Guards

Ja MorantJa Morant FD - $9900 DK - $9800
Opponent - MIN
Proj Pts FD - 52.27 DK - 55.93

The Grizzlies evened up the series in a game two blowout win on the back of another impressive performance by MVP candidate Ja Morant. He dropped 8 of 16 shots and came just one rebound shy of a triple-double and has now dropped 50+ fantasy points in both games. With the price remaining under $10K on both sites for a player who is carrying his team on his back, I will have a ton of exposure in all formats tonight.

Jalen BrunsonJalen Brunson FD - $8000 DK - $8000
Opponent - UTA
Proj Pts FD - 41 DK - 44.06

We aren't going to know the status of Luka Doncic until closer to game-time and even if he plays there is a strong chance he won't get a full run coming off that calf injury. That means we are clear to fire up Jalen Brunson who has been terrific in Luka's absence playing 40+ minutes in both games and taking an insane 49 shots combined and shooting nearly 50% from the field. Shooting is not all we get with Brunson, either, as he has combined for 15 rebounds and 10 assists in the first two games of the series. Obviously, it will be a bit of a downgrade if Luka plays but Brunson is in play for me either way in game three.

Will BartonWill Barton FD - $6000 DK - $5800
Opponent - GS
Proj Pts FD - 31.64 DK - 34.92

The Nuggets have been manhandled in the first two games and now return home finding themselves in a 0-2 hole. MVP candidate, Nikola Jokic, provides a very solid fantasy floor but at his price it makes lineup construction nearly impossible on this small slate. With that, I turn to Will Barton who comes in the mid-range of pricing on both sites and has been very solid in both games. He has put 33 shots in the two games and also added a ton of secondary fantasy scoring with 16 rebounds and seven assists. He has been a 5x lock this series and even if a losing effort, I see the value for fantasy continuing and it fits my balanced build very well.

Small Forward

Bojan BogdanovicBojan Bogdanovic FD - $6200 DK - $6000
Opponent - DAL
Proj Pts FD - 31.42 DK - 35.62

As always, the small forward position is a tough one so I will take the mid-tier value and ride with Bogdanovic once again. For fantasy scoring, he is very scoring dependent but the good news is that the volume has been there the first two games as he has attempted 35 shots and is shooting a cool 57% from the field. All things considered, he is easily my top play at the tough small forward position.

Power Forward/Center

If you can find enough value on this slate, I have no issue paying top dollar for Jokic who provides a very steady raw points floor but I am personally going a more balanced approach which brings me to the players below.

Draymond GreenDraymond Green FD - $6700 DK - $6700
Opponent - DEN
Proj Pts FD - 34.06 DK - 35.0

The Warriors have comfortably taken a 2-0 lead in the series with 16 and 20-point victories with a very solid defensive effort led by Draymond Green. He acquires most of his fantasy value with those defensive stats and despite not getting a full run in the first two games has been a solid contributor with 39.5 ad 25 DK points. Now on the road in Denver, I am fully expecting the Jazz to keep this game closer which should extend Green's run putting him in play in all formats.

Dorian Finney-SmithDorian Finney-Smith FD - $5300 DK - $5400
Opponent - UTA
Proj Pts FD - 26.19 DK - 28.23

We haven't really dipped down into this $5K range but Finney-Smith is one I will be targeting and fits at both forward positions tonight. The shooting in the first two games is nothing to write home about(39%) but he has played 42+ minutes in both games and contributed in a big way with the secondary stats accumulating 11 rebounds, three assists, three blocks, and a steal. That balanced attack and value price on this small slate is more than enough to put him in my player pool in all formats.
