Welcome to the daily fantasy hockey picks article for DraftKings, FanDuel, & Draftpot for Tuesday, December 29th, 2015. We have a big 10 game slate in the NHL tonight. The following teams are playing on back to back nights:

• Montreal Canadiens (Road)
• Detroit Red Wings (Road)
• Nashville Predators (Road)
• Los Angeles Kings (Road)

There is a to of great goaltending options tonight making it a great time for multiple cash game lineups to get exposure to multiple guys. Let's now take a look at some core plays on Tuesday night.

Goaltenders

Jake Allen - St. Louis Blues vs. NSH *Probable*
DraftKings - $7,600 FanDuel - $10,200 DraftPot -  5.58 DPPG

He is the #1 goalie on Draftkings tonight as he will only cost you 15% of your salary cap vs. 19% on both FanDuel and DraftPot. He has picked up wins in four of his last five games and has pushed his record to 17-8-2 on the season with a .927 save percentage. The Blues are home favorites tonight to the visiting Predators who have struggled on the road this season.

Cory Schneider - New Jersey Devils vs. CAR *Probable*
DraftKings - $7,700 FanDuel - $8,400 DraftPot -  4.52 DPPG

He comes in at #2 for me tonight and provides a bit of cap relief on FanDuel and DraftPot from top pick Allen. Schneider will be a GPP play, hinging on being safe in all formats due to the weak opponent in the Hurricanes tonight. The only issue is that Schneider has been inconsistent lately but still owns a .924 save %, making him a viable play tonight at home.

Also Consider - Roberto Luongo - Florida Panthers vs. MON

 

CENTER

Patrice Bergeron - Boston Bruins vs. OTT
DraftKings - $7,200 FanDuel - $7,500 DraftPot - 4.03 DPPG

He as been incredibly consistent this season with 33 points on 117 shots with an added +5 rating. He has picked up nine points in his last 10 games and has averaged 3.5 shots on net in that time. He has a very high floor making him safe for cash games and also carries huge multi point upside for the #3 offense and #1 PP unit in the NHL. The Bruins have lost three straight games and will be looking to rebound in a big way tonight at home vs. their division rivals.

Stack with - Brad Marrchand, Loui Eriksson, Torey Krug, David Krejci

Ryan Getzlaf - Anaheim Ducks @ CGY
DraftKings - $5,800 FanDuel - $7,800 DraftPot -  2.80 DPPG

The Ducks have had an awful first half of the season ranked 30th in offense and sit 2nd last in league standings coming into tonight's game in Calgary. Luckily for the Ducks they face a Flames team who has been just about as bad and rank 30th in goals allowed per game. Getzlaf has started to pick up the pace lately with points in three straight games. He also scored his first non empty net goal last game out vs. the Flyers. He and teammate Corey Perry have huge upside and make a great GPP stack tonight.

Stack with - Corey Perry, Rickard Rakell

Also Consider - Leon Draisaitl - Edmonton Oilers vs. LA

 

WINGERS

Jamie Benn - Dallas Stars @ CBJ
DraftKings - $8,500 FanDuel(LW) - $10,800 DraftPot -  5.05 DPPG

The price is getting pretty high for Benn on FanDuel and DraftPot but he still is a value on DraftKings where his salary remains under $9K. He sits 2nd in league scoring, behind only Patrick Kane, and has picked up 14 points in his last 10 games. In that time he has also added 28 shots and an amazing +12 rating. Dallas travels to Columbus, Ohio tonight to face the Blue Jackets who have had troubles stopping anyone's offense and now have the task of stopping the leagues #1 offense.

Stack with - Tyler Seguin, Patrick Sharp, Jason Spezza, 

John Gaudreau - Calgary Flames vs. ANH
DraftKings - $7,000 FanDuel(LW) - $9,500 DraftPot -  6.88 DPPG

He makes a fantastic play on DraftKings and FanDuel where his cost is under 17% of your cap. He is a must play almost every game the Flames play at home. The splits are quite amazing actually. In 18 road games he has 10 points and a -10 rating but at home in 17 contests he has 29 points and an incredible +18 rating. It is a very nice matchup tonight as the struggling Ducks come to town.

Stack with - Sean Monahan, Jiri Hudler, TJ Brodie

Jonathan Huberdeau - Florida Panthers vs. MON
DraftKings - $5,100 FanDuel(LW) - $6,100 DraftPot -  3.70 DPPG

He is in play on all sites tonight and makes a great play in any format. He provides a high floor with an average of 11.5 iCorsi/60 which has produced 85 shots on net this year. He has been red hot lately with nine points in his last 10 games and added a +6 rating. He skates on a line with Jaromir Jagr and Aleksander Barkov which has been incredibly solid and led the Panthers to 20-12-4 record which is 1st in the Atlantic Division.

Stack with -  Jaromir Jagr, Aleksander Barkov, Aaron Ekblad

Also Consider - Tyler Toffoli - LA Kings @ EDM

DEFENSE

Roman Josi - Nashville Predators @ STL
DraftKings - $7,100 FanDuel - $6,100 DraftPot -  4.55 DPPG

One of the top options on the point in fantasy. He provides a very high floor on DraftKings and DraftPot where his 2.7 blocks per game adds extra value. He has also picked up 28 points on 87 shots in 36 games this season. It is a tougher matchup on the road tonight and if the Preds are going to have a chance, Josi will be heavily involved in the offense.

Zdeno Chara - Boston Bruins vs. OTT
DraftKings - $5,200 FanDuel - $5,200 DraftPot -  2.63 DPPG

A very solid mid range option tonight for the Bruins. The floor is very stable with Chara lately as he has been firing a ton of shots on net(15 in last four games). He averages around 24 min of ice time per game and gets time on the leagues #1 powerplay.

Also Consider - Alex Goligoski - Dallas Stars @ CBJ
