Point Guard

Darius Garland FD - $8700 DK - $9300
Opponent - NY
Proj Pts FD - 38.97 DK - 43.23

With no real superstar player on this slate, we can go a bit more balanced with our build at one point guard that stands out is Garland. Sure, his price has is once again getting up there near a season-high but he has earned it averaging 20.9 points, 10.6 assists, and 44.8 DK/41.5 FD points per game over his last 10 games. The Knicks are a great matchup(13th in def eff, 30th in pace) but we have ourselves a small slate and Garland gets a ton of usage(20.4 shots per game last five) so I am not concerned and will have exposure in all formats.

Chris Paul FD - $10300 DK - $8600
Opponent - UTA
Proj Pts FD - 41.01 DK - 43.02

While FanDuel got a little small-slate, trigger happy with the price on Paul tonight, he is still very fairly priced on DraftKings especially considering how well he has been playing. The biggest thing has been the slight increase in usage as the assist machine has actually taken double-digit shot attempts in six straight and eight of his last nine games and has tallied a double-double in six of those games. Overall, this is a matchup between two Top 10 defenses but is expected to be the highest-scoring game on the slate and this is where my exposure starts, at least on DraftKings.

Also Consider: Caris Levert(IND) if he is cleared to play as both Sabonis and Brogdon are out

Shooting Guard

Chris Duarte FD - $6700 DK - $6400
Opponent - NO
Proj Pts FD - 29.1 DK - 31.67

The biggest news on this slate comes out of Indiana where both Malcolm Brogdon and Domantas Sabonis remain out of the lineup. This will lead to value throughout the rest of the lineup and it starts with Duarte who has started two straight and played 31+ minutes in four straight while averaging 19.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 4.0 assists. The price took a huge jump but can be attributed to the small slate and his recent performance but I am not concerned at all in a near-elite matchup against the Pelicans who rank 26th in defensive efficiency. Fire up Duarte in all formats.

Also Consider: Jordan Clarkson(UTA) could step into a larger role tonight with Donovan Mitchell out and Bojan Bogdanovic questionable with a knee bruise

Small Forward

Josh Hart FD - $6500 DK - $7400
Opponent - IND
Proj Pts FD - 33.57 DK - 36.55
Garrett Temple FD - $3600 DK - $3100
Opponent - IND
Proj Pts FD - 20.56 DK - 21.23

The Pelicans will be without Brandon Ingram on Monday night and that helps justify the rising price tag on Josh Hart. His recent performances also help in rostering him as he comes in having tallied 30+ fantasy points in four of his last five with Ingram in the lineup and went for 45 DK points the last time Ingram was out. That brings me to my top value play on this slate in Garrett Temple who stepped up in a big way when Ingram went down with an injury in late December/early January  28 or more DK points in all three games. If starting, Temple will easily be one of our top PTS/$ values on this slate at near min prices on both sites.

Also Consider: Lugeuntz Dort(OKC) who the system is confident will snap out of a terrible run of shooting over the last three games. He is very shooting dependant so likely best for GPP formats and could also be a bit lower owned. 

Power Forward/Center

DeMar DeRozan FD - $9000 DK - $9100
Opponent - OKC
Proj Pts FD - 45.06 DK - 47.44

Consistency has not been one of DeRozan's strengths, at least from a PTS/$ standpoint, as the Bulls run out a pretty solid starting five. That has changed a bit in the short term as Lonzo Ball has been out which has led DeRozan to get a huge bump in usage averaging 21.4 shots across the five games Ball has been out. There is also a chance Zach Lavine could miss Monday's game which would make DeRozan a stone-cold lock in a plus matchup against the Thunder. Either way, I will have exposure in all formats.

Goga Bitadze FD - $6200 DK - $6200
Opponent - NO
Proj Pts FD - 36.12 DK - 36.09

With Sabonis out the last two games, Goga has gotten his first two starts of the season and has paid off for fantasy in a big way. The big man has seen a lot of usage taking a whopping 26 shots dropping 13 and 16 points in the two games but his biggest contribution has been on the boards as he has racked up 20 rebounds in that time. He is projected to get the start once again and even with a rising price, provides a 5x floor on both sites with upside in a plus matchup against the Pelicans 26th ranked defense. Fire up Goga in all formats.

Also Consider: Jonas Valanciunas(NO) against a Pacers team that is 21st in defensive efficiency and 18th in rebounding and will be without their two best players
