Houston Astros vs. Carlos Rodon (CWS)

The Astros let us down last night as they were completely shut down by Miguel Gonzalez who went eight innings giving up just one earned run. I won't let a one game sample cloud my judgment on a team that ranks first in the league in overall runs scored(662) and second overall when looking at their performance vs. left-handed pitching. Yes, the matchup is a little tougher than last night as Rodon has way more strikeout upside(11.87 K/9) but he also walks over four and a half batters per nine and gives up home runs(22.9% HR/FB rate) like nobodies business. It is going to be hard to fit all of them in considering most of the pitching is in the upper tier tonight but I think that really helps stabilize the ownership percentage.

Top Hitters to Stack: Jose Altuve, Marwin Gonzalez, George Springer, Alex Bregman

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Anthony Banda (ARI)

Stacking is a little tougher than usual considering there are no teams with an implied run total over 5.5 tonight. I will turn to the Dodgers tonight who lead the majors with 80 wins and sit right behind the Astros when looking at hitting vs. left-handed pitching. They have been scorching hot lately winning 14 of their last 16 games scoring an average of five runs per contest. Tonight they get a plus matchup vs. Anthony Banda who is just two major league starts into his career after posting a 5.13 ERA and 4.67 xFIP in 19 starts in AAA this season. Look for the Dodgers to keep the good times rolling.
