What We Know

Draymond Green is good to go

After being listed as doubtful just yesterday, I think Draymond Green realized who the opponent was. The Pelicans are going to give the Warriors all their worth down low and Green will be very necessary on both defense and offense. It lessens the Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins love to a degree, but they are both guys that are still in cash game consideration for me. I think this game still stays close and there could very well be a lot of fantasy goodness.

Nicolas Batum, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Rajon Rondo, Markieff Morris, Marcus Morris, and Seth Curry will all remain out

These are guys that have been out the first few games and will remain out at least 1 more. Nothing new to see here.

Cody Zeller has been ruled out against the Hawks with a knee injury

This is pretty meaningless news. Zeller played just 23 minutes off the bench in game 1 and we should see those minutes split between Johnny O'Bryant and Frank Kaminsky. Kaminsky is an interesting GPP play, but this game isn't very interesting in the first place.

Zach Randolph participated in shootaround and is expected to return tonight following a dental surgery

Skal Labissiere took over for Randolph and played well in his absence. Labissiere will move back to the bench, but he should still get close to 30 minutes. You can still play him. As for Randolph, he's heavily reliant on points and rebounds. While that seems weird to say, he just does NOTHING else. With his age and him likely seeing closer to 25 minutes, I'm fine staying away until we see a decent sample size of effectiveness.

What We're Waiting to Know

Myles Turner is doubtful to play against the Blazers

Turner is a big piece of this offense, so his absence should give us some opportunity. He played 33 minutes in game 1 against the Nets, finishing with 51 fantasy points. The bulk of his minutes should go Domatanas Sabonis, who will get the start. Al Jefferson will pick up a few, but he's way too old to garner more than 15 or 20 minutes. Sabonis is an interesting GPP play, but you can do better. Jusuf Nurkic will see less resistance down low and I like him a lot against a lowly Pacers interior.

Aaron Gordon is officially a GTD

He's poised to have a breakout season, so it's a bit disappointing to see him get the injury bug this early on. If he plays, you wouldn't be crazy for taking a shot in a tournament. If Gordon misses, I assume Jonathan Isaac will take the start and have a solid game. He is very raw, but minutes against the Nets is very close to a guarantee, especially at his price. Nikola Vicevic and Evan Fournier will pick up some extra shots as well, and they're already great plays in this fast-paced affair.

Marcus Smart is "unlikely" to play, but remains officially questionable

With Gordon Hayward and Marcus both already out, we are going to know exactly who is getting minutes tonight. Outside of Kyrie Irving, who is always going to be in play, Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, and Terry Rozier are all locked into extended minutes. Rozier should see a few less than Brown or Tatum, but the price suggests it. This game against the 76ers is juicy and you're going to want to get some exposure. Jaylen Brown is m favorite of the bunch, but you can take your pick.

Alex Len is expected to return from injury, but is officially questionable

Len makes this interior very cloudy and one you can ignore completely. Tyson Chandler will likely continue to start, but Len is very good and he'll warrant at least 20 minutes. Go ahead and ignore both of these guys and focus on the likes of Bledsoe, Warren, and Booker.

We touched on Love in the main picks article and things haven't changed much. The Bucks didn't acquire any star centers and Kevin Love didn't get injured (yet). Greg Monroe and Thon Maker
will man the center spot for the Bucks and neither will have much fun with Love. Maker, who is still skinny, will have no chance down low. Monroe is just an atrocious defender and he'll be taken advantage of on the outside and paint. Love is now number 2 on this offense and I think he has a ginormous season. His price is still low and we'll look to take advantage in all formats. Nobody outside of Love is a must for me in cash games, so we'll keep it here. Good luck tonight and make sure to hop in the live chat!
