Welcome to the daily updates and injury news article. We'll try and update it right up to line-up locks with as much information as comes across our desks. Let's get to it!

Last night's picks can be found here, so you can wrap your mind around what you need to be looking at before lineups lock tonight.

By the way - we keep our projection system updated with all of the changes as they occur throughout the day right up until lineup lock. Every day. If you want access to that system so you can cut out a lot of the research element, click the button below!

What We Know

Isaiah WhiteheadIsaiah Whitehead is probable against the Rockets.
Whitehead is expected to return to action tonight against Houston after missing Thursdays game with a left knee sprain. If he does indeed go look for him to start sending Spencer Dinwiddle back to the bench. With Jeremy Lin still out, Whitehead should see a good run of minutes but would really only be serviceable as a separation punt in a large tournament.
Dwyane WadeDwyane Wade is out against Memphis.
Wade has been on a hot streak lately, but the Bulls are being careful not to overwork him, giving him the night off for the second game of the back to back again, just as they did against the Wizards earlier in the week.

Kristaps PorzingisKristaps Porzingis does not expect to play against The Raptors today.
Porzingis is listed as a game time decision, but indicated yesterday that he did not expect to go today in Toronto as he is still dealing with his achilles injury. Lance Thomas would likely draw the start in his absence.

What We're Waiting to Know

Zach LavineZach Lavine is questionable against the Mavericks.
LaVines hip has kept him out of 2 games already, and the Timberwolves will evaluate him today to determine if he can go against Dallas. If he misses again Brandon Rush would get the start at the 2.

The "Every Lineup" Guys

James HardenJames Harden
Two of the top 5 teams in pace factor meet up tonight in Brooklyn. This means James Harden will get a lot of looks against a Nets team that just doesn't play defense. It's very rare that I will give an argument for fading Russell Westbrook, but you're getting Harden for close to a thousand dollars less with a much higher floor. Austyn forecasted a triple double in the first half and I completely see that as a possibility. If anyone can do it, It's Harden, if any team would allow it, it's the Nets. The blowout concern is a factor, but if the game is out of hand it will be due to the beards performance. I could consider fading Harden in tournaments due to high ownership and the implied blowout limiting his upside, but I wouldn't recommend it. In cash, I think you have to have him if you expect to win.

Patrick BeverlyPatrick Beverly
Sticking with the same high paced match up, we come to Patrick Beverly. It's hard to consider Beverly a must have type of player right now but everything I said about the Nets up above holds true for him as well. Beverly's price has fallen to it's lowest point since early December. His lingering wrist issues have been affecting his shot but even if he isn't sinking baskets himself. he should get plenty of chances to feed to Harden for assists and have no problem paying value. Plus the decreased salary gives you some relief when working Harden in to your lineup.
