Guards

Terry Rozier FD - $7900 DK - $7700
Opponent - WAS

The injury bug has hit the Hornets in a big way to start the season but they did get Terry Rozier back on Saturday and he stepped right back into a major role. He played 36 minutes, took 24 shots and while he shot just 37.5% from the field, he did drain six 3's and put up 39 DK/33 FD points. He should get heavy usage once again on Monday and gets a plus matchup against the Wizards who rank 24th in defensive efficiency and 29th in fantasy points against guards. At a sub $8K price tag, I will have exposure in all formats.

CJ McCollum FD - $8200 DK - $8500
Opponent - IND
Proj Pts FD - 37.54 DK - 38.34

Speaking of good matchups, the Pelicans who have arguably the best one on the board Monday and that is good news as McCollum's price is now comfortably sitting in the mid $8k range on both sites. I am not concerned as this game has a very high 235.5 total as the Pels as head into Indy to face the Pacers who are 5th in pace, 26th in defensive efficiency, and have allowed the most fantasy points to guards. McCollum has also been very consistent lately averaging  23.7 points, nine rebounds, and 4.3 assists over his last three games while posting 40+ fantasy points in each. All things considered, he is a player that will be in my player pool in all formats.

Tyrese Maxey FD - $8000 DK - $7800
Opponent - PHO

De'Anthony Melton FD - $5600 DK - $5300
Opponent - PHO
Proj Pts FD - 35.81 DK - 35.21

This pairing might not have as good of a matchup of the guys mentioned above but the value is still there and it comes down to added opportunities with James Harden out. In his first game out, Maxey took on a huge role taking 29 shots and while he only shot 34% from the field, he dropped 31 points and added seven assists for 44 FD/47 DK points. You have to think the shooting will regress back towards the mean and we know the usage is going to be there. This gives him a nice floor for cash and ceiling for GPP's tonight.

For Melton, he struggled shooting(4 for 18) in Harden's first game out as well but the opportunity was there playing 30 minutes and he provided a very balanced fantasy return with 12 points, nine assists, five rebounds and four blocks+steals. He has also been providing consistent returns for awhile now with 24 or more DK points in five straight while averaging 31.4 per game. Those are numbers we expect from a $6K player so this feels like a nice buy-low opportunity on Monday.

Also consider: Dejounte Murray(ATL) as a core play in all formats if Trae Young were to miss the game

Small Forward

Jayson Tatum FD - $10200 DK - $10200

Tatum is a player that gets overlooked when having the "superstars" discussion but that is completely unfair when you start breaking it down.

It's not even just that monster dunk that stands out, it's the overall consistency so far this season. The Celtics concentrate a lot of their offense around him and Jaylen Brown but it's Tatum who has been the most impressive as one of just eight players to average over 30 points a night. He has also added eight rebounds, 4.2 assists, and 2.5 blocks+steals which has led to an elite fantasy floor of 45 points which he has hit in eight of nine games while also eclipsing 50 or more fantasy points five times. In a matchup against a Grizzlies team that is playing on a back-to-back and ranks 20th in defensive efficiency, I will have exposure to Tatum in all formats.

OG Anunoby FD - $6700 DK - $6200
Opponent - CHI
Proj Pts FD - 34.54 DK - 33.49

The Raptors have been dealing with injuries seemingly every game and while Fred VanVleet is back healthy, Pascal Siakam is now out a few weeks. This should help OG who has thrived with more involvement in the offense taking 19 or more shots in two straight games and is averaging 15.6 over his last five while dropping 39 or more fantasy points in each of those. Those are numbers we normally get from mid $7K to $8k player but we are getting OG in the $6K range. That price is set to skyrocket if these performances keep up so buy-low while you still can.

Power Forward/Center

Giannis Antetokounmpo FD - $11600 DK - $12600
Opponent - ATL
Proj Pts FD - 63.74 DK - 66.88

Giannis is the early favorite to win the MVP leading the Bucks to an undefeated start and once again leads our projections from a raw point standpoint and is easily the safest payup on the slate. Outside of the one dud against the Pistons where he dropped just 45 fantasy points(lol), Giannis has put up 58 or more fantasy points in all other games and is averaging 63 per game on the season. He is second in scoring(31.5 points per game) and rebounding(12.9 per game) and also adds 4.8 assists and 2.5 steals+blocks and now faces a team in the Hawks who is dead last in defending forwards. Giannis is most definitely a building block in all formats tonight.

Tobias Harris FD - $6800 DK - $6600
Opponent - PHO
Proj Pts FD - 36.09 DK - 38.31

I keep going back to the 76ers and it really comes down to price and opportunity. The ceiling here is heavily reliant on the Joel Embiid news but with James Harden also out, I like the floor for cash games at a price has yet to fully adjust to the increase in usage in the offense. Harris has posted 34 or more DraftKings points in all three games without Embiid and in the first game without Harden in there, he dropped 46 DraftKings points. I will have exposure either way but Harris becomes a near lock should Embiid sit. Stay tuned for news closer to lock.

Bol Bol FD - $5900 DK - $6600
Opponent - HOU
Proj Pts FD - 35.62 DK - 36.14

Bol Bol checks a lot of boxes tonight and it start with the matchup against the Rockets who run the 8th fastest pace and rank 27th in defensive efficiency. It has been his teammate, first-overall pick, Paolo Banchero who has taken the spotlight in Orlando but has also seen a more strict pricing increase with that. Bol Bol has taken on a new role and now started five straight for the Magic and despite a dud against the Warriors, has still averaged 29 fantasy points in that time. He is in play on both sites but I am much more interested on FanDuel where the prices is still sitting below $6K.
