Welcome back for another night of daily fantasy hockey, playoff edition. It's Saturday so that means we get hockey pretty much all day starting with the Stars hosting the Blues in game five of a tied series. The Penguins will then travel to Washington to attempt to eliminate the Caps in game five. Later on tonight the Predators and Sharks will also play game five in a mini best of three with the Sharks owning home ice advantage.

If you have any questions throughout the day be sure to join the conversation in the comments section below. Also, be sure to check LeftWingLock to get confirmation on all of the starting goalies for Tuesday. Now onto the picks.

Goaltenders

Martin Jones
Opponent - NAS
FD - 9000 DK - 8200

After a regular season that saw the Sharks with crazy home/road splits that leaned heavily to the road, they have flipped the switch in the second round. They won the first two games with Jones playing fantastic stopping 66 of 70 shots in the Shark Tank. Things changed dramatically when they arrived in Nashville. The Preds came out flying and scored eight goals on home ice to tie up the series. I am expecting a better all around performance by Jones and the Sharks as they will now battle the Preds in a best of three with two games on home ice.

Kari Lehtonen
Opponent - STL
FD - 8300 DK - 7600

He got the start in game five after replacing Niemi in game four. The Stars have flip flopped their goalie throughout these playoffs and are somehow getting away with it. Lehtonen rebounded with a good effort stopping 24 of 26 shots he faced picking up the win on Cody Eakin's OT winner. He will be in line for another start, this time on home ice as the Stars look to take the lead in the series before heading back to St. Louis for game six.

CENTER

Logan Couture
Opponent - NAS
FD - 7100 DK - 6200

What more can I say about Couture? I have listed him in the article almost the entire playoffs and profited nicely off his current run. He is coming off another multi point game(his 4th in last five games) and now has 12 points which is good for third in the playoffs. His price is affordable making him a great pivot off the top priced options at center.
Stack with  - Joonas Donskoi, Joel Ward
Cody Eakin
Opponent - STL
FD - 4200 DK - 4300

Eakin came through in a big way in game four as he scored the OT winner with a beautiful snipe from the left dot. He makes a terrific value play again as he skates on the top line with Benn and Sharp and gets ton of opportunities for fantasy points as the setup man. With three games it is going to be hard t find value so take the guy that plays on the first line of the leagues top offense(regular season).

Stack with  - Patrick Sharp, Jamie Benn

WINGERS

Alex Ovechkin
Opponent - PIT
FD - 9400 DK - 9000

I haven't listed Ovi in awhile now and he really hasn't been that spectacular with just three points in four games in this series. The Pens have shut him down nicely and frustrated him throughout the game. Facing elimination tonight, I expect his best game of the playoffs. He is an elite player and will put his team on his back and fight until the last breath. He is due for a monster game after recording 14 shots in the last two games.

Stack with - Evgeny Kuznetsov, TJ Oshie

Marcus Johansson
Opponent - PIT
FD - 4900 DK - 4500

The Capitals have shaken their line combinations up heading into an elimination game tonight. Johansson has been moved up from the third line and will skate with Backstrom and Burakovsky. He is under $5K on both sites and coming into this game had provided tremendous value as a PP weapon as he skated with the top unit. His value will get a bump tonight if he remains in the top six and keeps his spot on the powerplay which should not be in doubt.

Stack with - Nicklas Backstrom, Andre Burakovsky

DEFENSE

Brent Burns
Opponent - NAS
FD - 8200 DK - 8600

It doesn't feel right paying this much for a D man but Burns is no regular D man. He is coming off another multi point game(5th of the playoffs) and now sits second in the league with 13 points. He is the force that drives the Sharks offense from the back end and is averaging around four shots on goal per game. There is enough value on the slate to easily get him and another elite player in your lineup

Ryan Ellis
Opponent - SJ
FD - 4300 DK - 4400

I have wrote up Ellis before mentioning he was only a DraftKings play due to a lack of offensive upside. He must have heard me because he has picked up three points in the last two games in Nashville, easily hitting value. I don't expect the offense to continue as he just doesn't play that role. He does offer a safe floor for cash games or as a compliment to Burns.

Also Consider - Matt Niskanen - Washington Capitals vs. PIT
