Detroit Tigers vs. Danny Duffy (KC)

I pretty much let the cat out of the bag in the main article as I wrote up the top four hitters in their lineup. Danny Duffy isn't terrible but the Tigers lead the league in wOBA, wRC+, and ISO to name a few against left-handed pitching and even without J.D. Martinez have a ton of power that remains from the right side of the plate. I love the top four in the lineup for sure but also like value plays in catcher James McCann who is now the leader in hitting vs. lefties with a .428 wOBA and 173 wRC+. On a small slate, they could also be a bit lower owned in GPP's as they currently only hold the fourth highest implied run total.

Top Hitters to Target: Miguel Cabrera, Ian Kinsler, Nick Castellanos, James McCann, Justin Upton

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Mike Foltynewicz (ATL)

While the Tigers crush lefties, the Dodgers crush everyone. They rank just behind the Tigers vs. southpaws and also rank Top 5 against righties when looking at wOBA, wRC+ and ISO. They narrowly edge out the Orioles for the top implied run total and get a decent matchup to boot. Foltynewicz has been decent lately but has control issues walking over three batters per nine and has been much worse against left-handed batters(.314 avg/.375 wOBA against). That is music to my ears as the Dodgers have two elite lefty bats in the top four of their lineup in Corey Seager and Cody Bellinger with some value bats down the lineup.
