This week is another two-event week but for this article, we will be focusing on WGC Dell Technologies Match Play from Austin Country Club. While the event dates back to 1999, it has only been held here at Austin CC since 2016 so that is the data we will be using in terms of course history and the stats model. Speaking of that stats model, I am keeping it pretty simple this week and looking for players who are trending in terms of ball striking, especially with the irons, par 4 scoring, putting on Bermuda greens, and making birdies. More importantly this week, in terms of strategy, is optimizing your lineups based on the complete bracket and possible outcomes.
