Welcome to the daily fantasy hockey picks article for DraftKings, FanDuel, and DraftPot for Thursday, December 3rd, 2015. Tonight we have 8 games on the schedule and two teams(NYR & TOR) are playing on back to back nights. Four teams(COL,NYR,TOR,VAN) are playing a third game in four days. There is a nice mix of high priced studs and mid tier backup starters on Thursday. Lets have a look and find some core plays.

 

GOALIES

Jimmy Howard - Detroit Red Wings vs. ARI *CONFIRMED*
DraftKings - $7,300 FanDuel - $8,100 DraftPot - 3.96 DPPG
The Red Wings looked great through the first half of the last game vs. the Flames and then it all fell apart. A 3-0 lead ended up being a 4-3 loss. Look for the Wings to bounce back at home on Thursday with Howard playing a big role. He has been solid in a time share role with Mrazek giving the Wings a 1 & 1A option.

Pekka Rinne - Nashville Predators vs. FLA *PROBABLE*
DraftKings - $7,800 FanDuel - $8,700 DraftPot - 3.06 DPPG
The Preds broke out of a slump last game in a big way defensively only allowing 15 shots on goal. This limits Rinne's upside but makes him a great play in cash games as the win probability is high if the Preds play solid defense which they have at home so far this year with a 8-2 record on home ice. He is a fantastic play on DraftPot where he will only cost around 10% of your salary cap.

Also Consider -Antti Raanta - New York Rangers vs. COL

 

CENTER

Kyle Turris - Ottawa Senators vs. CHI
DraftKings - $6,300 FanDuel - $7,400 DraftPot - 3.18 DPPG
Great value around the industry and will only cost between 10-13% of your salary cap. He has averaged 13.5 CF/60 which has led to 58 shots on goal for 21 points on the season. He has been very consistent lately with points in 5 of his last 6 games.

Dylan Larkin - Detroit Red Wings vs. ARI
DraftKings - $5,100 FanDuel - $5,300 DraftPot - 3.15 DPPG
He remains a great value at about 10% of salary cap space on all three sites. He is playing top line with Zetterberg & Abdelkader and also logs time on the #2 powerplay unit. He is safe for cash games with the amount of shots he takes and has nice upside for GPP play with multi point ability.

Also Consider Alex Galchenyuk - Montreal Canadiens @ NYR

 

WINGERS

Patrick Kane - Chicago Blackhawks vs. MIN
DraftKings - $8,600 FanDuel(RW) - $8,400 DraftPot - 6.33 DPPG
The point reached 20 last game and the price remains under $9K on DraftKings and FanDuel. In fact in the past 10 games his price has only gone up a total of $300. He leads the league in points(38) and powerplay points(13) and is an elite play at these prices every night.

Daniel Sedin - Vancouver Canucks vs. DAL
DraftKings - $6,800 FanDuel(LW) - $8,500 DraftPot - 5.75 DPPG
He has really turned it up in the last 10 games with 13 points. He now has 28 points on the season with 11 coming on the powerplay. The Canucks are at home to the Stars on Thursday who they have played twice already this year. In those two games, Sedin has four points and a +2 rating.

Jonathan Huberdeau - Florida Panthers @ NSH
DraftKings - $4,600 FanDuel(LW) - $5,600 DraftPot - 2.80 DPPG
Great price for a player who offers a nice floor every game out. He is averaging 12.9 CF/60 which is leading to multiple shots on goal per game. He also adds powerplay opportunities and has put up seven points in his last 10 games. A nice low end option for any format, allowing room for some high end plays.

Also Consider - Kyle Palmieri - NJ Devils @ CAR

DEFENSE

Ryan Suter - Minnesota Wild vs. TOR
DraftKings - $6,000 FanDuel - $4,300 DraftPot - 3.80 DPPG
The Wild are at home to the Leafs who are playing a 3rd game in 4 nights on the road and present a nice matchup for some offense. Suter can provide such offense from the defense position as he has 21 points on the year with 8 coming on the powerplay. He adds over 2 blocks per game which is a bonus for DraftKings but is a tremendous value on FanDuel where he will only cost 8% of your salary cap.

Aaron Ekblad - Florida Panthers @ NSH
DraftKings - $4,800 FanDuel - $5,300 DraftPot - 3.70 DPPG
Has put up 7 of his 10 points on the season in the last 10 days and seems to have found a nice rhythm. In that time he has also had a +2 rating, 10 blocks, and two powerplay points. He is very young at only 19 years of age and is coming into his own as a top pairing NHL defensemen.
