Guards

Chris Paul FD - $8100 DK - $7900
Opponent - SA
Proj Pts FD - 43.46 DK - 46.14

Since returning from injury, Chris Paul has completely skipped the "shaking off the rust" phase as he has been tremendous for the Suns. He has played 38 minutes in two of three games and was only limited to 27 in the other due to a blowout. Paul has also tallied a double-double in all three games back while averaging 47.5 fantasy points per game. He now faces a Spurs team that is dead last in defensive efficiency, 6th in pace, and allows the second-most fantasy points to guards. Considering the price hasn't budged and the Suns are still short-handed, Paul is an elite play in all formats.

Spencer Dinwiddie FD - $8000 DK - $7400
Opponent - UTA
Proj Pts FD - 35.86 DK - 39.22

With superstar Luka Doncic set to miss at least one game with an ankle injury, there will be some added usage to go around and Spencer Dinwiddie will most definitely be a benefactor. He was tremendous in leading the Mavs to a win after Luka exited last game playing 40 minutes, dropping 10 of 18 shots(5 of 6 from beyond the arc), and nearly hitting 60 fantasy points. Even with Luka in the lineup, Dinwiddie has provided a solid floor averaging just over 37 DK points over his last 10 games. In a matchup against Utah's 26th-ranked defense, Dinwiddie is a core play for me in all formats.

Fred VanVleet FD - $8800 DK - $8100
Opponent - POR
Proj Pts FD - 38.3 DK - 40.7

The Raptors have multiple players who are borderline cash plays almost every single game so when one of them is out it grabs my attention. It isn't certain yet but OG left last night's game with a sprained ankle and is questionable but we aren't expecting him to play on a back-to-back. For me, that has me interested in multiple players starting with Fred who has not only snapped out of a slump but has been terrific recently averaging 28.3 points and 7.2 assists for over 51 fantasy points a game in his last six. I love the floor FVV provides and in a matchup against Portland's 22nd-ranked defense, I will have exposure in all formats.

Small Forward

Kenyon Martin Jr. FD - $5600 DK - $5200
Opponent - DET
Proj Pts FD - 29.26 DK - 31.78

This Rockets/Pistons matchup has my attention as these teams rank 28th and 29th respectively when looking at defensive efficiency this season. Martin has been a player on my cash game radar recently as he has been very consistent from a PTS/$ perspective averaging 14.4 points and 8.3 rebounds returning nearly 30 fantasy points per game. With both Kevin Porter and Jalen Green out tonight, there should be some extra shots to go around which should benefit Martin making him an excellent PTS/$ value on this slate.

Power Forward/Center

Kyle Kuzma FD - $8500 DK - $9100
Opponent - NO
Proj Pts FD - 43.26 DK - 48.18

With the price reaching a season-high on DraftKings combined with a tougher matchup, Kyle Kuzma is on the edge for us in terms of our cash game model. He still checks a lot, however, and it starts with the usage as he has taken 20 or more shots in seven straight games including 10 or more three-point attempts in six straight. He has also delivered on that volume averaging 27.4 points per game during that stretch and add in the rebounds(8.4) and assists(4.6) and he has provided us with an average of 48 fantasy points per game. With Porzingis remaining out, Kuzma is in play for me in all formats, especially on FanDuel where the price remains in the mid-8k range.

Cameron Johnson FD - $6000 DK - $5500
Opponent - SA
Proj Pts FD - 30.72 DK - 32.87

In his fourth game back from injury, Johnson shredded the minutes limit Thursday and continued to look good with 22 points and eight rebounds. Despite being limited in 3/4 of his games since that return, he has dropped 35 or more fantasy points three times and now gets a matchup against the Spurs' league-worst defense. The price has yet to fully adjust, especially on DraftKings, so let's take advantage in this elite matchup and lock Johnson in as a core play in all formats.

Alperen Sengün FD - $8400 DK - $8800
Opponent - DET
Proj Pts FD - 48.56 DK - 50.73

One player whose price has adjusted very quickly is Sengun but the system still thinks there is PTS/$ value and I tend to agree, especially in a matchup against the Pistons' 29th-ranked defense. Sengun has been in beast mode for fantasy providing numbers in every area averaging 22 points, 11.3 rebounds, 7.2 assists, and 3.3 block+steals over his last six games. Read that again. Add in that extra usage with both Porter and and Green out and Sengun is a core play in all formats.
