What We Know

LaMarcus Aldridge has been ruled out vs the 76ers

With Gasol already out indefinitely, there are a lot of minutes up for grabs. David Lee is a great play, and we will touch on him in a bit. Dewayne Dedmon and Kawhi could also see a few extra minutes, and Kawhi is a guy who will be very popular tonight. I am on the train and willing to play Leonard in cash as well as tournaments.

Draymond Green is out vs the Clippers

Dray messed up his shoulder last night, and I expect him to only miss 1 game here. This does open up a spot where we didn't have much interest before. With Pachulia already out, Looney and McAdoo should see most the minutes but are nothing more than tournament plays for me. I see Kevin Durant getting the biggest bump here, as they will now need help rebounding and moving the ball. Durant should be able to step in and handle most of Green's responsibilities. I'm a fan of Durant in all formats.

Joel Embiid & Robert Covington are out vs the Spurs

Both of these guys play big minutes and take a lot of shots. They also both missed last game, so we have a pretty good gauge of who will pick up minutes. Jahlil Okafor, Nerlens Noel, Dario Saric and Ersan Ilyasova all saw generous minutes, and are in play tonight. While the match up with the Spurs isn't great, this is a 4 game slate and we have to take what we can get. Noel is my favorite, as I think he matches up with David Lee very well.

What We're Waiting to Know

Thabo Sefolosha is questionable vs the Rockets

Thabo may not be a very fantasy relevant player, but he does matter in the grand scheme. If he misses, Tim Hardaway Jr. will get the start and be a very good play across the board. James Harden will also see worse defense, which gives him a boost as well. Bazemore also has his minutes secured over 32.

The "Every Lineup" Guys

James Harden

Harden would definitely not be here if this was a regular slate with a ton of options to pay up. However, this is a slate with plenty of value, and we will be able to pay up for Harden with ease. Harden has by far the most upside and safety on this slate, and his price reflects that. This match up with the Hawks sets up well, especially if Thabo Sefolosha is eventually ruled out. He will see the defense of Tim Hardaway Jr. and Kent Bazemore, who are both not anywhere near the defender needed for Harden. Harden is safe for both cash games and tournaments, and I will have him everywhere.

David Lee

With LaMacarcus Aldridge and Pau Gasol both ruled out, David Lee is nearly a lock for minutes. This match up with the 76ers is fantastic, as they have ranked in the bottom third against centers for the past 4 seasons. Lee is going to see 25 minutes, at least, and will shoot the ball plenty. He also rebounds exceptionally well, and will be needed without the big bodies. Kawhi Leonard will also pick up some minutes and usage.
