    Top Targets

    Jordan Spieth
    World Golf Ranking (#9)
    Vegas Odds (16/1)
    Draftkings ($10,400)
    FanDuel ($11,400)

After a promising opening round at the PGA Championship, Spieth's putter let him down(-3.2 strokes) resulting in a T34 and a bunch of min cashes for me(lol). I am going right back to the well as he is back at Colonial CC where he leads this field with some elite course history with a win(2016), seven Top 10's, and no finish worse than T32 in nine trips. While he struggled on the greens, the iron game remained hot as he gained 4.7 strokes on the field on approach which was the fourth straight shot tracker event he has gained four or more strokes. He checks every box and is fourth in pricing on DraftKings so I am going to gamble he figures out the flat stick and is all over the leaderboard here once again.

    Viktor Hovland
    World Golf Ranking (#7)
    Vegas Odds (20/1)
    Draftkings ($10,000)
    FanDuel ($11,200)

Hovland's average-at-best around the green and putting game has led to three lacklustre results(T41 PGA Champ, T27 Masters, T33 Valspar) in a row but it has helped keep his price down at the bottom of this top tier. That is great news as Hovland has been one of, if not the most consistent golfer on Tour going back over a calendar year as he comes in having made 20 of 21 cuts since the 2021 Masters with a win(Mayakoba), seven Top 10's, and 11 Top 25 finishes. He also pops off the page statistically this week ranking 2nd in SG: Approach, 4th in Par 4 scoring, 8th n Birdie or Better gained, and 2nd/5th in Proximity from 175-200 and 200+ yards over the last 24 rounds. Fire up Hovland in all formats.

    Gary Woodland
    World Golf Ranking (#102)
    Vegas Odds (50/1)
    Draftkings ($7,900)
    FanDuel ($9,700)

Woodland is coming off a decent T34 finish at the PGA Championship which could have been a lot better had he not struggled around the green. He is in a good post this week as Tour shifts back to Texas where he ranks Top 10 in this field in my Texas model and has finishes of T9 and T14 here at Colonial over the last two seasons. The iron game has also been strong recently as he ranks(in this field) 10th in SG: Approach and 2nd in Proximity from 200+ yards over the last 24 rounds. At these prices, especially on DraftKings, Woodland is in my player pool in all formats.

    Brian Harman
    World Golf Ranking (#53)
    Vegas Odds (55/1)
    Draftkings ($7,800)
    FanDuel ($9,500)

I absolutely love this mid-range this week and Harman is another one that stands out as he checks almost every single box. It starts with consistency as he has made 11 of his last 13 cuts dating back to the fall season and he has also been consistent here at Colonial making the cut in eight straight including three Top 10's and six Top 25 finishes. The form has been driven mostly by the iron game as he has gained 5+ strokes on approach in back-to-back events and has gained strokes both around and on the green in both of those, as well. All things considered, I will have exposure to Harman in all formats.

    Nate Lashley
    World Golf Ranking (#265)
    Vegas Odds (150/1)
    Draftkings ($7,100)
    FanDuel ($8,500)

Despite the odds to price differential saying he is overpriced, Nate Lashley pops up in every other model I run this week and is one of my top value plays. After missing the cut here in his first two trips, he picked up a T32 last year and now comes in with the best form of his young career. He has now made the cut in six of his last seven events with five Top 20 finishes and has gained 8.3 strokes tee to green over his last two. In this field, he ranks 21st in SG: Approach, 12th in par 4 scoring, and 18th in Birdie or Better. Put it all together, and I will have exposure in all formats.
