There are two games that stand out above the rest in terms of game totals and I am going to focus on the Cards/Seahawks as it feels a little more friendly to game stack with both defenses ranking outside the Top 25 overall. In this game specifically, it has been Geno Smith garnering the most love and rightfully so as he is having a terrific season. This has me pivoting to the other side with Kyler Murray who has been good, not great to start the year as we have yet to see the upside game but I feel that changes this week. It comes down to the matchup as he faces a Seahawks defense that is ranked 31st in DVOA against the pass and giving up the 7th most passing yards per game(259.8) through five weeks. The projected upside is what really has me liking Kyler over Geno in this game because while the Cardinals have allowed the fewest passing yards on deep passes this season, the Seahawks have allowed the 6th most(stats via NFL Savant).

That brings us to his pass catchers who I will have a lot of exposure to this week both as single and double-stack options. Let's start with Marquise Brown who is second in the league in targets(55), sixth in receiving yards(417), and seventh in receiving touchdowns(3). Now let's look at some upside stats as Hollywood is also seventh in air yards and air yards and has a 9.4 aDOT on the season. I am also very high on his teammate Rondale Moore who will be playing just his third game of the season but has improved each week and gets a terrific matchup. he runs over 70% of his routes in the slot and will see a ton of the Seahawks slot corner Coby Bryant who is ranked 144th of 168 corners in terms of coverage this season.

When talking game stacks, they rarely work unless the other team can keep the game close so running back your double-stacks makes a ton of sense. Good news as the Seahawks have two very good wideouts and a quarterback who is having no problem getting them the ball. In my game stacks, I will have exposure to both DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett but leaning toward the latter in most of my builds, at least on DraftKings where they have forgotten to raise his price. Lockett also leads the league in air yards through five weeks but don't underestimate Metcalf who is 10th, as well.

There are so many different combinations of this stack that make sense this week and I will have a ton of exposure in my multi-entry builds. Lock and load!

Game Stack - Tampa Bay @ Pittsburgh

Tom Brady FD 7500 DK 6300
Opponent PIT
Proj Points FD - 19.5 DK - 19.5

Chris Godwin FD 6800 DK 6100
Opponent PIT
Proj Points FD - 14.25 DK - 17.65

George Pickens FD 5800 DK 4600
Opponent TB
Proj Points FD - 4 DK - 4.87

While it may not appear that the Bucs' offense and passing attack has hit full stride they do rank 8th in DVOA passing which surprised me a bit considering the injuries they sustained early in the season. They are pretty much at full health now and provide some excellent PTS/$ value for stacking once again this week. It starts with Tom Brady whose price remains in check on both sites despite coming off 350+ yard passing performances in back-to-back weeks. The volume has been incredible with 50 passing attempts in both of those and more importantly, he has his top two pass-catching weapons back.

While I will have exposure to both Mike Evans and Chris Godwin in my Tampa stacks I am going to focus on Godwin here as the matchup in the slot lines up very well. It comes down to the Steelers' coverage which has allowed a league-high 736 yards down the middle of field while allowing the 4th fewest receiving yards on the outside(via NFL Savant). It also helps sway me to Godwin when, like Lockett, DraftKings failed to raise his price in relation to the terrific matchup and consistency. I will then be running it back with rookie George Pickens who is playing his best ball with fellow rookie Kenny Pickett under center. In the two games they have played together, Pickens has 12 catches on 16 targets for 185 yards while tallying 14+ fantasy points in both. He is another player that has yet to see a price bump so buy-low before he is a staple in the mid-tier of pricing.
