Point Guard

Facundo CampazzoFacundo Campazzo FD - $5500 DK - $4200
Opponent - HOU
Proj Pts FD - 29.49 DK - 30.04

With Monte Morris out in the Covid protocols, Campazzo picked up the start on Thursday. He didn’t have a ton to show for it with five points and seven assists in his 32 minutes. But even with so much of the offense running through Jokic, I think this is the very low end of expected production at these kinds of minutes. Campazzo’s per 30-minute averages on the points side are a bit higher and I think he has a high enough floor to consider in cash. That’s, in part, because the matchup against the Rockets is such a good one. The DraftKings price is particularly attractive.

Shooting Guard

Bradley BealBradley Beal FD - $8700 DK - $10300
Opponent - CHI
Proj Pts FD - 44.15 DK - 48.23

With Spencer Dinwiddie still out in the Covid protocols, the entire offense will, once again, run through Bradley Beal in this game. Over the last two games, Beal has averaged 24 shots in 35 minutes, putting up huge numbers with 29 points, 10 assists, and six rebounds last time out. He could be in line for similar production here at home against the Bulls. The DraftKings price has corrected for Beal’s usage as the primary creator, but FanDuel didn’t come up enough. I think he will be a very popular play on that site especially.

Will BartonWill Barton FD - $5800 DK - $6200
Opponent - HOU
Proj Pts FD - 36.02 DK - 38.72

With Monte Morris and Aaron Gordon out of the lineup, Barton is asked to shoulder more of the offensive load for Denver. He’s taken 15 and 18 shots respectively over the last two games, dropping 21 against the Warriors on Tuesday. And this matchup against the Rockets is much better considering Houston ranks second to last in defensive efficiency this season while running the third-fastest pace. That makes for basically the exact recipe you want to target in DFS. Barton sitting in the middle salary tier on both sites means he fits into lineups easily and is in too good a spot to fade on this slate.

Hamidou DialloHamidou Diallo FD - $6800 DK - $7700
Opponent - SA
Proj Pts FD - 38.25 DK - 39.43

The Pistons’ roster has really been slammed by the Covid protocols and they are projecting to get anyone from their core group back for this game. It’s meant huge minutes for Diallo in the short term and he’s 34+ minutes in each of the last four games. In that stretch, he’s averaging more than 20 points per game with the last time out the real winner. Against the Knicks Diallo dropped 31 points and added 13 rebounds in a slate-winning performance. The matchup against the Spurs is another good one and I think Diallo gets a lot of run once again. The price is up, but it’s warranted.

Small Forward

Saddiq BeySaddiq Bey FD - $6700 DK - $8200
Opponent - SA
Proj Pts FD - 39.01 DK - 42.77

As mentioned with Diallo, the Pistons are really thin right now and Bey has been running huge minutes. He’s played 41+ in each of the last three and averaged 26 points and nine rebounds in that stretch. I think we can project him for over 40 minutes once again and the usage without guys like Cade Cunningham in the lineup has been excellent. It’s an easy call on FanDuel here where his price hasn’t been adjusted nearly enough. I suppose it’s a bit close on DraftKings, but he really is performing well enough to sustain the price increase there.

Power Forward/ Center

Nikola JokicNikola Jokic FD - $11700 DK - $12600
Opponent - HOU
Proj Pts FD - 65.67 DK - 69.54

Jokic is the clear pay-up option on this slate and I don’t see it as particularly close. He’s having MVP-level type production once again this season with 26 points, 14 rebounds, and seven assists per game. He adds in a bit on the defensive end as well and is just simply one of the best fantasy scorers out there. Considering he’s now facing up against the best DFS matchup in the Rockets, well the decision around who to start at center becomes a pretty easy one. I don’t think in cash there is any reason for a fade. And if the game were to turn into a blowout it’s likely because Jokic turned in a monster line.

Kyle KuzmaKyle Kuzma FD - $6500 DK - $7900
Opponent - CHI
Proj Pts FD - 34.14 DK - 37.26

Kuzma has needed to shoulder a bigger part of the offense for the Wizards over the last two games and he’s performed well all things considered. Against the Cavaliers, Kuzma took 17 shots and finished with 25 points and 10 rebounds, one of his best games of the season. Washington needs him to take a lot of shots once again here, this time against the Bulls. They are very short on individual playmakers on their roster right now and we will see more of the offense run through Kuzma once again.

Marcus Morris Sr.Marcus Morris Sr. FD - $6900 DK - $5800
Opponent - BKN
Proj Pts FD - 32.94 DK - 36.36

If the Clippers can keep it close here, we could see a lot of minutes out of Morris in this matchup. He’s played 38 in each of the last two games putting up 20 and 23 points respectively. He has taken a lot of shots as well, putting up 37 combined in the last games. The Clippers will need both his offense and defense if they are going to stay in the gym against the Nets and Morris’s mid-tier pricing does work on both sites.
