That means spending up at guard will be pretty easy. The Hawks can clinch the play-in with a win tonight and there’s a world where they are still fighting for the 9th seed which would make at least a little difference. Jalen Johnson is back which does take a few shots off the board, but it’s still tough to fade Dejounte Murray as long as he’s running the show. Foul trouble buzzed off the minutes last game, but he should be in the 40-ish range as long as the game stays moderately close. The Pistons are one of the best matchups on the board. Anthony Edwards FD - $9300 DK - $9400Opponent - TORProj Pts FD - 48.57 DK - 52.28 The Timberwolves also draw a great matchup against the no-defense Toronto Raptors and are big favorites in this game. Unlike some of the other guards, Anthony Edwards is a bit more dependent on his scoring output, which makes him a bit riskier. But the matchup is elite, the Timberwolves are double-digit favorites in the game, and the floor should be high enough at these price points. His scoring is down over the last four games thanks, in part, to shooting 1-24 from three in that stretch. That simply won’t last. Damian Lillard FD - $9000 DK - $8800Opponent - MEMProj Pts FD - 47.97 DK - 51.91 After losing last night, it does look like Damian Lillard will be back for the Bucks, with the possibility that Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton could sit out for rest. Even with Lillard working his way back from injury if he was running the show then the price isn’t enough to really worry about. He’s two games removed from taking 29 shots in the double-overtime loss to the Lakers. And over the last month, he’s averaging 19 shots, 24.5 points, and 8.4 assists per game with the Bucks at relatively full...

That being said, it’s such a good matchup for Luka Doncic and the rest of Dallas that we have to strongly consider playing him in cash even at these high prices. He’s triple-doubled in eight of his last ten games, averaging 32/10.6/10 over the month of March. It’s an elite run, unlike much else we’ve seen from a fantasy perspective. If there are any savings at all throughout the rest of the slate (and there will be), then Luka makes as high floor a play as you can make. De'Aaron Fox FD - $9600 DK - $9300Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 50.52 DK - 53.35 If you don’t want to pay through the nose for Luka and can stomach the fade, then De'Aaron Fox and the Kings guys are in as good a spot as you can get for a DFS slate. They play the Wizards, who aren’t only the worst defensive efficiency team in the league but also run the fastest pace as well. If the game can stay close (a big “if”), then Fox should see high 30s minutes, putting up shots in the high teens. He’s had some ceiling games of late for sure, and this matchup is just too good to pass up. Miles McBride FD - $5200 DK - $4700Opponent - DENProj Pts FD - 28.16 DK - 30.23 Miles McBride got the start last game with OG Anunoby back on the shelf and should again here on Thursday. In true Tom Thibodeau fashion, Deuce went out and basically ran the entire time. He played 47 in regulation, finishing with 29 points on 9-13 shooting. Now, it should be mentioned that there was very little else to speak of, tallying just two assists and a rebound in all that time. And over the last month or so, he’s averaging a crazy 34 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists per game. A true triple-double every single night has him making sense even at these crazy prices. Fred VanVleet FD - $8600 DK - $8600Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 47.21 DK - 50.2 The Rockets are still without Alperen Sengun and will be for the foreseeable future. That’s left a lot of production for the dudes who remain with Fred VanVleet, getting major minutes and usage in the short term. His shots per game are up about 15% and over the last three, he’s averaging 20 points, 10.7 assists, and five rebounds. Sure, the price has come up, but it’s in line with production. Now, he gets the league’s worst defense in the Washington Wizards who are playing shorthanded. This is a very easy play. Jalen Green FD - $7900 DK - $8100Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 43.09 DK - 47.09M Similarly, Jalen Green has become a much more reliable fantasy threat in the short term with Sengun on the shelf. And over the last month, the dude has seen a steady diet of minutes and shots. He’s averaging almost 25 points per game in that stretch, taking more than 20 shots in each of his last two games as well. Green can heat check with the best of them and the price on both sites is still totally reasonable considering the context and the matchup. SGA has put himself in the MVP discussion by averaging 31 points, 6.3 assists, 5.7 rebounds, and 3.1 steals + blocks. It’s an overwhelming line stacked with a game that could be a track meet. Jalen Brunson FD - $8900 DK - $8500Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 45.97 DK - 48.49 The Thunder get to play the Pacers, and the Knicks run up against the Wizards. Washington is one of the best DFS matchups around, running the fastest pace (tied with the Pacers) while also ranking second-to-last in defensive efficiency. It’s the perfect meeting point when trying to round out DFS rosters. Jalen Brunson is coming off back-to-back 30-point games in the last two and is averaging career-highs in points and assists. Sitting below $9K on both sites, he’s a cash game play for sure. Kevin Huerter FD - $5500 DK - $5200Opponent - INDProj Pts FD - 30.85 DK - 33.39 We will need some cheaper options for this slate in order to roster the SGAs and Brunsons of the world. Kevin Huerter (mostly) fits the bill here, coming in the $5K range on both sites. He’s reentered the Kings’ starting lineup for the last two games, playing 39 and 26 minutes, respectively. Foul trouble bit him a bit last game, but in general he’s been solid, putting up 23 shots in that span. With a fast-paced game coming against the Pacers, the shot volume should be there for Huerter who definitely needs to knock down threes in order to hit value. They got off the epic losing streak and have started a new one. The Pistons are the second-worst defense in the league and really can’t stop anyone. Meanwhile, Fred VanVleet has seen the usage tick up over the last couple of games, taking 19 and 22 shots, respectively. He’d seen things really dip before that, averaging just 10.25 shots per game over the previous four. But seeing as how this is a smash spot for the Rockets, I’m willing to trust the short-term sample and the opponent to have FVV in the cash game mix. The price is right on both sites. Tre Jones FD - $1 DK - $6200Opponent - CHAProj Pts FD - 29.24 DK - 31.4 Tre Jones was a popular play last time out. Now that’s he locked into the starting point guard duties for the Spurs. It was a bit disappointing, finishing with 11 points, five assists, and two rebounds, but that was in large part because the minutes were buzzed off in a San Antonio blowout of the Pistons. Here, things should remain closer against the Hornets who are also a good matchup, playing the third-worst defense in the NBA. Presumably, Andre Jackson will join the starters here. And though he isn’t exactly a fantasy dynamo, the minutes should be enough to keep him a value at his current price points. He doesn’t shoot at all, but with no Lillard and more minutes, he should (fingers crossed) get there by contributing in other areas in the stat line against a weak Jazz team. And then there is Malik Beasley, who got his minutes iced last game, but they were in favor of Andre Jackson being paired with Damian Lillard. That isn’t a concern here with the latter out and Payne not around. I think Beasley is another value, especially if the usage ticks up some here with Dame’s shots out of the picture. Cody Martin FD - $5100 DK - $5400Opponent - CHIProj Pts FD - 27.67 DK - 28.1 The Hornets have been dealt many injuries this season, and it’s messed with their plans in a big way. Now, with LaMelo Ball and Gordon Hayward out, plus PJ Washington set to miss the game, Cody Martin is going to stick in the starting lineup where he landed last game, playing 36 minutes and going for 13 points, five assists and a couple of rebounds. He isn’t going to get a ton of usage in this offense, sharing the court with Terry Rozier and Miles Bridges. But the minutes should be high enough to warrant a cash game play at his salaries. Jayson Tatum and Kristaps Porzingis are both questionable. If they sat against the Pacers then Jaylen Brown (FD 8500 DK 8200), Derrick White (FD 8000...
