Point Guard

Russell Westbrook FD - $11200 DK - $10900

Westbrook has made an appearance in cash game lineups on a day-in-day-out basis for weeks now. He's nearly back to MVP Russ levels, hitting at least 49 FanDuel points in every game since April 1st. The Spurs have been a top ten match-up for opposing point guards all season, and I'm looking to Russ as a great pay-up option if we get as much value as we usually do on huge slates like this.

Derrick White FD - $5800 DK - $6900
Opponent - WAS
Proj Pts FD - 37.37 DK - 37.89

White is embarrassingly cheap on FanDuel for what he's been up to recently. He's been in a lot of weird games recently, which has caused his minutes to be all over the place. We saw Pop's plan for him in close games against the Pels, when White played 37 minutes and scored 39 FanDuel points. His time on ball is increasing as well, which has led to more assists and more points recently. It's a dream match-up with the indifferent Wizards, who have allowed the 5th most fantasy points per game to opposing point guards this season. I love White in any format.

Keep an eye on Delon Wright. I'm writing this before the Kings' Sunday night game, but there's a good chance he fills in for Fox and is way too cheap for his current opportunity.

Shooting Guard

Tyrese Haliburton FD - $6100 DK - $6800
Opponent - DAL
Proj Pts FD - 33.33 DK - 34.2

With Fox out for at least 10 days in the Covid-19 protocol, much of the heavy lifting on offense should fall to Halliburton. This guy was floating around cash game lineups even with Fox handy, so spreading his usage among them is a dream come true for DFS purposes. Dallas plays a slow pace, but their bottom 10 defensive efficiency should allow for plenty of good opportunities for Tyrese to get his. I'm a buyer until the prices move to fairer levels.

Fred VanVleet FD - $7300 DK - $8300
Opponent - CLE
Proj Pts FD - 39.73 DK - 40.11

Hip issues be damned, VanVleet rocketed right back into his old role with a 55.5 FanDuel point performance over 40 minutes of play against the Knicks on Saturday. If he is going to play 40 minutes in a 17 point loss, it's safe to say his floor is a high 30s minute rotation once again. He's got a terrific spot against the Cavaliers, who have allowed the 7th most FanDuel points to opposing shooting guards this season.,p>

Consider Ben McLemore if he winds up in the starting lineup, but be prepared for him to stand out there doing nothing from time to time as well.

Small Forward

Paul George FD - $10000 DK - $9600
Opponent - NO
Proj Pts FD - 46.54 DK - 48.7

I don't usually relish being the guy who's paying $10k for Paul George, but his current situation probably warrants it. In the last two weeks George has played 5 games without Kawhi, and has shot at least 22 shots in each of those games. That's 22% more than his season averages, and if you extrapolate his year to date stats over that kind of usage you have a very attractive big money option. The match-up with New Orleans serves to sweeten the deal, with the Pelicans allowing the 9th most fantasy points per game to opposing small forwards this year.

Bojan Bogdanovic FD - $5400 DK - $6400
Opponent - MIN
Proj Pts FD - 26.08 DK - 28.05

With Mitchell out, Bojan has been an unlikely hero for the Jazz. He's averaged more than 30 FanDuel points over his last seven games, and launched a season-high 20 field goal attempts against the Timberwolves last game. Minny has been one of the best DFS match-ups all season, with the Wolves ranking 3rd in PACE and 3rd worst in defensive efficiency. I like Bojan to roll it back with a vengeance here.

Keep an eye on Cedi Osman. I'm writing this before the Cavs game has played out, but he got the start for Sexton on Sunday and if he plays big minutes he's a shoo-in for cash games.

Power Forward

Tobias Harris FD - $7200 DK - $7600
Opponent - OKC
Proj Pts FD - 42.75 DK - 42.8

Harris has ostensibly been bothered by a sore knee recently, but it's hard to read into his questionable tag too much here. With Simmons out and Embiid legitimately questionable, the Sixers will really need Harris' shot creation here. The Thunder are the legit best match-up in the NBA for power forwards, allowing the very most fantasy points per game to them this year. If Harris gets the start, I'm not going to worry at all about the knee.

Khem Birch FD - $5000 DK - $4800
Opponent - CLE
Proj Pts FD - 27.69 DK - 26.39

We've seen a lot of expensive guys in the article so far, so let's get a little more cheap value. I love Birch as a high floor option - he's hit 23 FanDuel points in each of his last six games. He played 32 minutes out of the starting lineup against the Knicks, and rates to get a start against the Cavs here too with Boucher out with a knee injury. I think we're buying low on Birch here, and am excited to run him until the price increases by at least 10%.

Center

Jarrett Allen FD - $5700 DK - $7000
Opponent - TOR
Proj Pts FD - 36.52 DK - 37.22

While I like Birch for value purposes, I love Allen against the suddenly undersized Raptors. Toronto has just flat out run out of bigs, with the 6'9'' Birch to man the paint. The $5,700 FanDuel price is criminal if Allen is going to play his full rotation, and the 33 minutes he played against the Hornets suggests he'll do just that. Things are closer on DraftKings, but on FanDuel Allen is a no-brainer.

Nikola Vucevic is a fantastic play in his own right, and arguably a better DraftKings play than Allen.
