    Fedex St. Jude Classic

    TPC Southwind - Memphis, TN
    Par 70, 7239 Yards

Welcome back to another week of Daily Fantasy PGA Tour Golf. Last week we finished up with another positive week with 9 out of 11 picks making the cut to go along with 4 Top 10's, 6 Top 20's, & 8 golfers finishing T26 or better. As far as cash games go, things have been cruising along nicely. Still waiting to find that GPP Glory and hopefully it will be the US Open Millionaire Maker on Draftkings. Not asking for much. Just a little bankroll booster. Once again I have forgot until now to get in some satellites. Been a crazy couple months with work and June snuck up on me. There are satellites running across all sports to get into the Millionaire Maker so be sure to enter a few of your lineups in them to get in to the big dance cheap.

The PGA Tour and the ST. Jude Classic return to TPC Southwind for a 27th time. The course was built in the Memphis Countryside and has many natural lakes, streams and ponds incorporated into the course. The Par 3 11th hole is very similar to the the 17th at TPC Sawgrass as it is a short Par 3 shot to an Island green. The course itself is quite nice. The tournament, however, is a different story. It lacks top talent as its timing isn't great sandwiched between the Memorial and 2 weeks prior to the US Open. The top names that do show up are looking to fine tune their games for the US Open while some others are still looking to move up inside the Top 60 in the world to gain entry(Bowditch/Donald). The fairways at Southwind are very tough to hit even for an accuracy player so the long hitter will have an advantage as both players will be hitting from the rough 50% or more of the time. This then correlates to looking for guys who are highly ranked in GIR other than fairway. With the course being a Par 70 there are only 2 Par 5's so I will be closely looking at Par 4 Scoring Average as well. As I do most weeks, I also like to factor in Strokes Gained: Tee to Green and Putting.

    • Strokes Gained: Tee to Green
    • Driving Distance
    • Driving Accuracy
    • Greens in Regulation Other than Fairway
    • Par 4 Scoring Average
    • Strokes Gained: Putting

Tier 1 Targets (DK Price $9000-Max)

    Dustin Johnson - $13,000 (Vegas Odds – 6.5/1)
First up this week is Dustin Johnson and for good reason. He has a nice course history here winning in 2012, 10th in 2013, & 24th last year. He hasn't missed a cut in his last 5 tournies and has a Top 10 and 3 Top 20's. He is an elite in driving distance, SG:Tee to Green, and GIR Other than Fairway. He will be looking to get back into Top 5 form for the US Open in two weeks.

    • Strokes Gained: Tee to Green - 9
    • Driving Distance - 1
    • Driving Accuracy - 177
    • Greens in Regulation Other than Fairway - 24
    • Par 4 Scoring Average - 69
    • Strokes Gained: Putting - 117

    Billy Horschel - $11,500 (Vegas Odds – 17/1)
At first glance I thought Horschel might be a bit over priced but upon further examination I don't think the pick is a bad one in GPP this week. He could be low owned due to the higher price tag. He struggled in 2011 and 2012 here with a MC and a 72 but since has a 10th and 6th. He seems to have found his comfort zone at Southwind. He is coming off a T11 at the Memorial and T13 at the Players. He is very good in driving distance and accuracy to go along with above average Par 4 Scoring and excellent putting. Put it all together and he should have a chance to capture a strong finish this week.

    • Strokes Gained: Tee to Green - 96
    • Driving Distance - 44
    • Driving Accuracy - 57
    • Greens in Regulation Other than Fairway - 90
    • Par 4 Scoring Average - 46
    • Strokes Gained: Putting - 28

Tier 2 Targets (DK Price $7500-$9900)

    Shawn Stefani - $8200 (Vegas Odds – 51/1)
My top pick in Tier 2 is by far Stefani this week. He will be the first golfer in my cash lineups this week. He has made 2/2 cuts here in past 5 years with a 7th in 2013. He has missed one cut in his last 5 tournies but also has a Top 10 and a Top 20 in there as well. Most importantly his game fits the course very well. He is Top 60 ranked in 5 of the 6 stats I am looking at.

