Point Guard

Anfernee Simons FD - $6900 DK - $7000
Opponent - OKC
Proj Pts FD - 34.48 DK - 38.69

With Damian Lillard out over the last month, it has been Simons stepping into a much larger role and boy has he handled it well. In those 14 games, he has topped 33 minutes on the floor in all of them while averaging 24.1 points, 7.0 assists, and 2.7 rebounds for 41 DK/35.2 FD points per game. He now faces a Thunder team who, on paper, don't look like a great matchup ranking 13th in defensive efficiency but they have really struggled in the short term losing 12 of their last 13 games and have given up 111 or more points in four of their last five. The price is still reasonable on both sites and I will have exposure in all formats.

Gabe Vincent FD - $5000 DK - $4800
Opponent - BOS
Proj Pts FD - 24.75 DK - 27.26

Speaking of stepping in for injured teammates, Gabe Vincent has been thrust into a starting role with Kyle Lowry out since mid-January. He hasn't blown the doors off by any means but has averaged 28 DK/26.8 FD points per game which is a solid return for a value guard. The good news is that he has seen an increase in usage in the very short-term taking 15 shots in each of the Heat's last two games and topping 30 DK points in both. He draws a tougher matchup against the Celtics tonight but the price has budged making him a nice high floor PTS/$ play in cash games.

Shooting Guard

C.J. McCollum FD - $7800 DK - $7600
Opponent - OKC
Proj Pts FD - 38.3 DK - 41.08

Like I mentioned above, the matchup against the Thunder looks average-at-best on paper(13th in def eff) but they have struggled mightily in the short-term and we are going to try and take advantage of that. Outside of his first game back, McCollum has returned to form averaging 22 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 4.7 assists and more good news is that the usage has continued to increase as he has taken 20+ shots in back-to-back games coming into tonight. The price is also still a little bit suppressed so I will have exposure in all formats.

Gary Trent Jr. FD - $6000 DK - $5800
Opponent - ATL
Proj Pts FD - 29.77 DK - 31.17

This one is a little more off the board as the Raptors are healthy but even with a rising price, Trent has looked great recently. The return of FVV didn't really affect him against the Heat where he took a team-high 28 shots including a whopping 15 from behind the arc. It was also the third straight game taking 20 or more shots and tallying 40 or more DK points. I am not expecting another ceiling game here but I am riding the hot hand in a plus matchup as the Hawks rank 27th in defensive efficiency and have allowed the 9th most made three's. We don't need to force Trent in cash but he has a ton of upside and should be low owned making him a great GPP target tonight.

Small Forward

RJ Barrett FD - $6500 DK - $7100
Opponent - SAC
Proj Pts FD - 32.19 DK - 35.71

Barrett is not always the most consistent play but checks almost every single box tonight and it starts with the terrific matchup for the Knicks. They will face a Kings team that has lost six straight while giving up an average of 122 points per game in those losses and for the season, they rank 28th in defensive efficiency while running the league's 6th fastest pace. While Barrett is mostly shooting dependant he has added 6.1 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game in January and even with a few duds mixed in is averaging 37.7 DK points per game in that time. All things considered, he is a core playa for me in all formats tonight.

OG Anunoby FD - $8000 DK - $7400
Opponent - ATL
Proj Pts FD - 36.1 DK - 38.16

After looking fairly pedestrian for most of January, OG has really turned up the heat in the short term making it hard to ignore him even with a healthy roster in Toronto. Even take out the three-overtime game against the Heat on Saturday and he is averaging 17.8 points and 7.4 rebounds for 39 DK points per game. While the price is once again rising near its peak, this spot is more about the matchup as the Hawks rank 27th in defensive efficiency. I will have exposure to OG and the Raptors as a whole in all formats.

Power Forward/Center

Domantas Sabonis FD - $9700 DK - $9800
Opponent - LAC
Proj Pts FD - 46.86 DK - 50.93

Sabonis returned to action after a four-game absence and picked up right where he left off with a triple-double(24/18/10) against the Thunder and a double-double(21/15/8) against the Mavericks. With both Malcolm Brogdon and Myles Turner out, he has been a beast getting all the minutes he can handle while averaging 1.3 fantasy points per minute and has averaged over 50 fantasy points per game since the start of January. With a price that is under $10K on both sites, I will have exposure in all formats.

Joel Embiid FD - $11400 DK - $11800
Opponent - MEM
Proj Pts FD - 57 DK - 59.4

If I had to take a guess, I would think Embiid is, by far, the most mentioned player in our articles this season. The price is high but it comes with a sense of security as he has tallied a double-double in seven of his last nine games(missing by 1 & 2 rebounds in the other two games) and has 50 or more DK points in 14 of his last 17 games while averaging a whopping 58.9 in that time. The matchup is on the tougher side tonight as the Grizzlies rank Top 10 in defense but Embiid is practically matchup proof and this is also a pace-up spot for the 76ers adding to the intrigue. Fire up Embiid in all formats as a top payup on the slate.

**Update: Embiid has been ruled out for Monday night putting Tobias Harris in a great spot and also Andre Drummond becomes a top value on this slate**
