Daily Fantasy Football Picks for Week 10 – FanDuel, DraftKings, Draftday, and Draftster

Posted by on Nov 4, 2014 in featured, Weekly Fantasy Football Picks | 1 comment

Daily Fantasy Football Picks for Week 10 - FanDuel, DraftKings, Draftday, and Draftster Well, if you read last week's picks article, you'll recall that we liked Ben for 6 TDs once again, figured that Matt Asiata would score more TDs than any RB, and that the Chargers would get shut out by Miami. Hopefully you're a first time reader. Did I delete that article yet? Fo' real, tho. Last week actually turned out pretty well at DFSR headquarters - got buried in GPPs thanks to none of our punt receivers coming through, but managed a pretty solid week given the performance of our "play everywhere" guys in Jeremy Hill and Antonio Brown. Hope it turned out well for you, too! By the way - we're prepared to send you a free eBook on how the pros set both daily fantasy basketball AND football lineups, free of charge! Check out the details, and get your copies now! Don't make another lineup before reading this book! Each contains crucial mistakes your competitors, and maybe you!, are making. We also have a new partner with a dynamite football product over at Draftster. They're a forward thinking player in this space, and we think they're destined to make some huge waves. They also have a couple thousand bucks in freerolls every week, and they're still small enough that you can get in on the ground floor. And for DFSR users, they're prepared to offer you a no-strings attached $5 voucher for one of their games - not to mention their standard 100% bonus up to $200. So, I present Aaron Rodgers to you as my safety play of the week. Chicago has given up the...

Want picks for FanDuel, Draftster, and Draftday as well? Check em out. One question I am constantly asking myself is, “Has daily fantasy sports hit its peak?” Based on the revenue projections of FanDuel and DraftKing’s, clearly the sites expect much more participation in the future. As I have mentioned in my previous articles, this is my third year of playing Daily Fantasy sports and every year I see a spike in advertisement and player participation. Recently, I have been playing a lot of poker. I mean a lot. No limit Texas Hold’em specifically, cash game and tournaments. If you didn’t already know, the poker world and the daily fantasy world have melded quite nicely. The competition, the analysis, even the user interface of DraftKings reminds me of a 2014 online poker website (college; those were the days). When playing poker for 8-12 hours in a row, you’ll find yourself in constant conversation about sports; betting lines, the weekend’s big game, the local team’s disappointments (Tampa Bay Bucs and Rays for me). However, every time I bring up daily fantasy to a table of 9-10 players, very little speak up. One out of the ten normally seem to know exactly what I am talking about leaving me to guess they actually have an online account. Another two or three admit to knowing that it exists, but their basic questions show they’ve never actually put together a team. The rest of the table either refuses to take out their headphones or shows genuine interest in something they’ve never heard of before. The fact is that daily fantasy sports HAS NOT reached its peak. In my opinion, not even close. If daily fantasy sports can stay legal under the “fantasy loophole” then I expect to see more and more new players, easier competition, and bigger payouts. I did not post a Thursday article this week for two reasons. Massive amounts of poker being the first while the second was the oddities of last...

Daily Fantasy Football Picks for Week 8 – FanDuel, DraftKings, Draftday, and Draftster

Daily Fantasy Football Picks for Week 8 - FanDuel, DraftKings, Draftday, and Draftster A very weird week in the NFL which had me simultaneously rooting for and against Le'Veon Bell on Monday - ultimately cashing 95% of my cash games and 5% of my GPPs. I feel both gross and great, somehow. I'll stop my ruminating. On to the picks! By the way - we're prepared to send you a free eBook on how the pros set both daily fantasy baseball AND football lineups, free of charge! Check out the details, and get your copies now! It's the simplest daily fantasy football game in the world, and it might be your best bet to cash in without trying to do a ton of research. Last thing! The week 8 podcast is live. Hope you enjoy it!   Quarterbacks Andrew Luck - FD 9900 DK 8800 DD 16300 DFSTR 9000 An off week for Luck compared to what we've gotten used to, but an off week for the game's best fantasy quarterback still looks like 300+ yards and 2 touch downs. Luck easily has the lowest floor of any QB this side of Peyton Manning, and he also has the transcendent ceiling to go with it. Now he's the Steel Curtain, which has been parted by such fearsome opposing QBs as Brian Hoyer and Mike Glennon this season. I especially like Luck here given the lack of the effectiveness of the Colts' running...

