Guards

Kevin HuerterKevin Huerter FD - $6200 DK - $5400
Opponent - UTA
Proj Pts FD - 26.78 DK - 29.22

Huerter returned from a three-game absence last night and showed no signs of rust, especially from beyond the arc where he dropped 6 of 12 and ended up with 29 points while also adding nine rebounds and five assists for a season-high 54 fantasy points. While I am not expecting another ceiling game tonight, the upside and opportunity are there as Fox left the game in the third quarter last night and is questionable to doubtful on Saturday. If that's the case, Huerter quickly becomes one of our top PTS/$ value plays, especially on DraftKings in the mid $5K range.

Tyrese MaxeyTyrese Maxey FD - $7400 DK - $7300
Opponent - PHO
Proj Pts FD - 37.39 DK - 40.64
De'Anthony MeltonDe'Anthony Melton FD - $6500 DK - $5800
Opponent - PHO
Proj Pts FD - 30.07 DK - 31.61

The 76ers are also on a back-to-back tonight and like the Kings, could also be without their point guard, James Harden, who has missed two straight games. In his absence, there has been some PTS/$ value to go around starting with Tyrese Maxey who has seen 16 or more shots in four straight games, going back to when Harden was healthy, and has delivered shooting 50% from the field and averaging over 40 fantasy points a game. For Melton, he went through a bit of a rough patch after the break but has heated back up recently dropping 40 or more fantasy points in three of his last four games thanks to a very balanced attack across multiple fantasy categories. We will have to watch the news closely but if Harden is out, both 76ers' guards are in play once again tonight.

Small Forward

Kawhi LeonardKawhi Leonard FD - $10300 DK - $10100
Opponent - NO
Proj Pts FD - 50.36 DK - 52.72

I mentioned on Thursday that Kawhi would receive a big boost with no Paul George and he delivered a near-flawless game dropping 13 fo 15 from the field for 32 points while adding six rebounds, six assists, and four steals for nearly a 60 fantasy point effort. Even with PG13 in the lineup, Kawhi has been very consistent since the break shooting 57% on 18 shots a game while averaging just over 48 fantasy points. It's another tough matchup but combine Kawhi's ability to contribute in all categories and a price that is only slowly rising and you have a plus fantasy play in all formats.

Power Forward/Center

Domantas SabonisDomantas Sabonis FD - $10500 DK - $10200
Opponent - UTA
Proj Pts FD - 50.23 DK - 54.1

There is a monster matchup tonight between two of the MVP front-runners in Giannis and Jokic and while I will try to get some exposure to both in GPP formats, I will go another direction in cash games. Not only do you get over a $1000 in savings from going down to Sabonis at center, you really don't drop that much in terms of PTS/$ value, at least from a floor perspective. Sabonis has been good all year but has been dominant since the break shooting over 60% from the field while nearly averaging a triple-double(20.4 pts, 13.1 reb, 8.6 ass) and providing us over 54 fantasy points a game. Against the Jazz who rank 26th in defensive efficiency, I will be loading up on Sabonis in all formats.

Tobias HarrisTobias Harris FD - $6800 DK - $6100
Opponent - PHO
Proj Pts FD - 31.69 DK - 33.88

When it comes to the 76ers tonight, it really depends on the status of Harden when looking for upside but Tobias Harris is definitely a player who is on the short-list based off his recent form. He came out of the break very inconsistent but has picked it up lately averaging 19.8 points and 6.8 rebounds over his last five games including a near triple-double against the Bulls. In a matchup against the Suns' Top 10 defence, I wouldn't normally consider it but the price is still in check on DraftKings and we have a smaller slate. Fire up Harris in all formats.

Jonas ValanciunasJonas Valanciunas FD - $8000 DK - $7500
Opponent - LAC
Proj Pts FD - 36.83 DK - 40.32

From a PTS/$ standpoint, I think we can consider both centers in this game but it's Big Val who jumps off the page. To say he has returned to form would be a huge understatement as Val comes into tonight with four straight monster double-doubles where he has averaged 20.5 points and 15.8 rebounds for just over 48 fantasy points a game. This game has one of the lowest totals but it's a smaller slate and the good news is that the Clippers have struggled some with centers ranking 22nd in fantasy points against the position. I will have exposure to Big Val in all formats.
