Brief Summary:

PPD Threat:OAK(10%),KC(10%)

Delay Threat: OAK(20%), KC(25%), PHL(35% late)

Good Hitting Environments: ATL, KC

Poor Hitting Environments: TB, LAA, SD

Forecasting Analysis:

TEX@OAK

We will start our discussion in a place that does not seem rain too often, the Bay Area. Here is what the radar should look like around scheduled 1st pitch:

You can see that Oakland should be on the southern fringe of the rain, the rain is rather showery but it is a close call to some heavier and steadier rain. This model shows that they are dealing only with a light and showery rain all game long but it is too close to call for me. I will keep a close eye on this area. LOW CHANCE OF A PPD, LOW TO MAYBE MODERATE CHANCE OF A DELAY

TOR@PHL

Rain will be approaching the region from the west mid-game. Here is the simulated radar for 7 PM:

So we should be dry to start the game but rain will likely move in but not until after 9 PM. Obviously, this becomes a big problem IF the rain moves in quicker. Another region to watch closely. LOW CHANCE OF A PPD, MODERATE CHANCE OF A DELAY AFTER 8:30 PM

DET@KC

A few scattered tstorms will be across the region this evening as can be seen in the simulated radar from around scheduled 1st pitch:

You can see the loose organization of these tstorm cells. Not overly concerned about a PPD though we can not completely count it out if one of the cells sits over the stadium and does not move. LOW CHANCE OF A PPD; LOW TO MODERATE CHANCE OF SOME TYPE OF DELAY
