Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 11/21/17

Hello hockey fans and welcome to another day of NHL action here at DFSR. Today, we have a tiny three-game slate, but it will definately not be short of excitement, so let's dive right into the picks.

GOALIE

Ben Bishop FD - $8600 DK - $7800

Proj Pts FD - 15.85 DK - 3.96

This pick is more about tonight's opponent and not who is between the pipes for the Stars, although it looks like Bishop will get the start and after two awful performances, he stopped all 18 shots last game in a relief victory. The Canadiens are a mess right now as they just lost 6-0 to the Maple Leafs and they score only 2.38 goals per game, which is second worst in the league. Everything points to a Stars victory this evening and Bishop is my top goalie in all formats.

CENTERS

Sean Couturier FD - $6700 DK - $6600
Opponent - VAN
Proj Pts FD - 12 DK - 3.34

The young Canadian seems to have a permanent role on the top line for the Flyers and he already has 12 goals this season, which is second best among centers and he has a powerplay goal in each of his last two games while firing ten shots on goal. The Canucks have allowed nine goals in their last two games, so fire Couturier up with confidence in all formats.

Brayden Schenn FD - $7100 DK - $6400
Opponent - EDM
Proj Pts FD - 11.53 DK - 3.38

I wrote about this superstar in the making in my most recent article and he came through with a goal on three shots to extend his lengthy point-streak to seven games as he now has an incredible five goals and 10 assists in those seven games and he has nine shots in his last two. The young play-maker plays on the #1 line and the deadly #1 powerplay unit for the Blues and the Oilers are ranked 23rd defensively while allowing 3.15 goals per game making Schenn an elite play in all formats.

WINGERS

Jamie Benn FD - $8200 DK - $7200
Opponent - MON
Proj Pts FD - 14.1 DK - 4.19

Benn and company will be licking their chops tonight as the Habs have allowed 11 goals in their last two games and they are third worst in the league with 3.52 goals allowed per game. The star winger has three goals, an assist, and 10 shots in his last three games and a whopping 25 shots in his last six and he is one of my favorite plays at any position today in all formats against Montreal's third-string goalie.

Brock Boeser FD - $5400 DK - $4900
Opponent - PHI
Proj Pts FD - 11.31 DK - 3.34

The rookie forward has demonstrated some nice skills this season and he plays on the #1 line and the #1 powerplay unit for the Canucks, so move over Sedin Brothers. In his last two games, he has two goals, an assist, and nine shots on goal. Boeser looks like a nice lineup filler today at these cheap prices against an average Flyers' defense.

DEFENSEMEN

Joel Edmundson FD - $4200 DK - $4300
Opponent - EDM
Proj Pts FD - 10.56 DK - 3.09

We love our value here at DFSR, especially when it comes to defense. It allows us to spend up at other positions and Edmundson has value written all over him and he's actually second in the league among defensemen with six goals and third with 58 blocks in only 21 games. In his last three games, he has a goal, an assist, four shots, and seven blocks so lock and load in all formats today.

Darnell Nurse FD - $3900 DK - $3600
Opponent - STL
Proj Pts FD - 7.37 DK - 2.19

This young man has very little upside, but he offers a high floor from a PTS/$ perspective. Nurse had an assist and three shots last game and he has 14 shots and seven blocks in his last four games, so lock him into your cash game lineups.
