting all the offensive support as the Lightning have scored 4 goals in each of his starts this year. He comes into a mathcup at home vs. the Sabres who are ranked 26th in goals per game.

Also Consider - Roberto Luongo - Florida Panthers vs. CGY

CENTER

Nathan MacKinnon - Colorado Avalanche @ PHI
DraftKings - $7,500 FanDuel - $7,100 DraftPot - 4.85 DPPG
He now has points in five of his last six games and is taking a ton of shots in the process. He is currently ranked 29th in the NHL with 17.9 CF/60. The Avs travel to Philadelphia for a game vs. the Flyers who are coming off a shutout vs. the Jets. Don't let that fool you though as they are ranked near the bottom in defense for the season. This should be a high scoring game with a ton of fantasy poitns.

Jason Spezza - Dallas Stars vs. TOR
DraftKings - $5,900 FanDuel - $6,400 DraftPot - 3.45 DPPG
He has been inconsistent with the production so far this season making him a GPP play only. He has nice upside on the leagues 2nd ranked offense in a great matchup vs the Leafs on Tuesday and comes in at a nice discount from their top line. He is ranked 25th in the league averaging 18.3 CF/60 and is getting a ton of powerplay time to aid in the upside.

Also Consider Jack Eichel - Buffalo Sabres @ TB

WINGERS

Jamie Benn - Dallas Stars vs. TOR
DraftKings - $8,100 FanDuel(LW) - $9,700 DraftPot - 5.88 DPPG
The Stars top line of Benn, Seguin and Sharp has been the most productive lie in the NHL to start the year and I find myself stacking at least two of those three every game they play. They always provide multi point upside and this will especially be the case Tuesday vs. the Leafs. Toronto is allowing 3 goals per game and is ranked 21st in penalty kill while the Stars are ranked 2nd on the powerplay. Look for another strong outing form the Western Conference leaders on Tuesday.

James Neal - Nashville Predators vs. OTT
DraftKings - $6,300 FanDuel(RW) - $6,400 DraftPot - 4.72 DPPG
After a hot start to the year he has now gone 3 straight games with no points. While this isn't a strong case for tonight, I can see this pushing his ownership down making him a great play. During the cold streak the shot attempts have not gone away, averaging 5 per game and has also added 6 PIM(FanDuel scoring). He is due for a break out game and is in a nice spot Tuesday vs. a Senators team ranked 21st in goals allowed per game.

Tyler Toffoli - LA Kings vs. ARI
DraftKings - $5,900 FanDuel(RW) - $5,700 DraftPot - 4.01 DPPG
He makes a great stacking option with Carter as the offense flows through their line. They lead the team in points and get the lions share of the powerplay time. Toffoli is averaging 16.4 CF/60 on the year and has multi point upside needed to win a large field tournament.

Also Consider - Johnny Gaudreau - Calgary Flames @ FLA

DEFENSE

Roman Josi - Nashville Predators vs. OTT
DraftKings - $6,200 FanDuel - $6,300 DraftPot - 4.00 DPPG
Has been a top fantasy option on the point this year and a very consistent cash game play on DraftKings. He is ranked 7th in blocks among defensemen. He is tied with James Neal for the points lead in Nashville and is averaging 12.5 CF/60. Get him in your lineups tonight.

John Klingberg - Dallas Stars vs. TOR
DraftKings - $5,200 FanDuel - $5,700 DraftPot - 3.83
He comes in with huge upside almost every time out at these prices. It won't be long before he is $6,000+ on DraftKings and FanDuel so we need to take advantage of the value while we can. He has 15 points in 15 games and is good for over a block a game and over 2 shots on net. The Stars are a great team to stack Tuesday in a home contest vs. the Leafs ranked 26th in defense.

Also Consider - Mark Streit - Philadelphia Flyers vs. COL
