Point Guard/ Shooting Guard

Josh Giddey FD - $7700 DK - $7500

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is going to miss another game which means we should see increased opportunity for both Josh Giddey and Isaiah Joe in this one against the Kings. Joe really blew it out of the box two games ago against the Suns when he went 36 minutes, put up 17 shots, and finished with 28 points and seven rebounds. He came back with a 24-point game against these very Kings on Sunday. The price hasn’t climbed enough for his new opportunity and he’s an especially easy play on DraftKings.

Meanwhile, Giddey isn’t going to be a high-usage guy, but the on-ball time alone raises his floor considerably with SGA out of the mix. He went for 18 points, seven rebounds, and five assists last game and his price, in general, is still very much in the value zone. I think pairing both of these guys and possibly Lu Dort is the way to go in cash though there is definitely blow out risk with this game.

Talen Horton-Tucker FD - $5900 DK - $5900
Opponent - SA

With Jordan Clarkson now out for the Utah Jazz and Collin Sexton already on the shelf, the backcourt is starting to look pretty thin for this team. Talen Horton-Tucker has been set in the starting lineup for a few games now and in that time he’s averaging 12 points, seven rebounds, and six assists. It’s not an overwhelming stat line, but he will add stats on the defensive end which does give him some upside at these prices. With the best matchup on the board against the Spurs, this is a pretty easy play especially when you factor in that the Jazz are missing so many players in the backcourt. And along those lines, we will likely see either Ochai Agbaji (FD 3900 DK 3800) or Kris Dunn (FD 4500 DK 3600) in the starting lineup. Either could be solid punt plays.

Small Forward

Lauri Markkanen FD - $8600 DK - $9400
Opponent - SA
Proj Pts FD - 48.16 DK - 52.15

Lauri Markkanen will likely be one of the most popular plays on the slate for Tuesday and it makes a lot of sense. For starters, like we mentioned with THT above, the Jazz are without Jordan Clarkson as well as Collin Sexton meaning there is some usage to go around here. He’s been putting up 20 shots a game basically since the trade deadline and scored 43 and 27 points respectively in the last two. The Spurs are, by far, the worst defensive team in the league this season and they run a fast pace as well. This is the perfect matchup to stack Utah guys and Lauri is the first one to focus on.

Malik Beasley FD - $5200 DK - $4500
Opponent - MEM
Proj Pts FD - 28.99 DK - 32.35

The Lakers aren’t going to have LeBron James or D’Angelo Russell here and we could see major minutes for Malik Beasley on the wing. He’s averaging 15 shots per game over the last two and has dialed up some steals as well. If you think the minutes push into the low-to-mid 30s in this game then he is definitely a value on DraftKings. And we can consider him on FanDuel as well.

Power Forward/ Center

Anthony Davis FD - $11000 DK - $10300
Opponent - MEM
Proj Pts FD - 56.76 DK - 57.76

The Lakers are in big trouble now with LeBron James set to miss significant time due to a foot injury. They are on the edge of the play-in as it is and really had very little room for error. This puts the whole scenario in jeopardy. But they should still have some fantasy relevance here and Anthony Davis is likely to be playing major minutes going forward. He’s coming off a 30-point, 15-rebound game and 20+ shots per contest going forward is in the cards. This isn’t a great matchup against the Grizzlies, but they have been getting killed on the glass without Steven Adams in the lineup.

Walker Kessler FD - $7800 DK - $6700
Opponent - SA
Proj Pts FD - 41.9 DK - 41.2

Look, we recommended all of the other Jazz so why stop now? It’s just too good of a matchup so even on a bigger slate of games, stacking these guys especially with the number of dudes they are missing, makes a ton of sense. Kessler has 12+ rebounds in four of the last five games and is a complete block machine. He is among (if not *the*) best shot blockers in basketball which really raises the fantasy floor, especially on FanDuel. I like the price on both sites.

Daniel Gafford FD - $6000 DK - $4500
Opponent - ATL
Proj Pts FD - 33.88 DK - 34.3

This is a bit risky because the Wizards often can’t be trusted with the minutes for their starters outside of Bradley Beal and Kyle Kuzma. But without Kristaps Porzingis last game, Gafford ran 31 minutes and went for 15 points and 11 rebounds. He could be in line for that kind of run again and the DraftKings price is way too low if it’s the case.
