Long Ball Targets

Rougned OdorRougned Odor FD 3400 DK 4900
Opponent - NYY (Nova) Park - @NYY
FD - 9.51 DK - 7.68

First on the list we got, Rougned Odor! I know he is most famous for punching Jose Bautista, but this kid has some power (not just with his punches, but with his bat as well). This season he sports a .216 ISO against right-handed pitchers. Not only do I like his power, but I also like that he will be going up against Ivan Nova. Nova has had a rough going in 2016. He is coming into this contest with an ERA over five and a 1.42 HR/9 rate. I know he's a ground ball pitcher, but he's struggled keeping the ball low in the zone which has hurt him a ton. Look for Odor to have himself a day going up against the struggling righty.

This game will take place at Yankee Stadium, so look for Odor to take advantage of the short right field porch.

Evan LongoriaEvan Longoria FD 3600 DK 4700
Opponent - BOS (Rodriguez) Park - @TB
FD - 10.51 DK - 8.07v

It's Longo Dong Day ladies and gentlemen! I'm all over the Rays today as they crush lefties and will be going up against streaky southpaw, Eduardo Rodriguez. Let's start off by talking about Longo. On the year, he owns a .354 wOBA to go along with a .255 ISO. It's safe to say the Longoria we were all accustomed to seeing a few years ago is back! He is quietly having himself a nice year and will be going up against Rodriguez, who is on the opposite end of the spectrum. He is coming into this contest sporting an ERA and FIP over six (yikes). He's off to a rough start since coming off the DL, so go ahead and have yourself a night, Longo!

So yeah, baseball season! And we've got some goodies you can take with you. At the end of the post, we have our MLB eBook that you really ought to check out before setting even a single daily fantasy MLB lineup. It's free, below.

  1. Love the call on rougie I had him when he punched Joey bats I feel like we should have got some type of MMA scoring for that it was definitely a significant strike at minimum

  2. haha! Should be a rule where you get +10 points if your player lands a punch

  3. Right on, Nick. My crystal ball says Hosmer too.. Might need new batteries! Thanks, man.

  4. Nice call! Now, will they let the game finish!?