One Week Fantasy Football Picks for Scorestreak Week 2

Weekly Fantasy Football Picks for ScoreStreak Week 2 Looking for our picks for traditional salary cap leagues like FanDuel and Draftkings? Click here. DFSR has partnered with ScoreStreak: a new, innovative style of DFS play. Gone is the salary finagling, mixing and matching, and hair-pulling that goes into setting lineups. ScoreStreak simplifies the process in an easy-to-use interface. Employing a prop-pick style, ScoresStreak leagues are specific outcome dependent with three categories: Total Bases, Hits, and for pitchers, Strikeouts. Check out their new promotion coming for NFL season where you can win a new Tesla! Also, new users who deposit through DFSR will get an extra $10 to play with.  And if you are new to daily fantasy football, make sure read our Free Football e-book. Also be sure to sign up for a free 3-day trial to access the MLB and NFL system and spreadsheets that help produce our picks. And give ScoreStreak a try. You'll like it as much as we do. Now go win that Tesla!   QB Touchdowns Drew Brees Brees came up small for us last week, but the three rushing touch downs the Saints scored should be the exception, and not the rule. The Browns allowed almost 400 yards to Ben Roethlisberger, so Brees should have plenty of opportunity to put up some numbers here. Tom Brady Yep! I'm taking Brady over Manning this week. Brady was so embarrassed by last week's performance that this has all the makings of a revenge game for him, Belichick, and what's left of the evil empire. While Minny's D looked great in week 1, they allowed the 2nd most passing yards of any team last year, and I think they don't get quite so lucky against what ought to be a recharged Pats team.   All purpose yards LeSean McCoy With 27 touches and 115 total yards, it is clear that the Birds plan on employing Shady just as actively as they did last year, even if they have Sproles to feed as well. The Colts allowed the 7th most rushing yards last year, and this could be a nice spot for him. Adrian Peterson Not a controversial play, I wouldn't think. The Pats got blown up by Knowshon Moreno, and Peterson is probably just a liiiiiiiiitle bit better than Knowshon is. I do think the Pats will have a solid lead, but that shouldn't stop AD from getting his and then some.   Receptions Pierre Garcon He's a target machine, and if the Redskins are going to play as conservatively as they showed during week 1, Garcon should exceed any reception total you'll need for him. Calvin Johnson It's hard to imagine Stafford getting away from Megatron in this one. A tougher opposing D in Carolina...

One Week Fantasy Football Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings, DraftDay and Draftster Week 2, 2014

One Week Fantasy Football Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings, DraftDay and Draftster Week 2, 2014 Week 1 is in the books, and it was great times here at DFSR central. Last week's picks worked out great, and we're energized that our projection system is pumping out winners. Want to peek behind the curtain and get a taste of this week's action? Read on! By the way - we're prepared to send you a free eBook on how the pros set both daily fantasy baseball AND football lineups, free of charge! Check out the details, and get your copies now! And try out our partner ScoreStreak for a totally fresh take on fantasy football. It's the simplest daily fantasy football game in the world, and it might be your best bet to cash in without trying to do a ton of research.   Quarterbacks An eerily quiet week for Quarterbacks, with only 2 QBs throwing for even 3 touchdowns. I don't think this is any sort of indicator for the future, and I think a lot of QBs will feel like they have a lot to prove. All that said, I'm not taking toooooo much away from week 1 that we didn't already know. As a reminder, I like to spend more on QB in double ups and less in GPPs, simply because QBs tend to be less volatile on a week to week basis. Tom Brady - FD 8500 DK 7000 DD 13200 DFSTR 7700 If you're spooked by Brady's week 1 performance, let me talk you down off the ledge for a second. First of all, Brady aired it out 56 times against a Dolphins defense that was better than league average last year defending against the pass. While he didn't convert that into a huge day, one has to figure...
