It also included some duds as well. Such is life when trying to capture real contrarian upside. We are getting down to the wire in the NFL and it's tough to come out of nowhere at this point. We want to target some players who the public may be a little down on, but who stand to turn in solid performances. QUARTERBACKS Sam Bradford - FD 6700 DK 5300 Opponent- NYG This game has the second biggest opening line of the weekend thanks in large part to both of these teams being disinterested in defense while also interested in playing fast. Sure Chip Kelly was fired this week, though it doesn't appear like that will change the offense too much for Philly. As a team they are running a play every 21 seconds. By comparison the Giants are running a play every 25 seconds (second fastest in the league). The difference between first and second fastest here is the same difference as second and 30th team. This is the long way to say Philly sprints in games. And so do the Giants. Bradford will have a ton of opportunity to pass. The Giants rank 27th in the league in DVOA against the pass. Is Bradford good? No. But he's affordable and in just the right kind of game.   OVERLAY ALERT AND FREE ACCESS TO OUR PROJECTIONS! DraftPot has a guaranteed contest for NFL's Week 17. START YOUR FREE TRIAL Week 17 DFS can be tricky. Some teams are still fighting for playoff spots, some are eliminated, and some may even have an incentive to lose. 2015’s Week 17 will be kinder than most, with most playoff teams still fighting for seeding. The only playoff team that has absolutely nothing to play for is the Redskins, who have the 4th seed in the NFC locked up. They have indicated they may rest players, so act accordingly. There are some other games with no playoff implications where teams are still expected to play their starters, and these games have high over/under totals: Giants-Eagles (51.5) and Saints-Falcons (52.5). Players from these games may be under owned due to fears that they do not have any playoff implications. As a final note, the Browns and Titans are tied for the NFL’s worst record, so both would actually benefit from losing. The Steelers and Colts defenses, respectively, make for interesting GPP targets because of this. QUARTERBACK Eli Manning - FD 7500 DK 5600 Opponent- PHI Manning will close the season against the Eagles, who rank 31st in schedule adjusted fantasy points allowed to QBs. Over their last six games, the Eagles have permitted 300 passing yards and 3.2 passing TDs per game. In Manning’s last six games with Odell Beckham Jr., he is averaging 296 passing yards and 2.5 passing TDs per game. The Giants’ team total is over 27 and Manning has accounted for 89% of their offensive TDs this season. Cam Newton - FD 9100 DK 7500 Opponent- TB Newton will close out his stellar regular season with a matchup against the Bucs, who rank 25th in pass defense DVOA. The Panthers have a team total of 28.8 and Newton has accounted for 84% of their offensive TDs. The Panthers have to win this game in order to lock up the first seed in the NFC. Matt Ryan - FD 7600 DK 5500 Opponent- NO Playing Matt Ryan this season has basically been akin to lighting your bankroll on fire. But if there was ever a time to play Matty Ice, it’s...

Daily Fantasy NFL Football Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings, and DraftPot – Week 16

Daily Fantasy NFL Football Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings, and DraftPot - Week 16 Editor's note: Get ready for Raybon's insightful article on NFL's Week 16! He's done an amazing job breaking down the top plays of the week, but obviously, he could never include every single great play. If you want point projections for individual players? Go ahead and get access to the exclusive projection system that produces these picks. Sign up now and get started with our lineup construction tool for FanDuel, DraftKings and Draftpot. Click here to get started The Vegas lines are telling us there may not be many shootout style games in Week 16, as there is only one game with an over/under above 50 (Jaguars-Saints, which may come down if Drew Brees does not play). There are also three games with double-digit spreads (Seahawks-Rams, Chiefs-Browns, Steelers-Ravens) and another with a 9-point spread (Lions-49ers). As a result, there are a bunch of teams with high individual team totals. This week may not be a great week to combine players from the same game in GPP lineups in hopes of a shootout a la Steelers-Broncos or Lions-Saints last week, but instead focus on loading up on players on the top projected teams of the week.   QUARTERBACKS Cam Newton - FD 9300 DK 7500 Opponent- ATL Newton is tearing up the NFL in his fifth season, leading the league in TD% (7.5%). He has accounted for 83% of the Panthers’ offensive TDs, which bodes well in a game where Carolina’s Vegas implied total is above 27 points. The Falcons rank 23rd in pass defense DVOA and 21st in rush DVOA; they posed no match for Cam two weeks ago, when Newton torched the Dirty Birds for three scores on only 21 attempts. Russell Wilson - FD 8800 DK 7200 Opponent- STL Wilson has been locked in of late. In his last five games, he is averaging 284 passing yards and 3.8 passing TDs to go along with 29.4 rushing yards and 0.2 rushing TDs. He has a 19:0 TD-to-INT ratio over that span. At first glance, the Rams may seem like a tough matchup, but they have permitted 301 passing yards and 2.3 passing TDs per game over their last four games. Seattle’s Vegas implied total is robust 27 points. Blake Bortles - FD 8200 DK 6500 Opponent- NO Bortles has been hovering around top-5 fantasy QB territory (depending on what scoring format is used) all season. Over his last six games, he is averaging 271 passing yards and 2.33 passing TDs along with a healthy 21.2 rushing yards and 0.33 rushing TDs. He has accounted for 92% of Jacksonville’s offensive TDs. Meanwhile, the Saints are...

