Sick deal.   Point Guards Langston Galloway - FD 4800 DK 4300 DFSTR 4800 Langsanity cooled off just a tad last game against the Magic. But just a tad. He still saw 32 minutes and his price hasn’t come close to catching up with his opportunity. It doesn’t look like Calderon will be back for this one, though to be honest, I’d probably play Galloway even if Jose was around. It’s really just the difference of him playing the one or the two. He is seeing big minutes at very cheap prices. He’s putting up double digit shots per game whether Melo is there or not (a good sign) and should see plenty of run in this one. Update: The Knicks/Kings game has been postponed Mo Williams - FD 5800 DK 6000 DFSTR 5500 After a three game stretch of just horrible shooting, Mo got off the schnide last night against the Hawks with a 20/7/6 line that more than paid the day. He’s a solid option tonight again against the Thunder though there is of course some blowout risk. If the game even stays a semblance of close, Mo is locked into big minutes at the point. His price is still low thanks to that shooting rough patch and I think you can rather safely buy him here. Dante Exum - FD 3700 DK 3500 DFSTR 3000 Still coming in at close to the minimums for a dude running the point for the Jazz. He’s seen a nice minutes increase thanks to the new starting gig and the Jazz have been running sets with both he and Burke on the court at the same time. Exum has been steadily paying these prices since his promotion and with the amount of run he’s getting I’d say he’s a safer cash game play. The pace of play in Boston makes it even more enticing as he should see a volume increase. I think he’s a bit safer than Williams relative to price, though probably doesn’t have the same upside. Russell Westbrook - FD 10700 DK 10300 DFSTR 8000 If you want to spend up here tonight, Russell is...

And now - for the next month - you can get access to our Football projection tools AND our baskeball projection tools for the same price! Sick deal.   Point Guards Damian Lillard - FD 9000 DK 9400 DFSTR 7500 He’s the big money play of the day and for me it isn’t really that close as long as Aldridge is still out. They were almost run out of the gym early last night, but crawled back into it against Phoenix. And the Celtics aren’t the Suns. Lillard’s usage rate is off the charts when the big guy sits and Lillard is pretty much options 1 and 1A in terms of the Blazers scoring. They have other guys you can play of course, but Lillard should be a staple in your games. The Celtics play at a fast pace and will allow a fair amount of volume to opposing point guards who score about 6% more than league average against them. This is an easy one. Derrick Rose - FD 7200 DK 7300 DFSTR 6200 He’s been picking up his game of late and went through a nice stretch where it really looked like he was finding his groove in the offense. The price has come up a bit of late and the matchup against the Spurs isn’t exactly ideal, but on this slate there aren’t many other point guard values (relative to price) that I’m in love with. Tony Parker - FD 5700 DK 5800 DFSTR 5500 I suspect he will be a big start because the price is cheap and he had a huge game on Tuesday. I’m a little worried about the minutes getting jacked around as the 32 he saw the other night are the exception not the norm for him. But there’s no denying the price is enticing here.   Shooting Guards Wesley Matthews - FD 5700 DK 5700 DFSTR 5000 As it was last night, this pick looks a hell of a lot better if Aldridge sits again (as I suspect he will). I’d be fine playing Matthews even if Aldridge were in there, but dude looks even better if a bunch of Blazer shots are suddenly gone from the lineup. Boston has been solid this season against shooting guards thanks in part to Avery Bradley, but...

Sick deal.   Point Guards Damian Lillard - FD 9000 DK 9500 DFSTR 7500 Our system doesn’t love him here, but it hasn’t fully grasped that Aldridge is out tonight. When Aldridge is on the court Lillard’s usage rate is about 24. When the big guy is gone? Damien’s rate goes up to a whopping 36. In what should be a high volume game against the run and gun Suns, Lillard could put up a million shots. His price tag is high but I still think you are getting the money in safer considering the circumstances. Langston Galloway - FD 4000 DK 3600 DFSTR 3500 How many people in the world, Galloway included, would have thought about three weeks ago that this guy would be near the top of the list of value plays on a given DFS day? Zero? That’d be my guess. But here’s the thing: he started at the two last game against the Pelicans, played more than thirty minutes and 21/5/3. That’s a healthy line and is impressive because he was able to get up 14 shots in a game where Melo also played. I think he sticks in the starting rotation for now and has a great matchup against Philly. His prices are still low across the industry and this is a price + opportunity situation we love. John Wall - FD 8600 DK 9200 DFSTR 7800 Wall’s been struggling (fantasy-wise) a little of late and has seen his price really come down in the short term. This is a fantastic time to buy the guy even in the matchup against OKC. While they are about league average in allowing scoring and assists to points guards, playing Wall here is mostly about the price. With such a big slate, you’ll be able to work multiple expensive pieces into your lineups. The value is there on Wall and his sick passing. Mo Williams - FD 6100 DK 6200 DFSTR 5200 A rough game against Charlotte on Monday shouldn’t have you worried about buying Mo in this spot. He’s locked into big minutes at the point (as long as Rubio is out, which you’ll...

Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings and Draftster 1/20/15 A new year, but the NBA is still here. And we are here every single day, to providing you with all the NBA picks you need to make literally a million dollars at Daily Fantasy Basketball. Enjoy! Ready to make the leap and get access to the exclusive projection system that produces these picks? Sign up now and get a free 3 day trial to our lineup construction tool for FanDuel and DraftKings. And now - for the next month - you can get access to our basketball projection tools! Sick deal. This is a totally brutal slate. You have the Spurs and Nuggets who jack their guys minutes around like crazy (albeit for different reasons), the Thunder who have two top end guys and a bunch of spare parts, and the Heat who don't have much that you feel safe playing. If you were ever going to take a night off, this might be the one to do it.   Top Plays Russell Westbrook - FD 10600 DK 10200 DFSTR 8300 If I had to take just one big money player today it would be Westbrook. And yes, I know when I am saying that I am essentially choosing between him and Durant. It's not easy to choose of course. And I didn't want to just give you both guys because that would be too easy. Our system has Westbrook as a clear points/$ favorite over KD. Miami has been torched by point guards this season in the scoring department with opponents scoring at 5% more than league average from the position. Westbrook is of course other-worldly and should be able to dust whoever the Heat put on him. Meanwhile, Miami and Deng have been above average against small forwards. I get that this isn't always a perfect way to determine value as dudes like Durant and Westbrook are much more than just static position players. But I do think Westbrook has the better part of the matchup and there are other small forward options whereas point guard is very thin. Tim Duncan - FD 8200 DK 8500 DFSTR 8000 It's always weird getting bigger money in on a guy like Duncan considering the Spurs' tendency to just sit their starters or play them reduced minutes. But on the short slate I think I can make the case for Duncan here. For starters, this is a one and done for the Spurs. Their big minutes question marks come on back-to-backs. I think Duncan plays his thirty minutes. And if that is the case then he is getting run against a Denver team that allows worse than average...

And now - for the next month - you can get access to our basketball projection tools! Sick deal. This is an enormous, full day slate with a ton of considerations. I'm going to highlight some of the premium plays and then guys you can consider along the way. Point Guard Goran Dragic - FD 7000 DK 6800 DFSTR 5600 Isaiah Thomas - FD 5200 DK 5000 DFSTR 5600 Any time a team is playing the Lakers you need to consider anyone from that team tasked with dribbling the ball over the half court line. In this case Dragic and Thomas fit the bill and make for sensational points/ $ plays across the board. Thomas is of course more of a GPP play if he were to see more run in a blowout. But Dragic is a great deal considering the Lakers allow 25% more scoring than league average and 17% more assists to opposing point guards. If even if those numbers are insanely noisy, they're still significantly worse than anyone else in the league. I'm consistently targeting this position against LA. Brian Roberts - FD 3500 DK 4200 He was a per minute disaster the other night in getting the start for Kemba Walker. It wasn't pretty. But it looks like Kemba will sit again and I'm going back to Roberts. The minutes were there and the Hornets don't have anyone else to turn to. He's still a minimum-priced player who should see 30 minutes. That's all you know and if I get the word that Walker is definitely out again I won't hesitate to play Roberts again. Mo Williams - FD 6300 DK 6300 His price has climbed thanks to some higher ownership nights as well as one epic performance. He is wasn't great against Denver the other night, but he's still playing insane minutes for Minny and has a nice matchup against Brian Roberts and a weaker Charlotte squad. The scoring can be there on the right nights and he's dishing out enough assists the keep the floor higher. He's still a value even with the price climb. John Wall - FD 8700 DK 9300 While the Sixers have actually done an...
