Guards

Ja Morant FD - $10600 DK - $10200
Opponent - SAC
Proj Pts FD - 51.99 DK - 55.75

With Luka reaching the $12K mark on both sites, it makes it pretty easy to pivot to Morant, who is nearly $2K cheaper. Outside of the dud against Luka's Mavericks, Morant has been playing like an MVP shooting 56% from the field on elite usage(23.3 shots per game) while adding an average of eight assists and five rebounds in those games. He now gets an elite matchup against a Kings team that not only ranks 22nd in defensive efficiency but is also 6th in pace. With a monster total(237) in this game, I will be building around Morant in all formats.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander FD - $10300 DK - $9300
Opponent - LAC
Proj Pts FD - 46.56 DK - 48.77
Tre Mann FD - $5400 DK - $5600
Opponent - LAC
Proj Pts FD - 25.5 DK - 27.87

The Thunder are short-handed at the guard position with Giddey out of the lineup which has concentrated a lot of usage to these two players. That showed in their last game where they combined for 46 shots in a win against the Clippers. Let's start with SGA who was originally doubtful, then questionable, then starting with no restrictions in that game and went off for a 63-point fantasy game. He has been terrific to start the season with 20+ shots in all three games while adding a terrific mix of secondary scoring with 6.7 assists, 4.7 rebounds, and 4.0 streals+blocks. With the price remaining under $10K on DraftKings, that is where I have the most interest tonight. For Mann, it was his second start of the season and first without Giddey which was the difference maker in the volume and overall performance. He not only dropped 25 points, he added four rebounds, four assists, and two steals to give us a ceiling game of 40 fantasy points. I don't think we get that ceiling game again but with a mid $5K price tag we don't need it, at least for cash games.

Spencer Dinwiddie FD - $5000 DK - $5500
Opponent - BKN
Proj Pts FD - 26.45 DK - 29.55

Speaking of mid $5K guards, we have Dinwiddie who benefited big time with Hardaway missing Tuesday's game as he saw a season-high 38 minutes and 15 shots and rewarded us with 35 fantasy points. He is mostly shooting dependant but has been tremendous from behind the arc(55.6%) and best of all, faces a Nets team that is playing on a back-to-back and has been one of the worst defensive teams in the league(28th) to start the season. Fire up Dinwiddie in all formats provided THJ is out again.

Small Forward

Andrew Wiggins FD - $7900 DK - $6900
Opponent - MIA
Proj Pts FD - 32.85 DK - 34.53

The small forward position is pretty ugly on this smaller slate tonight but one guy that stands out is Andrew Wiggins. The Warriors are the league's fastest team and Wiggins is currently sitting second on the team in minutes played behind Steph and while there are a group of players clumped together in usage behind Steph, Wiggins has easily been the most effective. He is averaging 20.8 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 3.3 blocks+steals per game and has topped 33 fantasy points in all four games and has 39 or more in three of them. It's a tougher matchup against the Heat's defense which probably limits his upside but this game has the second-highest total so I am on board with the fantasy floor in cash games, at least on DraftKings.

Power Forward/Center

Domantas Sabonis FD - $9000 DK - $8200
Opponent - MEM
Proj Pts FD - 42.74 DK - 45.9

On this small slate, it is probably going to be a good strategy to get as much exposure to this game as possible considering it has the highest total(237) by far. Despite being held to 22 minutes in his last game, Sabonis still crushed from a fantasy points per minute perspective with his second straight double-double and 45 fantasy points. He now gets his best matchup of the season against a Grizzlies team that is allowing 123 points per game and sits 30th in defensive efficiency. They have also been below-average against centers(20th) so while the price is rising, I will have exposure to Sabonis in all formats.

Santi Aldama FD - $5300 DK - $5200
Opponent - SAC
Proj Pts FD - 26.86 DK - 28.47

On the other side of this game, we have an excellent PTS/$ value in Santi Aldama who has stepped into a bigger role in 2022 and has delivered early on. He has played 30 or more minutes in three of his four games, shot 50% or better from the field in three of four games, and with an average of 12.8 points and 7.5 rebounds has topped 27 fantasy points in three of four games. As long as the price remains in the low $5K range on both sites, he will be a top pTS/$ value for me in all formats.

Ivica Zubac FD - $6500 DK - $6500
Opponent - OKC
Proj Pts FD - 32.37 DK - 33.51

When getting the minutes, Zubac has been an absolute beast this season recording a double-double, five or more blocks, and 45 fantasy points in both games where he has exceeded 30 minutes on the floor. He should get there again tonight with Kawhi Leonard and Marcus Morris out again and the fact both Batum and Kennard were not that great down low. The price is on the rise adding a bit more risk but I trust the minutes based on the situation and will have exposure in all formats.
