When breaking down the top stats I use a combination of my own cheatsheet and the tools over at FantasyNational.com.

    Top Tier Targets

    Abraham Ancer
    World Golf Ranking (#12)
    Vegas Odds (22/1)
    Draftkings ($10,400)
    FanDuel ($11,800)

The top tier is loaded this week but like many(looking at FanShare Sports) I am very high on Abraham Ancer who checks every single box. This is his first start of the fall season but finished up last year with a T9 at the Tour Championship and tallied three Top 10's in his final four events including a huge win at the WGC St. Jude Invitational. In this field, he ranks 11th in ball striking on the back of an elite iron game(10th in SG: APP, 4th in Prox) and putter. It's the putter that really has him stand out above the rest of the top tier for me as he is easily #1 in this tier putting on Bentgrass. Ancer also returns to the Shriners with Top 5 finishes in two of the last three years. All things considered, he is my top overall play this week in all formats and I also like sprinkling some outright bets at that #.

    Si Woo Kim
    World Golf Ranking (#44)
    Vegas Odds (40/1)
    Draftkings ($9,000)
    FanDuel ($10,300)

It is going to be close between Si Woo and Ancer for top-owned play this week and it's easy to why. Like Ancer, Si Woo comes in with terrific form, especially to start the fall season as he has tallied a T11 and T8 at the Fortinet and Sanderson Farms Championships.

In those two events, he has been terrific across the board in terms of the Strokes Gained stats and now returns to the Shriners where he has made the cut all four trips including three Top 25's and a career-high T8 last year. All things considered, Si Woo is my favorite PTS/$ option in this top tier.

    Mid Tier Targets

    Mito Pereira
    World Golf Ranking (#83)
    Vegas Odds (50/1)
    Draftkings ($7,800)
    FanDuel ($9,800)

After a trip to the top tier in pricing a week ago, Pereira is back in a more comfortable price range at the Shriners. His putter let him down last week(-4.7 strokes) but with another very strong ball-striking performance(+7.8). he was able to snag a T31 to not completely ruin our lineups. Looking at my custom model on Fantasy National, he ranks 2nd in SG: Ball Striking, 7th in SG: Approach, 14th in proximity, 4th in opportunities gained, and 15th in birdies gained. All things considered, Pereira is my top PTS/$ play in the entire field.

    Sahith Theegala
    World Golf Ranking (#369)
    Vegas Odds (80/1)
    Draftkings ($7,500)
    FanDuel ($8,400)

After finishing the Korn Ferry Tour season with back-to-back Top 10's Theegala has carried that over into his rookie season on the PGA Tour. It started with a T47 at the Fortinet Championship which could have been so much better had he not lost 4.1 strokes putting. He carried that excellent ball-striking into last week gained another 3.7 strokes and this time found the cup early and often with the putter(+3 strokes putting) and ended up with his first career PGA Tour Top 10 finish. I think the hot streak continues and while a Top 10 would be great, I will gladly take a Top 25(ish) at these prices. I will have exposure in all formats, especially on FanDuel where he really stands out from a Vegas Odds to price differential.

    Value Targets

    Mark Hubbard
    World Golf Ranking (#230)
    Vegas Odds (275/1)
    Draftkings ($6,100)
    FanDuel ($7,800)

I absolutely love stars and scrubs with this strong field and Hubbard's price makes it easier than ever on DraftKings. While the long-term ball striking(92nd on my sheet) doesn't stand out, he has been much better in the short-term ranking 35th in this field last 24 rounds and has not only made the cut in five straight and 10 of his last 11 events, he also has Top 20 finishes in three of his last four. At just $100 over min price, I will most definitely have exposure in all formats.

    Ian Poulter
    World Golf Ranking (#50)
    Vegas Odds (80/1)
    Draftkings ($7,000)
    FanDuel ($8,000)

Adding to that stars and scrubs build in the value range is Ian Poulter who is a +24 in terms of odds to DK price differential. He missed the cut in his last outing at the BMW Championship on the Euro Tour but looking at the PGA Tour, he has made the cut in eight straight and 11 of his last 12. He finds a ton of fairways, is excellent around and on the green and that combination gives him a very high floor and at his price, also has a ton of upside.
