Welcome to the daily fantasy hockey picks article for DraftKings, FanDuel, and DraftPot for Sunday, November 22, 2015. It's a light Sunday lineup with 4 games going, starting at 1PM EST with the Kings and Hurricanes, so make sure to get your lineups in early. We have 2 teams playing the second leg of a back to back (VAN/SJ) today.

Lets now dig in to the matchups and find some core plays for today's games.

GOALIES

Cory Schneider - New Jersey Devils @ VAN
DraftKings - $7,100 FanDuel - $9,100
Schenider makes a great play tonight for those looking for security in the goaltender spot. He comes in at a good deal on DK, but a bit pricey on FD. Tonight he'll stand between the pipes against a Vancouver team playing the second game of a back to back sporting a 5-2 record away from home and an overall sterling .926 SV %. He's surrendered 2 or fewer goals in his last 8 outings, albeit giving up 3 to Ottawa his last time out. Look for a good bounceback performance against a tired Canucks team.

Jonathan Quick - Los Angeles Kings @ CAR
DraftKings - $7,600 FanDuel - $8,900 

Quick comes into play well-rested against a Carolina team he pitched a 40sv shutout against earlier this season in one of his, and his teams', best games of the year. Quick also seems to play better away from the friendly confines of home, sporting a 3-1-0 record and a .923 SV % on the road. Carolina comes in ranked near the bottom in G/G, SH/G and PP%, making quick a very strong start on a short slate of games.

Also consider - Martin Jones - SJ @ CLS

 

CENTER

Jeff Carter - Los Angeles Kings @ CAR
DraftKings - $6,300 FanDuel - $7,800 

Coming off an electric performance against Detroit scoring 2 goals (including a SHG), Carter comes in at a relatively good value across the board and provides a solid floor given the offense tends to run through him, leading to a steady amount of shots and apples. He also plays much better away from home this season, nearly registering a goal per game and putting in 11 pts in 7 games. Carolina's a team in freefall having lost 5 in a row, don't expect LA to be the end of that streak.

Brock Nelson - New York Islanders @ MON
DraftKings - $4,300 FanDuel - $5,800 

Nelson comes in at a surprisingly low hit against the cap across the board given his production recently and the exposure to the Islanders top line including Tavares and Okposo. With 8 points in his last 5 games including 5 goals (2 of which came against MON just two days ago), Nelson will be a thorn in Carey Price's side once more. On a short slate day where you can be looking for some mid-range players to allow you to grab a few stars, Nelson will be one many will take and you won't want to be left out.

WINGERS

Brendan Gallagher - Montreal Canadiens vs NYI
DraftKings - $6,100 FanDuel - $5,700 
Gallagher keeps increasing in a price, but provides the production to back it up. Riding a 7 games points streak, Gallagher will bring his production and exposure to the top line including Pacioretty and Plekanec at a discount over those players. He makes for a great start on FD and he's already on the board against the NYI this year, tallying a goal just 2 days ago in a game where the NYI had to pull Halak.

Mike Cammalleri - New Jersey Devils @ VAN
DraftKings - $5,000 FanDuel - $7,200 
Cammalleri makes for more of a DK play because his price is much lower than the others and against a VAN team playing the second game of a back to back, he makes for a solid value line stacking option with Henrique and Stempniak. With 7 points in his last 6 games, a history of better production on the road and a tired VAN team, look for Cammalleri to make an impact.

Lee Stempniak - New Jersey Devils @ VAN
DraftKings - $3,700 FanDuel - $3,400 
Whether you stack the NJ top line in your entry or not, Stempniak is worth consideration for the value. With 8 points in his last 10 games and everything which applied to Cammalleri applying here, he has to be included in a top pick to give you production and exposure at a high value allowing for additional stars.

DEFENSE

Brent Burns - San Jose Sharks @ CLS

DraftKings - $7,200 FanDuel - $7,300 

This pick doesn't take much of a rocket scientist to figure out if you're going to pay up for a Defenseman. Burns basically becomes an extra forward when you draft him because of his ability to join the rush and his strong point shots on the power play. Coming off a 2G performance against Pittsburgh last night, Burns looks to be on a hot streak and the CLS goaltenders have seen a lot of pucks end up behind them. This is a strong matchup even on a back to back for SJ.

Jeff Petry - Montreal Canadiens vs NYI

DraftKings - $3,900 FanDuel - $4,400 

Petry provides great value and won't be a sleeper to many much longer if he continues his production. Starting the year at a much lower price, he's come to the attention of many people looking to grab a value defenseman just as Demers, Savard and Martinez have. I wouldn't expect another 2G game out of the wily blueliner, but his nose for the puck has the confidence of his team and he provides a solid floor for his low price.
