Draftster has a ton of cool stuff going on Now including the Terrell Owens $2500 Challenge and a whole host of Freerolls

Quarterbacks

Aaron Rodgers -$8000
Not exactly hopping out on a limb here with Rodgers, but on a short slate that's totally fine. Chalky-chalk is sometimes the way to go and when the options are limited choosing safety is perfectly acceptable even if the points/$ don't exactly crush it out of the box. Rodgers is facing a Bears team ranked in the bottom third in the league against the pass. The Packers are featuring a number of different weapons in the passing game, especially with the emergence of DaVante Adams. The over under on this game is the highest of the week and I'm happy to get extra money in on the guy if it's going to be a shootout. I don't need to quote stats for you here. Rodgers is among the elite quarterbacks in the league in a game that should be high-scoring. Do it.

Colin Kaepernick - $6600
If you played him last week and got burned rest assured you weren't alone. He's been disappointing relative to projection and our system has been wrong on the guy. But I'm in the firm camp that some of this is a little run bad, especially when it comes to his rushing touchdowns. If you believe that a scrambling and mobile quarterback like Kaep won't run his way into the end zone, then you should stay away. But if you believe there is some regression coming with the rushing TDS, then he could crush these prices. The Saints allow the 27th most passing yards per game so he should be able to find some success in the air. Vegas thinks points are going up in this one too and I think the collective mindset on Kaep is low. That's a great time to buy.

Running Backs

Demarco Murray - $8800
With Romo out the Cowboys are in a rough way. Granted, I think Brandon Weeden will be a tick better this week after taking more reps and of course I think the 'Boys are significantly better if an 80% Romo gets in behind center. Either way though I think it spells a plus for Murray's safety on the week. Last week, against a stout Cardinals' run defense he ran for more than four yards per carry. His lack of carries was more a byproduct of the Cowboys not sustaining drives. Granted the Jaguars have no slouch of late on the defensive side of the ball, but I think the Dallas gameplan will be to lean heavily on Murray and he should pay this salary in usage.

Bobby Rainey - $4800
One way to fit Murray into lineups this week is to play Rainey. This is of course assuming he will be the feature back in the Bucs "offense" this week. But for some of the Tampa deficiencies, Rainey has an ideal matchup this week. The Falcons allow 128 yards per game on the ground and just generally stink. With Rainey we are seeking simply the opportunity at these prices and that's just about it. Granted, I'm encouraged about his success last week, and there is something to be said for fresh running backs coming in and producing at a steady clip. This is a solid opportunity to still buy low on a guy that should be the feature part of the Tampa Bay offense.

Wide Receivers

Julio Jones - $8300
One thing to know about the Bucs is that they stink. And that's the hard-hitting analysis you come here to read. They are bad all around, but especially bad against the pass where they allow more than 285 yards per game. I know Jones is a bit expensive, but he's among the most targeted and talented receivers in all of football going against a brutal defense. He averages more than ten looks per game, and those that follow here know that targets are really the lynchpin for for predicting fantasy success on a week-to-week basis. I think the Falcons, coming off a bye, will want to get him going early and often. I'm running Jones a bunch across all sites and formats this week. Draftster is no exception.

DaVante Adams - $3800
Talk about a guy who's come out of nowhere to become a heavy part of the offense. Some of this could stem from defenses really wanting to take Nelson and Cobb out of the game. The Packers, at this point, really just have too many weapons through the air in terms of fantasy. And guys like Adams scare me off the other two WRs. But his price is choice considering he's seen 14 targets in the last three weeks. of course it's boom or bust territory as the second game he only saw one. But at near minimum/ punt prices I think you can take the risk as it allows you to play some high tags guys in other spots.

Tight Ends

Owen Daniels
I hate tight end this week and really want to spend about the least amount possible. He sat out two weeks ago, but in his last two games Daniels has seen a total of 18 targets. That's a great number for any tight end. And coming at $4200 here is a solid place to buy on safety. Spending up for tight ends this week is -EV in my opinion. But grabbing a low-priced dude who gets looks from Flacco gives the guy a decent floor. The Titans are a middle of the road defense so I'm not scared from that point of view. Again, don't pay big dollars here. Shoot for relative safety and get your money in big everywhere else.
