Cheat sheets for fantasy college football on FanDuel and Draftkings

Listen - it'd be nearly impossible to create a whole projection system for college football, but Casey is willing to sell his cash game lineups through DFSR.

If you want to see how these plays and some others fit into lineups for FanDuel and DraftKings you can purchase a MEGA-CFB pack that includes three FanDuel Thursday lineups, three DraftKings Thurs-Fri lineups, 2 FanDuel Friday lineups, a DraftKings Friday lineup and a monster cheatsheet with analysis on a variety of other plays for $6 by clicking the PayPal button below.

    Quarterback

Quick note: Im very close to calling for a total Taysom Hill fade on DraftKings. Only $400 more lands you Mariota so if you're going to spend big money at QB go Mariota.

    Jaquez Johnson - FD 8000 DK 6400
yes, Mariota and Taysom Hill are fantasy freaks, but their prices cause real headaches later on in your lineup. Johnson comes with some risk, frankly more than I like for cash games, but the lineup flexibility he offers is something you need to strongly consider. If this was a home game I would set it and forget it. Johnson scored four TD's in his two home games, but failed to pass for even 100yds on the road. The away games were against stiffer competition than FIU, but still something to keep in mind. Also, I don’t think FIU has a real raucous crowd – hehe.

    Running Backs

    Donnel Pumphrey - FD 8900 DK 8000
Sure, I get it. He's really good and everyone knows so why am I recommending such an obvious player? Well, at this price you may be tempted to look elsewhere and I'm here to tell you don’t. Your other options carry enough risk that for cash games you need Donnell. Fresno ranks near the very bottom in total defense and all San Diego State does is feed Pumphrey. Find the money, make cuts elsewhere and pony up for the far and away best back on the board.

Nick Wilson & Terris Jones-Grigsby are both interesting plays, but there are usage concerns there.

Running back is a mix and match play on these slates. Our cheatsheet breaks down a number of different plays you can use depending on salary needs.

    Wide Receivers

    Cayleb Jones - FD 6600 DK 6800
Again I feel a little dirty simply recommending the most expensive player at a position, but when you have short slates sometimes the best and most expensive player is indeed the way to go. Receivers are always fickle creatures to try and figure out. Add in a short slate and it gets real difficult to find guys that offer any type of consistency/safety. We all know Oregon scores oodles of points so it kind of makes sense that Jones will see plenty of opportunity playing catchup. Zona hasn’t really proven itself on the road this year so it will be interesting to see how this game plays out. It could get real ugly. Either way the Wildcats will need Jones to try and hang with the Ducks.

    Josh Harper - FD 7000 DK 5400
Fresno is bad, real bad. In fact they have one of the worst defenses in the country. That’s actually good for Harper. Burrell has cemented himself as the starter and the passing game has found a little (a little) consistency. Harper was pretty much a stud last year, but he had Carr throwing him the ball and Adams attracting triple teams all day. Now Harper is the WR1 and seeing more coverage. Still, he offers some safety relevant to price and Fresno should be able to move the ball against the Aztecs.

Consider Deontay Greenberry and Devon Allen as big time home run hitters. But they can be feast or famine so play accordingly.

    Tight Ends

    Pharaoh Brown - FD 4000 DK 3700
If you're not going with Jonnu Smith then Brown is your guy. Oregon has lots of mouths to feed, but I'll take my chances with a guy who plays for a team that scores as often as Oregon does.
