    Course History Targets

    Patrick Cantlay
    World Golf Ranking (#4)
    Vegas Odds (10/1)
    DraftKings ($10,500)
    FanDuel ($11,800)

The PGA Tour returns to Muirfield Village this week and no one ranks better when looking at course history than Patrick Cantlay. He has not only won here twice(2021, 2019) but has finished 7th or better five of his last six trips and is easily ranked #1 in Strokes Gained: Total and Strokes Gained: Tee to Green in the course history model. In terms of current form, Cantlay hasn't won since the BMW Championship last fall but has made 11 of 12 cuts since then with six Top 10's including last week at the PGA Championship. If you are not playing multi-entry this week, narrowing down the top tier is very difficult and as of now Cantlay is my favourite of that group.

    Kevin Streelman
    World Golf Ranking (#141)
    Vegas Odds (150/1)
    DraftKings ($6,700)
    FanDuel ($7,800)

As with every elevated event with softer pricing, we get tons of viable value plays that stand out in one area or another. Streelman is one that stands out in multiple areas starting with his Top 10 rank in my course history model. Despite missing the cut here last year, had made the cut in eight straight trips prior with three top 10's and six top 25 finishes. More good news as he comes in with excellent form in May coming off a T9 at the Charles Schwab Challenge and T18 at the Wells Fargo. He checks a lot of boxes and despite being one of the chalky value plays, is in my player pool in all formats.

    Current Form Targets

    Tyrrell Hatton
    World Golf Ranking (#17)
    Vegas Odds (25/1)
    DraftKings ($9,300)
    FanDuel ($10,400)

If I was to make a list of players who are "due" for a win, Tyrrell Hatton would be right near the top. It has been two years since his last worldwide win(Abu Dhabi Classic) and three years since his lone PGA Tour win at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. Since that win, he has made 48 of 58 cuts(83%) with 15 Top 10's and 33 Top 25 finishes. More recently, he comes in hot with a T15 at the PGA Championship(major), T5 at the Byron Nelson, T3 at the Wells Fargo(elevated event) and gained strokes in every shottracker metric in all three events. Hatton is easily one of my top PTS/$ plays this week in all formats.

    Christiaan Bezuidenhuot
    World Golf Ranking (#78)
    Vegas Odds (150/1)
    DraftKings ($7,200)
    FanDuel ($8,600)

Bez rebounded nicely after a missed cut at the PGA Championship as he gained 3.3 strokes ball-striking last week at the Charles Schwab Challenge ending up with a T21 finish. It is his fifth finish inside the top 30 in his last five events led by some red-hot iron play as he ranks 4th in Strokes Gained: Approach in this elite field over the last 24 rounds. He hits a ton of fairways and greens and that has translated to success here at Muirfield Village as he has finished T37(2021) and T22(2020) in two trips. Fire up Bezuidenhout as a top value play on both sites.

    Stats Model Targets

    Corey Conners
    World Golf Ranking (#29)
    Vegas Odds (50/1)
    DraftKings ($8,300)
    FanDuel ($9,900)

Conners fits the stats model almost every week with his elite ball striking but I always love seeing him Top 10 in my model in these elevated events where he comes with a somewhat value price. He comes in with terrific form making the cut in four of his last five events including a win at the Valero Texas Open and more recently a T8 at the Wells Fargo and T12 at the PGA Championship where he combined to gain 14.2 strokes on the field tee to green. Even better, he gained strokes in every shotlink category in both of those events. He has made the cut here at Muirfield in all five trips with a career-best T13 last year. Conners is a core play for me in all formats.

    Austin Eckroat
    World Golf Ranking (#111)
    Vegas Odds (250/1)
    DraftKings ($6,600)
    FanDuel ($7,900)

It has been a roller-coaster rookie season for Eckroat who, at one point, had missed six straight cuts but has since not only made five of six but tallied two Top 5's along the way. The consistent play has come from a formula of hitting a ton of fairways(5th in FW gained L24), having above-average long irons(25th/28th in Prox from 175-200 & 200+ yards), and making hay on the Par 4's(6th in par 4 scoring). He is another player that really helps guide us to a stars and scrubs lineup where we can stack multiple elite players at the top. Lock and load.
