Welcome to the daily fantasy hockey picks article for DraftKings, FanDuel, and DraftPot for Tuesday, December 1st, 2015. After a quiet Monday night, the NHL schedule is busy on Tuesday with 10 games on the slate. When looking at the last days the hottest teams in the league(who are playing tonight) are the Dallas Stars(8-2), San Jose Sharks(7-3), Arizona Coyotes(7-3), and Chicago Blackhawks(6-2-2).

The Colorado Avalanche & Vancouver Canucks are playing on back to back nights and both teams are on the road Tuesday. The Avs are also playing their 3rd game in four nights and could be running on tired legs. Lets now dig in to the matchups and find some core plays for Tuesday night.

 

GOALIES

Jake Allen - St. Louis Blues vs. FLA *CONFIRMED*
DraftKings - $7,700 FanDuel - $10,000 DraftPot - 5.14 DPPG
He is an elite play on DraftKings where he will only cost 15% of cap space vs. 18% on FanDuel and 17% on DraftPot. He is still a good play on the other sites as the Blues are -210 favorites at home on Tuesday. He has been great this year with a 11-4-2 record and .930 save percentage. He has wins in four of his last 6 games and those two losses both came in overtime. Get Allen in your lineups on Tuesday.

Antti Niemi - Dallas Stars @ CGY *PROBABLE*
DraftKings - $6,900 FanDuel - $8,500 DraftPot - 5.78 DPPG
He has picked up wins in two straight games in starter Kari Lehtonen's absence due to injury. It appears as if he will return to start on Thursday giving Niemi another start tonight on the road in Calgary. The Stars have been hot lately with 8 wins in their last 10 games and come in as -130 favorites making Niemi a good pick in any format.

Also Consider -Petr Mrazek - Detroit Red Wings vs. BUF

 

CENTER

Henrik Zetterberg - Detroit Red Wings vs. BUF
DraftKings - $6,400 FanDuel - $7,100 DraftPot - 2.13 DPPG
He is a good play on DraftKings & FanDuel where he costs about 13% of cap space and an elite play on DraftPot where he will only cost 7% of cap space. He is getting close to 20 min of ice time a game and over 3 min of that on the powerplay. The Detroit offense hasn't completely found their powerplay since the departure of coach Babcock but it is getting close. Look for a strong game from the Red Wings on Tuesday and for Zetterberg to be front and center.

Alex Galchenyuk - Montreal Canadiens vs. CBJ
DraftKings - $4,800 FanDuel - $4,900 DraftPot - 3.43 DPPG
He came through on Saturday as a pick with 2 goals with 1 on the powerplay. He now has five goals on his current four game scoring streak and in that time also has a +5 rating. He is up on the #1 powerplay unit and taking advantage of every opportunity. Gallagher is set to miss at least 6 weeks so we should expect the production to continue.

WINGERS

Patrick Kane - Chicago Blackhawks vs. MIN
DraftKings - $8,600 FanDuel(RW) - $8,400 DraftPot - 6.30 DPPG
With DraftPot's GM Mode the cost is based on production not a salary which is why he costs over 20% of cap space on that site. On both DraftKings and FanDuel he still costs under 18% of cap pace and makes a terrific play until he comes back down to earth or reaches that 20% plateau. He has now got his point streak up to 19 games and is averaging 16.4 CF/60 giving him an extremely high floor to go with a huge ceiling for the NHL point leader.

Gabriel Landeskog - Colorado Avalanche @ NJ
DraftKings - $7,000 FanDuel(LW) - $7,000 DraftPot - 4.22 DPPG
He has points in 6 of his last 7 games and and is riding a 2 game multi point streak. He plays alongside Matt Duchene & Nathan MacKinnon on one of the hottest lines the past week. He now has 20 points on the year and also 26 penalty minutes which are a bonus on FanDuel.

Bobby Ryan - Ottawa Senators vs. PHI
DraftKings - $5,600 FanDuel(RW) - $6,000 DraftPot - 3.73 DPPG
He is a very consistent option that can be safely in cash games on Tuesday. He has points in 9 of his last 10 games and averages 14.5 CF/60 creating a nice floor nigh in and night out. The Sens are big favorites at home vs. the Flyers who struggle on the road. The Senators also make a nice stacking option in GPP tournaments.

Also Consider - Tomas Tatar - Detroit Red Wings vs. BUF

DEFENSE

Erik Karlsson - Ottawa Senators vs. PHI
DraftKings - $7,400 FanDuel - $8,700 DraftPot - 5.30 DPPG
If you are paying up for a D man on Tuesday there is no better choice than Karlsson. He has put up 26 points(2nd behind Klingberg for D men) on the year including 11 on the powerplay. He blocks shots, takes a ton of shots, picks up penalties, and plays over 4 min on the powerplay. He is the best all around defensemen in the league and enters a great matchup at home vs. the Flyers.

Shayne Gostisbehere - Philadelphia Flyers @ OTT
DraftKings - $3,100 FanDuel - $3,300 DraftPot - 2.56 DPPG
I will use the "Ghost" in almost every lineup until his price reaches at least a 10% of cap space plateau. He currently sits at 6% on both FD & DK and 8.5% on DraftPot. He is taking a ton of shots(16.3 CF/60) and already has 2 powerplay, overtime, game winning goals in his young career. I may be biased as a die hard Flyers fan but this kid is going to be an offensive star in this league.
