GOALIE

Connor HellebuyckConnor Hellebuyck FD - $8300 DK - $8400
Opponent - ARI
Proj Pts FD - 15.59 DK - 3.9

After an incredible start to the season, Hellebuyck had couple hiccups over the last week with losses to the Habs and Golden Knights where he gave up five goals in each game. I am not at all worried as he sandwiched a huge 33-save win in the middle of those starts vs. the Dallas Stars and now he gets an elite matchup against the leagues worst team. The Arizona Coyotes rank 30th overall in offense(2.32 goals per game), have lost four straight games, and still have not reached double-digit points on the season. Despite the poor performances recently, Hellebuyck enters tonight with a terrific .926 save % and should be a near lock to notch his ninth win of the season. All things considered, he is safe in all formats.

Charlie LindgrenCharlie Lindgren FD - $8000 DK - $7700
Opponent - CBJ
Proj Pts FD - 15.25 DK - 3.8

If you are looking for a potential low-owned GPP value play tonight, take a shot with Charlie Lindgren who has been excellent in Carey Price's absence. He has made four starts, winning three, and has yet to allow more than two goals giving him an elite 1.24 GAA and .964 save % on the season. Tonight he gets a tougher matchup vs. the Columbus Blue Jackets but the Habs are early home favorites as they have started to turn their season around with wins in four of their last five games.

Also Consider: Jonathan Quick(LAK)

CENTERS

Evgeni MalkinEvgeni Malkin FD - $8500 DK - $7500
Opponent - BUF
Proj Pts FD - 13.95 DK - 4.16

The sites have finally caught up and priced Malkin ahead of Crosby and for good reason. He has outperformed him in a big way with 20 points on the season in over two minutes less ice-time per game. The Penguins have been struggling all season and have lost six of their last eight games but they have been able to take advantage of these plus matchups. Tonight they get a home game vs. a Sabres team that is allowing 3.47 goals per game(ranked 28th). For cash games, I like pairing him with his linemate Phil Kessel who takes a ton of shots and for GPP's I love adding Crosby and Hornqvist as they all skate together on the top powerplay unit that ranks 5th overall.

Stack with: Phil Kessel, Sidney Crosby(PP), Patric Hornqvist(PP)

Tyler SeguinTyler Seguin FD - $8100 DK - $7600
Opponent - FLA
Proj Pts FD - 14.55 DK - 4.34

I normally play Seguin in all formats with his elite shot volume(4.2 shots per game) but will reserve him for GPP only tonight as the Stars are playing a second of back to back games on the road tonight after getting spanked 5-1 in Carolina last night. The good news is the floor is high as he averages 4.2 shots per game and the upside is also there as he is averaging point per game this season. More good news is the matchup vs. the Panthers who are giving up 3.81 goals per game ranking 30th in defense this season. To maximize your upside, pair him with Jamie Benn and John Klingberg who he skates with on the top powerplay unit which ranks #1 in the league.

Stack with: Mattias Janmark, Jamie Benn(PP), John Klingberg(PP)

Kyle TurrisKyle Turris FD - $5400 DK - $5700
Opponent - WAS
Proj Pts FD - 11 DK - 3.27

After being traded a little over a week ago, Turris made his first start with the Predators on Saturday and made an impact right away with a goal and an assist in a 5-4 win over the Penguins. He isn't going to provide a ton of shot volume which always make me hesitant to use him in cash games but the upside is there as he is averaging just under a point per game and is clearly motivated being on a Preds team that is coming off a deep playoff run last season. With a price tag in the mid $5K range on both sites, he is my favorite PTS/$ value for GPP formats at the center position.

Stack with: Kevin Fiala, Craig Smith

Also Consider: Erik Haula(VEG)

WINGERS

Blake WheelerBlake Wheeler FD - $8100 DK - $7800
Opponent - ARI
Proj Pts FD - 15.66 DK - 4.6

The Jets sit right near the top of the Western Conference and, offensively, it has been in large part to their top line. Blake Wheeler has become a star in this league before our eyes and currently sits second in assists(18) and third overall in points(23) and the single-game upside has been huge as well with seven multi-point efforts. He now gets another elite matchup vs. the Coyotes who they beat 4-1 on Saturday and rank dead last in defense allowing 3.89 goals per game. Wheeler is my top overall play tonight with his elite PTS/$ value on both sites.

Stack with: Mark Scheifele, Kyle Connor

Evander KaneEvander Kane FD - $6800 DK - $7000
Opponent - PIT
Proj Pts FD - 14.88 DK - 4.35

Kane doesn't quite provide the same elite upside as Wheeler but he also comes at a big discount and is a great core play in a more balanced lineup. One thing he does provide is a very high floor as he is averaging 4.8 shots on goal per game which leads the entire league at the moment. While you would think a matchup vs. the reigning back to back Stanley Cup Champions would be scary for fantasy, keep in mind the Pens are struggling defensively this season allowing 3.53 goals per game which ranks 29th overall. Like Wheeler, Kane is safe in all formats tonight.

Stack with: Jack Eichel, Ryan O'Reilly(PP), Kyle Okposo(PP)

Evgenii DadonovEvgenii Dadonov FD - $5400 DK - $6200
Opponent - DAL
Proj Pts FD - 10.55 DK - 3.09

After being drafted way back in 2007 by the Panthers, Dadonov spent most of his time since then playing in the AHL and KHL(last 5 years) before returning to the NHL this season. He has jumped right into a big role skating on the top line and powerplay unit with Jonathan Huberdeau and Aleksander Barkov and has thrived averaging a point per game. He has also seen an uptick in shot volume recently with 35 shots on goal over his last 10 games. He is safe in all formats on both sites but is a near must play on FanDuel in the mid $5K range.

Stack with: Jonathan Huberdeau, Aleksander Barkov

Also Consider: Claude Giroux(PHI) & Jakub Voracek(PHI) as a line stack in GPP formats

DEFENSEMEN

Ryan SuterRyan Suter FD - $5200 DK - $5000
Opponent - PHI
Proj Pts FD - 11.46 DK - 3.45

Suter hits on almost everything I am looking for in a top defenseman. He provides a solid balance of shots and blocks giving him a high floor and despite the Wild ranking middle of the pack when it comes to offense, he gives us some upside and has 10 points through his first 16 games. Opportunities will continue to be there for the blueliner as he skates over 26 minutes per game and best of all he comes to us with a low $5K price tag on both sites. Fire up Suter in all formats.

Esa LindellEsa Lindell FD - $4400 DK - $3700
Opponent - FLA
Proj Pts FD - 9.82 DK - 2.95

I mentioned earlier that the Stars rank #1 on the powerplay this season. For GPP formats, I prefer paying up for Klingberg who skates on the top unit with Benn and Seguin but if you are looking to go with value at the position, especially in cash games, I suggest Esa Lindell. He has been skating with Klingberg on the top even-strength unit and also gets time on the second powerplay unit. He has provided a decent balance of shots(37) and blocks(20) for a safe floor and also has shown some upside with seven points this season.

Also Consider: Roman Josi(NSH) & Deryk Engelland(VEG)