Value and Sleeper Picks for Daily Fantasy NFL Football for FanDuel, DraftKings, and DraftPot - Week 15 It's another value picks and sleepers article for the 2015 NFL season! With a couple of weeks under our belts, some players are already undervalued on DraftKings and FanDuel. Roles change more rapidly in NFL than they do anywhere else, leaving us a huge opportunity to get to cashing in. Here are some guys that our projection system likes that you might not see elsewhere. We've also got Chris Raybon's Week 15 NFL picks sitting there waiting for you to digest. Want to find more sleepers and potential breakout daily fantasy football stars for the NFL in week 5? We want to target some players who the public may be a little down on, but who stand to turn in solid performances.   QUARTERBACKS Matt Ryan - FD 7200 DK 5700 Opponent- JAC This is an interesting week for Matty Ice and the rest of the Falcons. They come in on a six game losing streak and having lost 7 of their last 8 games. The poop icing was a 38-0 beat down last week by the Panthers. So, yeah, things aren't looking good. But in DFS we are looking for times to buy when public opinion has soured and we can take advantage of pricing. I think that's the case with Ryan. The completion percentage has been there even when things are going wrong and the Panthers are a top notch defense. The Jags aren't. They rank 27th in DVOA against the pass this season and this game has the biggest o/u of the week. He still has two elite weapons in Julio Jones and Devonta Ryan. He's seen a precipitous price drop in the short term and this is a great time to buy. Philip Rivers - FD 7400 DK 5500 Opponent- MIA As Eli Manning proved last week, the Dolphins can be passed on. They rank 31st in the league in DVOA against the pass with only the lowly Saints behind them. The issue with Rivers...

Value and Sleeper Picks for Daily Fantasy NFL Football for FanDuel, DraftKings, and DraftPot – Week 14

Value and Sleeper Picks for Daily Fantasy NFL Football for FanDuel, DraftKings, and DraftPot - Week 14 It's another value picks and sleepers article for the 2015 NFL season! We've also got Chris Raybon's Week 14 NFL picks sitting there waiting for you to digest. Want to find more sleepers and potential breakout daily fantasy football stars for the NFL in week 5? Go ahead and get access to the exclusive projection system that produces these picks. Sign up now and get a free 3 day trial to our lineup construction tool for FanDuel, DraftKings and Starsdraft.     Click here for a free 3 Day Free Trial   Last week's value play article included some real, tournament-winning home runs like Marcus Mariota, Allen Robinson and Scott Chandler. It also included some duds as well. Such is life when trying to capture real contrarian upside. We are getting down to the wire in the NFL and it's tough to come out of nowhere at this point. We want to target some players who the public may be a little down on, but who stand to turn in solid performances. A couple of notes on these picks. They are geared a little more towards DraftKings where, because of pricing range difference, it's a little easier to suss out some value on a given slate. Additionally, remember that these aren't necessarily your super safe cash game plays. There is always a little more risk with these picks than the ones laid out in Chris's Week 14 picks article. QUARTERBACKS Let me start by saying that James Winston, as outlined in Chris's article, is a cheap option facing a putrid Saints' defense. That's definitely an incredible value and you can roll the guy in cash lineups. Eli Manning - FD 7500 DK 6100 Opponent- MIA Eli's completion percentage has been, for lack of a better word, crappy over the last few weeks. Since putting up a cheat code performance against the Saints, he's been erratic. That's caused a price dip over the short term. This week he'll face a Miami team ranked 23rd in DVOA against the pass. This game has the second highest opening over/under of the week at 46.5 as a pick'em. The Giants are throwing on 63% of their plays, ranking 9th in the league. I think this is a good spot for Manning and will...
