Point Guard

C.J. Watson - FD 4300 DK 4800 DFSTR 4300
A minutes and opportunity thing and basically nothing more. Watson is far from a great point guard of course. But he has the important thing going for him: minutes. With George Hill still out Watson is seeing more than thirty minutes a night and is coming in a very reasonable/ punt prices. The T-Wolves are allowing 10% more scoring than league average to point guards. Watson can score of course and I think you are getting very safe money in with him tonight.

Mo Williams - FD 5500 DK 5400 DFSTR 4800
On the other side of the ball, this game is all about the cheap point guards. When Williams is playing of late, he is the clear point and getting more than thirty minutes. The Pacers have actually not defended the point guard position well this season which isn't surprising considering they've been without Hill (and a lot of other guys) for a better part of the season.

Jeff Teague - FD 8300 DK 8500 DFSTR 6900
If you want to spend up a little Teague makes a fantastic play as well. He's been remarkably consistent with big time fantasy production of late and that should continue tonight against the Sixers. It should be said that Philly has allowed better than league average scoring to opposing point guards, but the pace of this one should be more than enough to give Teague a higher floor.

Consider Tony Wroten. Also Kyrie Irving gets an obvious bump if Lebron sits again.

Shooting Guard

Kyle Korver - FD 5200 DK 5000 DFSTR 5100
Because of the price, minutes and matchup, Korver will undoubtedly be a high percentage start in the industry tonight. I honestly don't think he's the safest play in the whole world simply because he's prone to some rougher shooting nights and when the three isn't dropping he has a tough time paying. But as I said with Teague (and some other Hawks as you head down the list), Atlanta shouldn't any issues scoring tonight.

Monta Ellis - FD 7500 DK 7200 DFSTR 8300
Monta's price is down a little bit of late thanks, I believe, to some lower ownerships across the industry. He's shown that he doesn't need to only score in order to hit value on a given night and can also co-exist (from a fantasy perspective) with Rondo in the lineup. The Kings are slightly below average in keeping shooting guards from scoring. Makes a nice pairing with Korver on two-SG sites especially if you are saving some at point guard.

Eric Bledsoe - FD 8500 DK 8700 DFSTR 7800
Hasn't been crushing his price of late, but that's mostly because the price has been real high. He's another cash game-type play because he scores his points in so many different ways. Put up a stinker against the Grizz the other night (until 2 OTs started to bail him out some) but look for him to bounce back against a defensively-challenged heat squad (especially if Lebron is out again).

Strongly consider Dwyane Wade against the Lakers

Small Forward

DeMarre Carroll - FD 5300 DK 5200 DFSTR 4600
Oh the Hawks' theme continues. Look, we all know the story with Philly. While they haven't been the defensive train wreck they were last season, it still hasn't been good. They've had particular problems keeping opposing small forwards off of the glass as threes are rebounding 20% more than league average against the Sixers. The assist numbers are also out of the box. Scoring too, though not as much. Carroll's price is more than reasonable and in the right scenario he destroys this number.

Luol Deng - FD 5500 DK 5700 DFSTR 5500
It's a real shame the Heat don't have a definitive point guard we can play with any safety against the Lakers. And it's taken a new record in terms of recommendations to get to a guy playing the Lakers (usually they top the list). But you need to have some exposure to the guys they are playing and Deng offers a nice play at lower cost against them. Deng can be tough to roster because he'll pull some disappearing acts along the way. But the price is too cheap to ignore considering who he's playing against.

Consider Solomon Hill if you think he continues playing in the low thirties in terms of minutes.

Also, if Lebron James is cleared to play I'd throw him in some spots. But he is a must play on Draftster as he is a minimum player.

Power Forward

Paul Millsap - FD 8000 DK 8300 DFSTR 7700
You saw this one coming right? I know you aren't going to be able to start all Hawks tonight. But again, you will want some exposure there for sure. Millsap can really submarine you if he doesn't get his scoring going because he won't pick up tons of ancillary scoring through the blocks and steals. I want to play him in cash games because his multiplier is so high, but man that game log does give me a little bit of pause.

Dirk Nowitzki - FD 7000 DK 6600 DFSTR 8100
Speaking of another guy our system loves, but makes me a little iffy is Dirk. Doesn't have crazy huge upside mostly because the Mavs have a ton of weapons in their starting five. But I can see a scenario where they really want to expose a foul-heavy, defensively challenged Kings' frontcourt. The Kings allow below average stats across the board to opposing power forwards. Dirk doesn't go to the moon at this point, but he's getting the job done.

Nerlens Noel - FD 5500 DK 4800 DFSTR 5600
The minutes have stayed fairly steady over the last five games or so. And if he is seeing thirty minutes of run then I'm considering him on the safer side. The price hasn't corrected totally to this kind of opportunity and chips in enough with the blocks and steals to keep things interesting.

Strongly consider David West against a Minnesota squad that gets blitzed by power forwards.

Center

Hassan Whiteside - FD 5200 DK 5700 DFSTR 3000
Um what? Holy crap did he just go beast mode the other day against the Clippers. Whiteside had put some nice games together so the performance wasn't completely out of nowhere, but chucking up a 23/16 in less than thirty minutes is really something. Word is that he won't start the first half, but will start the second half so I'm not worried about the minutes at all. And this is another way to get safe exposure to the Lakers defense.

Chris Bosh - FD 8400 DK 8500 DFSTR 7300
I much prefer Whiteside from a points/ $ perspective but there are so many really nice cheap options tonight that you are going to need to get the money in somewhere. Playing the four has its advantages against the Lakers and Bosh should be able to exploit either the Davis or Boozer matchup.

Timofey Mozgov - FD 4600 DK 4900 DFSTR 4400
Another solid cheap option though I don't like him as much if Lebron is back. That being said, the Suns have had real struggles with opposing centers this season allowing 12% more scoring that league average. Mozgov should continue seeing minutes in the thirties as the Heat are devoid ofany other real five.

Al Horford - FD 7300 DK 6600 DFSTR 7100
For all of the same reasons I picked his teammates.
