Goaltenders

Ben Bishop
Opponent - DET
FD - 9800 DK - 8100

The Lightning come into this matchup leading the Red Wings by just 4 points with 10 games remaining in the regular season. the difference between the wild card and finishing top 3 in the division could prove huge come playoff time. Expect a playoff atmosphere tonight in projected low scoring game. The home team has dominated this series winning four straight in which every game came in under the total. Bishop has been red hot lately going 6-2-1 with a .955 save % and 3 shutouts in his last 9 starts.

Steve Mason
Opponent - CBJ
FD - 8100 DK - 7400

The Flyers will put their playoff hopes in the hands of Steve Mason for the final 11 games as Michal Neuvirth is out with injury. He played inspired last night making 23 saves on 24 shots in a 4-1 road win against the Islanders. The Flyers are playing on back to back nights on the road which might push some away tonight but Flyers are in a due or die mode playing a team who is all but mathematically eliminated from playoff contention.

Also Consider - Scott Darling - Chicago Blackhawks vs. DAL

CENTER

Anze Kopitar
Opponent - MIN
FD - 7800 DK - 6600

He has been one of the most consistent centers in the league the entire season. He has tallied 67 points in 71 games for the Kings including 16 PP points, 3 SH points, and an incredible +32 rating. The Kings have been rolling lately winning seven of their last 10 games and getting within a point of first overall in the Western Conference. Kopitar has been huge as the regular nears with 14 points in his last 10 games.

Stack with - Milan Lucic, Tyler Toffoli

Sean Couturier
Opponent - CBJ
FD - 4800 DK - 4100

If you are looking to go cheap at center, Couturier makes a terrific value play. The Flyers are surging and sit just one point behind the Red Wings in the eastern Conference wild card and need every point they can get. Their third line has been hot lately as the scoring has been very balanced over the last week and a half. Couturier has been terrific for the cost with seven assists in his last 10 games and added 18 shots and a +2 rating. Look for the Flyers to come out flying tonight despite a back to back as they face a team in the Blue Jackets who are all but eliminated from post season action.

Stack with - Michael Raffl, Sam Gagner

Also Consider - Mark Scheifele - Winnipeg Jets vs. VAN

WINGERS

Alex Ovechkin
Opponent - OTT
FD - 9500 DK - 8700

Both fantasy stars are on the ice tonight and I have definitely had a tough time choosing in this scenario. When I choose Ovi, Kane goes off and vie versa so I just want to make it clear both are elite options tonight. I am choosing Ovechkin over Kane as my favorite tonight as he gets the better matchup vs. the Senators who rank 27th in defense. Ovi is just eight goals short of 50 and you know he wants to reach that plateau in the final 11 games. It would be an amazing 7th time in his 11 year career he has reached 50 goals.

Stack with - Nicklas Backstrom, TJ Oshie, Marcus Johansson(PP)

Sam Reinhart
Opponent - CAR
FD - 4800 DK - 4300

With the injury to Jack Eichel last game, Reinhart center a line of Evander Kane and Ryan O'Reilly. Eichel should be back in action tonight and placed back on the top line with Reinhart. The two have shown some great chemistry and have shown a very bright future for the young Sabres. Reinhart has tallied eight points in his last 10 games with 23 shots on goal. The Sabres travel to Carolina tonight for a matchup of two teams that won't be in the post season. I expect some offense in ths game from both sides and reccomend exposoure, exspecially to the Sabres.

Stack with - Jack Eichel, Ryan O'Reilly, Evander Kane

Also Consider - Jakob Silfverberg - Anaheim Ducks @ MON

DEFENSE

Shayne Gostisbehere
Opponent - CBJ
FD - 5400 DK - 6100

I may be biased tonight as a Flyers fan, but everything lines up for a monster performance as they are heavy in a playoff race. If they don't get up for this game they may as well lay over and get ready to golf. Yes they are on back to back but the drive to make the playoffs should take over as they face the Blue Jackets who rank 29th in defense. Ghost Bear is a rookie of the year candidate and has tallied 39 points in 53 games for the Flyers. He quarterbacks the powerplay and gets a ton of opportunities. I will take the saving from Burns and Karlsson who face tough matchups and roll with Ghost who carries similar upside tonight.

Michael Stone
Opponent - EDM
FD - 3900 DK - 5000

He has been one of my favorite value play D men all year. His price on FanDuel is a close to a free spot under $4K. He provides a very stable floor as he has tallied 30 shots on goal in his last 10 games and added a goal and four assists. He also provides added value on DraftKings where he gets rewarded for blocks shots. He has averaged over two per game over the last 10 games.

Also Consider - Brent Burns - San Jose Sharks vs. STL

  • Hi guys I'm back into the swing of fantasy hockey. I took a break because I was on a losing streak and was busy with life in general. I'm on a pretty good winning streak in the last week since I started up again. Tonight I love the ducks in Montreal. Trust me I'm a Habs fan. They have simply given up on the year and Anaheim still has a lot to play for. So far I'm playing mcginn with perry on DK and mcginn and getzlaf on fan duel with fowler. And I'm starting Gibson although I like Chris's Bishop pick. I'll be around all day today and look forward to talking to everyone again. Hey we r all trying to help people on this site make money right? Let get to it :)

  • Here's my early 50/50 lineup.
Mcginn palat perry Kane Kopitar ekin fowler
Martinez Gibson. I will be changing it a bit later on, this is just a quick one I made up but it looks decent so far.

  • Working on my lineups as we speak. Will post one for each site in an hour or so.

No article tomorrow with their only being two games.

    Talk to you all soon.

    • Thoughts on my lineup?
      M Domi
      Ovechkin
      P Kane
      Bjorkstand
      Rakell
      T Johnson
      M Niskanen
      Ristolanen
      J Gibson in goal

  • Pick of the night last night was Nylander played in a H2H against someone who had him, was worth $3,300 on DK scored 9.5 points with 2A and 1G

  • Well my losing streak has extended to the point where I have to bet the rest of my bankroll as there's only $8. I'm thinking of doing a $5 H2H and the 3 entry league.

Which stacks you guys like? Ryan I'm using your LU for the H2H.

  • Lineup tonight

    Getz
    Jenner
    Di Giuseppe
    Panarin
    D.Sedin
    Kieth
    Stralman
    Gibson
    Eakin

50/50 on DK. No ovie or Kane I'm a bit worried I may toss a capital player in there.

  • Cool Justin I still like my lineup. Good luck to u tonight. If I make changes to my lineup I'll post it here. Jeramie I don't like ovechkin tonight. I think u should fade him and balance your lineup more for cash. If it's gpp though that could cash big if it hits

  • Marcel not jeramie sorry. Jeramie Nylander is a great pick for that pride on any site wow.

    • @Ryan Coucket- Hey Ryan while I am in complete agreeance with you Nylander was an awesome pick yesterday he's not playing today. I think Giuespe on Carolina is a good pick, but I like my Columbus pick of Bjorkstand who is on PP1 and a solid second line against a Philly team on a back to back and a rookie goaltender....I see Columbus going off

  • Yes they could go off for sure tonight. Great gpp stack but cash game plays are tough for Columbus. I'm in the middle of changing my lineup for the better as we speak because of lineup changes and stuff like that. I'm going back to getzlaf and mcginn and panarin instead of Kane. Def Gibson in goal. I'll post lineup shortly
