Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks Update 2/28/14

It's been a fairly quiet Friday all things considered. Here are a few things that have come up during the day and how they might influence your lineup decisions tonight. Make sure to also check in on our original picks. These are still very much in play.

There is a chance that Goran Dragic will miss the game again tonight. If he does
Ishmael Smith - FanDuel $4,200 DraftKings $4,200 DraftStreet $9,838 would get the start again. Smith makes a fantastic punt option in a fast-paced Phoenix offense with few other ball-handlers on the team. The problem here is the game doesn't start until 10:30. This isn't an issue for late-swap sites, may be too big a risk to take for a 7PM lineup lock.

Though he was originally projected as out for tonight's game, Anthony Davis will now be a gametime call. Annoying. I kind of doubt he plays but that is just speculation. If he doesn't go we had already recommended
Alexis Ajinca - FanDuel $4,200 DraftKings $4,000 DraftStreet $8,402 while
Al-Farouq Aminu - FanDuel $4,100 DraftKings $4,200 DraftStreet $8,249
also could see some increased minutes and volume.

Dion Waiters and CJ Miles are out again tonight, freeing up
Jarrett Jack - FanDuel $4,400 DraftKings $4,700 DraftStreet $9,797 for another potential long minutes run. I especially like his price on DraftStreet and DraftKings where he isn't locked into the PG slot. On FanDuel it's a litter closer though the value is still there.

With Anderson Varejao out again tonight look for Tristan Thompson and
Spencer Hawes - FanDuel $6,100 DraftKings $6,900 DraftStreet $11,964.

Boogie Cousins is suspended tonight. The biggest beneficiaries are probably Isaiah Thomas and Rudy Gay who we already liked in our picks section. You can also bump up
Derrick Williams - FanDuel $4,000 DraftKings $3,700 DraftStreet $5,179 who will start at the four with Jason Thompson moving up to center.
