Welcome to another night of daily fantasy hockey with Daily Fantasy Sports Rankings. It's another busy Saturday in the NHL with 11 games in total starting with three games at 1:00 pm et. The games we will be focusing will be the eight games on the main slate. Outside of the Columbus vs. Carolina and Calgary vs. Edmonton matchups, all of the games have an impact on playoff positioning with just over a week to go in the regular season.

If you have any questions throughout the day be sure to join the conversation in the comments section below. Also, be sure to check LeftWingLock to get confirmation on all of the starting goalies for Tuesday. Now onto the picks.

Goaltenders

Roberto Luongo
Opponent - MON
FD - 8800 DK - 8100

It has been a struggle for Luongo in the second half as he has seen his save % drop from .930 in the first half to .903 since the All Star break. The wins have remained as his record has been 10-6-2 in large part to the team around him. The Panthers sit two points clear of Tampa Bay for the Atlantic Division with just five games to go so look for Luongo to be on his game as they get a favorable home matchup vs. the Canadiens.

Ben Bishop
Opponent - NJ
FD - 10000 DK - 8300

His four game losing streak came to an end last game as the Lightning had an off night and were shut out by the Habs. He was terrific before that game and has a 5-3-1 record over his last 10 starts with three shutouts and a very impressive .941 save percentage. As mentioned above, the Bolts sit two points back of the Panthers for the division lead to look for Bishop and the team to bounce back in a big way tonight as they face the Devils who are the lowest scoring team in the league(2.22 goals per game).

Also Consider - Henrik Lundqvist - New York Rangers vs. BUF

CENTER

Connor McDavid
Opponent - CGY
FD - 7300 DK - 7200

The Oilers are well out of a playoff spot but that hasn't stopped the rookie phenom from chasing the Rookie of the Year honors. While he has only played around half the games of the other rookies, he is the only one averaging over a point a game. McDavid has tallied 45 points in 42 games. Even if he doesn't win the future for McDavid and the Oilers is bright(more McDavid lol). The Oil get a favorable matchup in one of the highest projected totals of the night as they face the Flames and their 30th ranked defense for the final tie in 2015-16.

Stack with - Jordan Eberle, Patrick Maroon

Victor Rask
Opponent - CBJ
FD - 4600 DK - 4300

to get the top players and stacks in to your lineup on a nightly basis you have to mine value in the sub $5K range. Tonight my favorite value play is the Hurricanes top line, and specifically Rask at center. He has scored four goals in his last three games and has six(three on the PP) in his last 10 games. The Hurricanes should come out flying tonight at home as they still have a shot at the wild card in the East but will need to win out and get help from multiple teams. Great matchup vs. the Blue Jackets ranked 29th in goals allowed per game.

Stack with - Jeff Skinner, Chris Terry

Also Consider - Aleksander Barkov - Florida Panthers vs. MON

WINGERS

James Neal
Opponent - SJ
FD - 7400 DK - 6600

The Predators have gone into a bit of a slump defensively lately losing three straight and giving up 14 goals. That hasn't stopped Neal from producing in a big way as he has tallied point in two straight and has 13 in his last 10 games including 44 shots on goal and a +6 rating. He is safe for cash games and could be a great GPP play tonight as the Preds could go under owned due to the tough matchup vs. the Sharks. Don't worry about it too much though as the Preds have beaten the Sharks in five straight games in Nashville.

Stack with - Ryan Johansen, Calle Jarnkrok

Marcus Johansson
Opponent - ARI
FD - 4300 DK - 4000

He is one of the top value plays of the night sitting around a $4K price tag on both sites. He skates on the top line with Alex Ovechkin and also gets time on the Capitals second unit on the powerplay. The offensive production hasn't caught up to the opportunity yet but he is coming off a game where he recorded an assist vs. the AVS last night. He will get another great shot at some fantasy production tonight as the Caps travel to Arizona to face a Coyotes team ranked 28th in defense.

Stack with - Alex Ovechkin, T.J. Oshie

Also Consider - Nikita Kucherov - Tampa bay Lightning vs. NJ

DEFENSE

Brent Burns
Opponent - NAS
FD - 8000 DK - 8600

He can probably be considered a safe cash game play at this point. Even with the price tag higher than Ovi on DraftKings it is hard to argue the production. He provides a super high floor averaging right around five shots on goal per game lately and has averaged over 5 fantasy points per game on both sites. We all know about the upside as he has recorded three straight multi point games and has 11 points in his last 10 games for the Sharks.

Niklas Kronwall
Opponent - TOR
FD - 3700 DK - 4000

A very cheap D option on both sites. The Red Wings are in teh middle of a due or die playoff run and Kronwall has been playing like a younger version of himself with points in three straight games. He will get another golden opportunity to help his team as the red Wings travel to Toronto to face the Leafs tonight.

Also Consider - Keith Yandle - New York Rangers vs. BUF

  2. Luongo or bishop? Ahhh i can’t decide. The Devils have haunted me In the past and Luongo is slightly cheaper.
    Tough choice

  3. im about to gove up with draftkings sadley… cant seem to win anything… in the big $25000 contests, peanuts… do you guys play those bog contests or dp you guys play lile 50/50 and H2H

feeling discouraged lol i actually made 10 lineups yesterday and not one cashed in

  4. I play 50/50’s double ups and head to heads trying to build my bankroll. Once I do that then I will start hammering the tourneys.

  5. Usually just stay with the 50/50 or heads up. Everyone once in awhile I’ll mix in a tourney.
