Daily Fantasy NBA News and Injury Updates for FanDuel and DraftKings - 4/5/17

Welcome to the daily updates and injury news article. We'll try and update it right up to line-up locks with as much information as comes across our desks. Let's get to it!

Last night's picks can be found here, so you can wrap your mind around what you need to be looking at before lineups lock tonight.

By the way - we keep our projection system updated with all of the changes as they occur throughout the day right up until lineup lock. Every day. If you want access to that system so you can cut out a lot of the research element, click the button below!

What We Know

Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala will sit for rest purposes

Matt Barnes is really the only guy I see getting a big bump here. Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson will both pick up a few more shots and have increased usage. Kevin Looney and David West may get some minutes, but I have not interest.

Tristan Thompson will sit out against the Celtics with a sprained thumb

With Thompson out, I expect Love to play the 5 here. The Celtics don't have a crazy interior presence and he should be able to handle Horford pretty well. Lary Sander and Channing Frye could also see a few minutes at the 5, but are unnecessary.

What We're Waiting to Know

Jae Crowder is a GTD against the Cavs

Crowder is a big part of this offense and he will do his absolute best to make sure he plays. Even if he plays, I don't think he will be 100%. If he's out, you have to like Isaiah Thomas and Jaylen Brown. Both will get bumps and Avery Bradley could also see some time at the 3.

Dirk Nowitzki, Harrison Barnes, Seth Curry, Devin Harris, and J.J. Barea are all questionable

Ummmm.... who knows. These guys have no incentive to play and I wouldn't be surprised to see any of them sit. No matter what, I don't think anyone on this team sees crazy minutes tonight. Nerlens Noel is really good and makes sense in tournaments. He could see 40 fantasy points in only 30 minutes.

Kyle Lowry is questionable to return tonight against the Pistons

If Lowry returns, I will stay away from the Raptors. The Pistons play slow and don't give up too much to guards. If Lowry remains out, DeRozan is a good tournament option. With that being said, I like the Rockets SG's a lot, so I doubt I will have too much exposure.

The "Every Lineup" Guys

Lou Williams

Sweet Lou and the Rockets face off with the Nuggets tonight. With Ryan Anderson ruled out, you can safely project 30 minutes. The Nuggets are a putrid defense and can't cover SG's. Gary Harris will be on Harden and he's the only above average defender they have (Not saying he has a chance against Harden). Williams is just way too cheap on both sites and the value he has tonight is tremendous. Needing just 25 fantasy points to hit value, Williams has the real upside to 10x his salary. The Rockets don't have anyone else and no matter the score, Williams will see 30 minutes.

Larry Nance Jr.

Nance ended up seeing 40 minutes last game and went absolutely nuts. While I'm not sure we can expect that many minutes again, I do think 32-35 is more than fair. The Spurs have a reputation of being this lockdown defense, which is a mirage to a degree. Aldridge and Gasol are pretty horrible defenders and get covered up by the pristine perimeter defense of Leonard and crew. Nance is extremely active on the boards and I can see him going for another easy double-double here.