    • Strokes Gained: Tee to Green - 55
    • Driving Distance - 33
    • Driving Accuracy - 98
    • Greens in Regulation Other than Fairway - 36
    • Par 4 Scoring Average - 23
    • Strokes Gained: Putting - 36

    George Mcneil - $8700 (Vegas Odds – 46/1)
If you are looking for a golfer who has nice current form and is safe for cash games McNeil is your pick. In his last 5 tournaments he has 4 Top 20's and 1 Top 10 and hasn't finished outside of 28th. He has made 3 of 4 cuts in the last 5 tournies here. He is a shorter accuracy player who scores on Par 4's and is a good putter.

      <

    • Strokes Gained: Tee to Green - 73
    • Driving Distance - 122
    • Driving Accuracy - 64
    • Greens in Regulation Other than Fairway - 123
    • Par 4 Scoring Average - 46
    • Strokes Gained: Putting - 32

    Wil Wilcox - $7600 (Vegas Odds – 81/1)
When looking for a value play this week at a lower price with good peripherals look at Wilcox. He played the course first time last year and finished 19th. He is coming off a 22nd at the Byron Nelson and has made 4 of 5 cuts in his last 5 tournies with 2 Top 20's and a Top 10. He has average driving distance and elite accuracy. He is best on tour GIR from Other than Fairway in 2015 and 23rd in Par 4 Scoring Average. It all adds up to a nice GPP play this week and will help you build a solid roster at the top.

    • Strokes Gained: Tee to Green - 70
    • Driving Distance - 76
    • Driving Accuracy - 25
    • Greens in Regulation Other than Fairway - 1
    • Par 4 Scoring Average - 23
    • Strokes Gained: Putting - 53

Tier 3 Targets (DK Price $6600-$7400)

    Charles Howell III - $6800 (Vegas Odds – 67/1)
I will be using Howell in multiple GPP lineups this week as he has been up and down this year. He has missed 2 of his last 5 cuts and hasn't finished inside the Top 30 since a 5th at teh Shell Houston Open. I think this is the week he cracks the Top 30 again. He is elite Tee to Green and is long off the tee. His 4th best GIR Other than Fairway. If he can get his putter on board this week he shouldn't have any trouble making the cut and competing on the weekend. He is 5/5 last 5 years at Southwind and has a 3rd mixed in.

    • Strokes Gained: Tee to Green - 35
    • Driving Distance - 17
    • Driving Accuracy - 197
    • Greens in Regulation Other than Fairway - 4
    • Par 4 Scoring Average - 91
    • Strokes Gained: Putting - 140

    Martin Flores - $6700 (Vegas Odds – 151/1)
A bit of a long shot this week to win but I feel is safe enough to make the cut and be a solid cash play for a low ticket price. He has made his last 3 cuts here with a 13th in 2011. He has made the cut in his last 4 tournaments in 2015 so he has built a bit of confidence lately. He is also elite in GIR from Other than Fairway which I am weighing heavily this week.

    • Strokes Gained: Tee to Green - 97
    • Driving Distance - 39
    • Driving Accuracy - 173
    • Greens in Regulation Other than Fairway - 11
    • Par 4 Scoring Average - 104
    • Strokes Gained: Putting - 108

Tier 4 Targets (DK Pricing $5200-$6500)

    Stewart Cink - $6300 (Vegas Odds – 126/1)
I am really liking the value Cink provides this week. First off he is has made 4 of his last 5 cuts with a Top 20 in there. Last year is the only time he played here in last 5 years and finished 53rd. Combine this with the fact he is 6th this year in GIR Other than Fairway and 46th in Par 4 Scoring Average and you have yourself a golfer who should for sure make the cut and possibly card a Top 30 finish.

    • Strokes Gained: Tee to Green - 92
    • Driving Distance - 59
    • Driving Accuracy - 164
    • Greens in Regulation Other than Fairway - 6
    • Par 4 Scoring Average - 46
    • Strokes Gained: Putting - 75
