Point Guard/ Shooting Guard

Cade Cunningham FD - $8500 DK - $8300
Opponent - MEM
Proj Pts FD - 45.06 DK - 48.94

Cade Cunningham is coming off a massive game on Friday, chucking 33 shots against the Wizards on his way to 33 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists. That was against one of the worst teams in basketball, and he gets another matchup like that on Monday. The Grizzlies stink, like Detroit, and we could have a lot of Pistons in cash for this slate. Cade’s price hasn’t moved all that much on either site, and the Pistons clearly are fine running their guy's minutes down the stretch, unlike some other bottom-feeding teams. The Pistons banked so many losses earlier in the season, that they don’t have to go into the tank quite as hard.

Dejounte Murray FD - $10500 DK - $9800
Opponent - CHI
Proj Pts FD - 48.42 DK - 52.33

Even with Jalen Johnson possibly back for this game, it’s tough to fade Dejounte Murray these days with how much he’s playing and how much the Hawks need him to do everything. Murray has played 40+ minutes in regulation in four of the last six games, putting up more than 20 shots (including 44! againnst Boston), and averaging 27/9 over the last month. In terms of floor, he has one of the highest ones going on this slate. The price is up there for sure, but there are a few ways to save here on Monday.

Jaden Ivey FD - $6400 DK - $6100
Opponent - MEM
Proj Pts FD - 33.36 DK - 35.88

It was encouraging to see the 37 minutes for Jaden Ivey on Friday against the Wizards. Getting that kind of run out of a bad team at this point in the season actually does mean something. He ended up going 5-17 from the field, which you don’t love on an efficiency level, but love on the overall usage front. The price sits in the mid-tier which does help when constructing lineups, and you get so many of the Pistons’ shots by stacking Cade Cunningham and Jaden Ivey on this slate.

Small Forward

DeMar DeRozan FD - $8600 DK - $8500
Opponent - ATL
Proj Pts FD - 43.33 DK - 44.94

DeMar DeRozan has been on a scoring tear of late, averaging 28 on lock over the last five games, putting up more than 20 shots and playing some of the better minutes in the league. Atlanta is the 27th-ranked defense in the league while also playing the 5th-fastest pace in the league. The Bulls are still “fighting” for seeding in the Eastern Conference play-in game, though they might be locked into the 9th seed at this point. I really like his price on both sites and he has one of the higher floors around because of the usage and minutes.

Kris Murray FD - $4700 DK - $4600
Opponent - ORL
Proj Pts FD - 26.07 DK - 27.28

The Blazers completely stink, of course, but they are also down bad when it comes to injuries meaning a guy like Kris Murray is playing a ton. Even in a 60 point loss (you read that correctly), Murray played 42 minutes when it was all said and done. It took him that long to get 11 points, five rebounds, and four assists, so he needs every minutes. But you just don’t get that kind of run at this price tier. So we have to likely plug our noses and click the button.

Power Forward/ Center

Jalen Duren FD - $7500 DK - $7200
Opponent - MEM
Proj Pts FD - 42.02 DK - 45.11

Stacking Pistons? Oh yeah. Jalen Duren feels like a borderline lock on this slate against a Memphis team that completely stinks and is all over the players with roster and rotation. Duren is coming off a 20-point, 17-rebound game against the Wizards. And he’s double-doubled in seven of his last eight games. The blocks and steals can sometimes come in bunches as well. I think he will be a popular play on this slate, and for good reason.

Jabari Walker FD - $4500 DK - $4400
Opponent - ORL
Proj Pts FD - 28.98 DK - 31.05

Much like Kris Murray, Jabari Walker appears locked into the starting lineup and big minutes in this iteration of the Blazers. Even with DeAndre Ayton back last game, he played 35 minutes in the loss. That was the good news. The bad news was just how little he did everywhere on the court. Walker finished with four points, three rebounds, and two assists in that time. That’s nearly impossible in this day and age, but here we are. Even with the lack of production (understatement) I still think it’s worth it to run Walker in cash games.

Brandon Clarke FD - $5000 DK - $4000
Opponent - DET
Proj Pts FD - 26 DK - 25.98

Brandon Clarke is back and playing around 20 minutes a game for the Grizzlies. While not a huge number, the price on DraftKings is totally affordable. And we could see the run increase here as well. He’s averaging 10 points and five rebounds with 1.5 steals + blocks through those first two games. He was a chalkier play last time the Grizzlies could played and that could happen again here.
